This song was a hit on Puerto Rico radio stations. I loved it from the first time I heard it back in 1991 and I still listen to it for its contagious rhythm. Also, in some music stations of the 80’s in PR are still listening. Waoo this song I listened to it every day and it brings me great memories since I was in High School. I still listen to it and it brings back great memories. Keedy a beautiful singer. Thank you for your music! Just amazing! What a shame that there are no longer singers with real voices or songs with emotive messages!
Keedy is an unique singer who has left a mark with her great voice and with songs like this that transcends borders. It's a wonderful song and a great singer with a sweet and powerful voice. I love the video, is super kool and fun. Keedy looks amazing in this video! I still have the single tape! Many greetings from P.R..
Beautiful performance by Keedy: one of the best pop songs ever. It would have deserved more support from the radio and probably also from the Arista record company.
Heard a beefed up version of this in the club last night. Many hands in the air. Save Some Love might feel underrated but there's many DJs out there keeping this alive
Still a good song to this day. She had two top forty singles and only one album. I wondered why for a long time, it turned out she was being harassed by people at her record label. They put pressure on her to adopt a "sexier" image and she refused, so that was basically the end of her music career. She stuck to her principles, though. And that is to be commended!
Are you kidding me? Keedy and Gerard were a regular club staple in the Milwaukee clubs. Eric Benet was also fronting the band for awhile, before he blew up. I loved Keedy - she was infectious, and I honestly thought that her star would hang a little longer.
I was about 12 years old when this song was popular. I enjoyed hearing it on the radio station I listened to in a suburb of Dallas, where I lived. One day, my uncle and I went to a record store called Sound Warehouse, and I bought, among other things, the cassette single of the song. We drove off in my uncle's convertible, put the tape in, and got on the highway. The fast speed we were going, coupled with the open air, was a great soundtrack for the moment. I'm 44 now, but that brief moment of time is still in my memory.
Had the privilege of seeing her live, up close, in a small club in La Crosse, WI with a band called Girard. She was one of the 2 female singers in the band.
I remember when you played at the Marriott in Milwaukee. So very long ago. Lol, I always brought you roses on stage. So glad to find your music again, great memories :)
I used to call into the radio stations in Milwaukee requesting this constantly. Keedy was our hometown star! And the song rocked!! I bought the single, the album-I think Keedy was my first fandom, as much as a dorky rural kid could have a fandom. To this day, I will get this in my head-and then I come here and play it, like I did today. Literally one of the songs of my childhood; while I’m so disappointed Keedy didn’t have a giant career, I love that this is a treasure for those of us who were lucky enough to find it.
Small world, I could have heard this song as you requested it as being from Racine, Milwaukee was where the music came from - 94.5 WKTI or Hot 102.1. I love this song to death - music was the best in the 80's and then 1990 and 1991 came and knocked it out of the park even more and then 1992 came and it all went down hill from there, besides John Secada and a handful of others.
I used to have this song on a cassette single. I consolidated my singles into a mix tape & I'm pretty sure I still have it. Absolutely love this song; pity it isn't available on Spotify. Thanks for taking me back, Kelly!
Keedy’s Chase The Clouds was my very first cd album for my very first cd player, I remember I was fifteen years old. And I still love this song, and I love Keedy’s vocals! Unfortunately for some reason I can’t find this on spotify here in Finland ☹️
Every element was in place for this song to reach Number One. Shame on Arista and Keedy's management for not putting this single where everyone in the world knows instantly where it should have gone.
This might just be my favorite video ever and it is perfect for such a fun positive song. Everybody - including the animals and especially Keedy - looks like they're having a blast without seeming scripted or over produced. I will be here often watching and listening!
she should have never been a one hit wonder if you can get your hands on this album get it besides this song its filled with other good ones as well its such a shame she never got the fame she deserved
Just saw the music video for the first time last night. New instant favorite. I, too, fondly remember this song from my high school days. *sigh* Memories...
Hi, Kelly! Today I was watching the movie "Dying Young" and your song was played in one of the scenes. I imediately surfed the end credits of the movie on the net and I finally found the title and the name of the singer of this song. Yes "Finally" because I watched your performance on TV about 30 years ago and I fell totally in love with the song. I don't know the name of the show, but it was something like "Viña del Mar"... You were wearing a white blouse and black shorts. I recorded it on VHS and I watched your performance millions of times, till the day the cassette "died". Today, when I listened to the song while watching the movie, I felt like never before. So, so happy!!! I have already listened to it about 200 times TODAY!!!! Best song ever. Thank you for the great creation! ❤❤❤
A truly great pop song. I was hooked in '91, and still love it. I have most definitely saved some love for the song ;-) And Keedy, wow what a voice, stellar!
Really wish Amazon, Apple, or Spotify would add you to their collection. You deserve to be heard.! I have the CD still, but I don't always have it with me.
Omg I kept putting Kiki on Spotify then I remembered the part in Dying Young where this song played while Julia was putting mayo in her hair lol. I googled the soundtrack and saw it was Keedy!!! I over played my cassette tape of this song. Still love it!!!! Thanks internet.
I was born in 1987 in North Dakota... I think an aunt gave me her old CD & it was my first CD ever ! I would do gymnastics in the living room to it! Burned into ny memory... in a good way! 🏳️🌈
It’s the perfect song. I loved this song when I recorded it off the radio on cassette when I was 13 and I still love the song at 45 years now. Thank you!
Just came across this song on a long lost mixed tape I made. Brings back memories of a great time and era. The first time I heard it on the radio I thought it was Kylie Minogue.
Oh God! 2022! I don't even know how this song just kinda popped into my head but I had to try to look for it! Ah yes! I remember... Thanks to gems like this song that helps us remember the good times. Oh wow! Just read up on you and found out you're from Milwaukee too! Awesome! I hope you play at a local venue soon! I loved this song, I don't think it was a big chart hit in the UK if I remember - if at all, but everyone knew it thanks to the radio station Atlantic 252 who at the time was very US chart influenced (before they went 'dancey'). I managed to get it from somewhere on vinyl. Really happy memories :-)
Yeah, Atlantic 252 was fantastic - when they went "dancey' due to what they called listener's feedback - it all went wrong. They always played great stuff like this, that you could not hear anywhere else.
Thanks for all the great comments. It was an amazing time. Lots love. Keedy
Kelly Keedy "Save Some Love" was one of my favorite songs of 1991. I bought the cassette single back in the day.

Te busqué por 33 años y te encontré. Eres simplemente maravillosa Keedy, creci con tu musica. Desde Argentina con amor. Gracias!
This song never got the recognition it deserved.
I agree, this was a great song and one of my favorites from the 90s!
I was 17 the year this was released. You were the template for the ideal woman. Talented, articulate and beautiful. Thank you for the great memories.

I LOVED this song. Don't remember the year, but I got my Z.CAVARICCI faded blue jeans with big black belt because of how cool she looked in the video.
Wow, I had those jeans in black and have this Cd. Those were the days.
1991
Why isn’t this banger on spotify?
Agreed! I just went looking for it & couldn't find it. This was one of my favorites back in the day.
It’s on Apple Music
One of my favorite one hit wonders of the 90s; perhaps all time.
I am very thankful that I know Kelly through my wife, they have been best friends for many years. Very nice lady and still looks the same!

such a happy song...my memory reminds in 1991.....
A gorgeous, innocent, bright song about being in love. I wish people would still write songs like this.
Keedy did a large number of custom versions of this song for local radio stations including KZII FM Lubbock Z102.
Every element was in place for this song to reach Number One.
