Why is everyone shocked about the reveal of a secret lair? Dream has said repeatedly that he has a house on the SMP lmao, Techno refusing to believe him doesn't make it not exist.
Exactly like it wouldn’t make sense that this man can literally gather as much obsidian for a prison and have a shit ton of resources and he has no where to keep them
I do have to say that it doesn't fit with how Dream normally builds his bases. There is way too much space. It could be a Punz base, maybe? Or maybe something that was already there, a structure from a past time? I mean time travel does exist in the canon of DSMP, and there were structures that weren't seen in the DSMP as of yet.
@@corruptsolstice340 that would be cool but it's a laboratory so it's possible that he wanted more space inside so that he can explode things inconspicuously.
@@MonkeyBanjo7 i dont think so.... i think his character has always been relatively factionless. Idk maybe i missed something. Though, this all happened before the prison arc, so hes had his time to realize they were gone.
Once again I feel I must point out that we only see each being killed three times, three cannon lives. Dream wasn't experimenting with permanently killing people because that would be (nearly) useless, why would he want to get rid of a tool. As for the whole "the book steals lives" thing, it's still possible. These two were ranboos two lives. Wilbur was ghostbur (possibly, depends if ghosts count) That just leaves Tommy I actually like this, because that would explain why 2 of ranboos lives disappeared at the same time. Do agree on the book thing though. And the very end is certainly interesting, wouldn't be surprised if it were true. Also calling it now, a huge confrontation is going to end with dream being burnt to death in lava, but it will be later revealed that he had the book on him and revived himself. (Only problem here is that people are brought back where they died, though the latest lore video may disprove that. The final death in said video was in a shooting range, they Reappeared in a cage)
It would be more interesting Lore wise, if this book has infinite lives, why use ranboos? There was no real reason.. Unless dream planned everything and WANTED Ranboo dead, maybe to get to techno, even though that clearly would have failed.
@@chrisyoung7662 Agreed, though if the book does use other people's lives (and especially if it requires some other steps) then that leaves dream in an interesting position, faking that he can revive anyone when in reality he's much more limited.
@@pineappleudh6561 Agreed, very few people (Involved in lore) have more than 1 life, eventually, everyone will get down to 1 and dream wouldn't be able to use it any further
Well that does explain a few things, it still doesn't explain as to why Dream would trust *Punz* of all people. Like, aren't George and sapnap the people he literally started the server with? It would make sense if he wanted to ally with them (before recent lore but he has planned a lot ahead) It would make sense if Dream planned to have George and Sapnap on his side, but why Punz? And what does it mean that both Phil and Techno are still alive just because they are allied? Does this mean that in future lore we might see them falling weak because they were separated? I feel like these are some questions worth a theory in themselves.
It is more meaning that techno and phil together are unstopable if one goes the other will find out and foil Dreams plan, also remember this happens most likely after the destruction of manburg which also means that most likely George and sapnap had begun building el rapids with quackity. Sapnap had always been sort of on Dreams side so it makes sense that punz is the only one who Dream would trust, remember Punz has always been loyal to Dream saying it is because he is paid when it is really because he is loyal sees Dream as a friend
@Shorlicorn🦄 yeah true I think sapnap and George would have rattled they are to loyal to quackity like his personal puppets so yeah. also yes Dream didn't want sapnap and George killed so he wouldn't have wanted them in danger.
9:57 this is likely not true since we have seen with Wilbur that Dream could only revive him once he got a hold of Ghostbur. So if Dream had Ranboo kill himself and than test the book on him it wouldn’t make sense since Dream would ahve had no way of getting to Ranboos ghost. But you might be saying that “Tommy didn’t have a ghost when he was revived” witch isn’t actually confirmed. Tommy’s ghost could have apeared in the same room as his body AKA next to Dream than Dream just kills it and revives Tommy.
He literally revived vic and lazar without needing their ghosts, dozens of times. He probably has to register the person or people into a copy to revive them with said copy, but since Wilbur died before dream could register him, he needed ghostbur as a substitute
@@boopinoop4545 Agreed with the main point, but why do people keep saying he revived them several times. He killed them both 3 times, 3 cannon lives. Then he revived them at the end of the video. We have no reason to think he killed them more times.
@@pineappleudh6561 Wrong. Tommy was dead for 3 days. A week was the time he was trapped in prison before he was killed. We also don't know how often Sam visited at this point. Or when a ghost appears. Tommy's ghost could have appeared 2 and a half days in. So "Sam would have seen it" isn't the ultimate crushing argument that disproves my proposal.
WOW that finial theroy with enderboos lives was insane, and I never really thought about the fact that dream could have ranboos 4th book I had my own theroy that the book that techno found with the blueprints could be the 4th book, sence he never hoverd over the title of the book. Then when it was shown that ranboo was the one who placed the blueprint I was more sure of that. However, if dream has ranboos 4th book is it possible that there's a 5th book with enderboos memory's from after the prison visit? Or it the book that technk found somthing diffrent altogether?
Its an interesting theory.... but why would Dream want Techno to have any of Ranboos memory books? Dream is the puppeteer, no need to reveal his hand like that. What do you think?
@@claudiacat4249 that's true, it could be that enderboo never wrote about his connection to dream in that book. And could be using what was there to put seeds of doubt about ranboo into technos mind?
@@velesi_sionnach he does like to spread chaos and doubt amongst his enemies... thats kind of what he is doing, or trying to do, with tommy, make tommy feel like he is insane and distance him from his friends.
i personally believe that enderboo is willingly participating with whatever dream is planning, so i somewhat disagree on the method you suggested regarding his canon deaths. consider this: enderboo is literally ranboo with all of his memories as cc!ranboo confirmed (and im sure you know that already!), but for some reason is unable to exist as he is. instead, his existance is temporary and requires triggering, specifically by a smiley face. it is very much possible that (if we take it a notch into the realm of headcanons) dream is the reason this enderboo-ranboo split personality thing is happening. what do we even know about ranboo? not that much. enderboo knows that he cannot exist for an extended period of time as his own self and uses the memory books to keep his ignorant side ranboo somewhat on the same page. from ranboo's limited perspective tho, dream is manipulating him when he is in enderwalk mode. BUT, what if enderboo with all his memories and ranboo's memories believe he can get something out of dream's plans? he willingly participates in dream's schemes because it somehow reflects a personal benefit. and in my opinion, this benefit is being closer to being whole as a person. it could be that enderboo believes dream can help him become a whole person with all of his memories, and is willing to do anything, including yes giving up his canon deaths during missions, in order to earn dream's help. Or, enderboo's wholeness is tied to dream's plans being successful somehow. it could be that dream is lying to him, or he actually has a way to help him, but however this headcanon goes, i do believe enderboo isn't "controlled" as much as he is willingly doing dream's bidding. the last memory book might have been stolen by dream after realising that ranboo minus the memories isn't the complacent man he used to be and might spoil his plans to the others. but i generally don't believe dream killed enderboo outside of sending him on missions that cost him canon deaths.
OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS SM. i do have a little connection about why the smile would be a trigger too: the way ranboo would normally summon the dream voice would be looking at the unerasable smile in one of the memory books in the panic room, which is made of obsidian and crying obsidian. the dream voice said that its just ranboo but it remembers all the things enderboo did.. so he would just have to be enderboo right? and they both exist after ranboo sees a smile its not really a reason as to why it would be a trigger i just thought it was interesting nice theory/analysis btw its nice to know we came to a similar conclusion :D theres only one thing that might be a little off in the timeline and thats dream realizing the otherhalf state of ranboo wouldnt be trustworthy with the 4th book because back in janurary ranboo was in the panic room and was able to remember some of what dream said when he gave enderboo the disc (cat) and he said that he trusted the enderwalk state of ranboo more than the other state (well those werent his exact words cuz yk the enderwalk stuff havent been brought up yet but itd be really confusing if i said "this state') but it can be explained by him just realizing that the other half state had more power than they thought (but ig that would also be wrong in the timeline because he hadnt started the experiments until 2 months after he was banned from the prison)
I think the smile is kind of like a Pavlov response. Several things can trigger the Enderwalk; it’s a fight or flight instinct, and fear seems to be a major factor. The water, for example, triggers it, and Ranboo would slip into the Enderwalk during Panic Room sessions because he feared what he was discovering. So it’s entirely possible that all the smile triggers a surge of guilt and fear that he’s been conditioned to respond to by Dream, or at least someone who looks like him.
Ok, I remember during one of foolish’s streams he was with dream xd and and dream xd said there are 3 books that have power and only one has been found.(this was during the stream when dream ex gave foolish totem powers)

Hold up here, I need to see this! Oh okay, now we have enough pieces to piece together a picture of what's going on, uh, could someone write out everything that we know is happening and happened in the SMP so that we can keep an accurate map of what's going on.

Yes it is canon and I don’t know why people are still under the assumption that Dream controls him. It’s just not true it’s been debunked over and over again:/
dream doesnt actually control ranboo back in may ranboo did a lore stream where he went to a stronghold and made a lab were he told the particles (chat idk) that he was going to do experiments but what it actually was was a solution to the enderwalk where either it could get rid of it or he would "merge" with it (which he decided not to do), in that stream he said that the enderwalk state was just him with all of his memories. also another explaination as to why sam put ranboo in prison because sam said he thought he knew why ranboo wanted to get put in the prison back in april (which was before techno had even been put in the prison so it would throw the timeline way off if he was put in because of the blueprints), which was right after tommys death, and in the stream ranboo did confronting sam about tommys death sam said that he needed to find out how blew up the top of the prison because they knew tommy would get trapped in the the prison and quote, "wanted him to die", and during the scene in the revival book short where we see the prison broken and stuff we see a shot of someone with invis placing 5 pieces of tnt and then blowing it up, but when they light it you can see the texture underneath and its obsidian, not crying obsidian, just obisidian, and one of the only buildings with an obisidian roof which would have significance? the prison. (and also the only other people online during the explosion besides sam dream and tommy were ranboo and foolish but yk) also in the lessons ranboo says that the lessons book was the fourth book, as well as enderwalk ranboo would have no reason to write a memory book if he is ranboo with all his memories (quote, "every single one") althought it is an interesting way of looking at it when you think about how ghostbur didnt remember the things that wilbur did while wilbur could remember both things he did and things ghostbur did, like how ranboo can remember things he does in the other half state but not things he does in the enderwalk state but the enderwalk state can remember both sides (we know this because of the every single one line and because in the stream where ranboo finds tnt in the panic room the dream voice says and i quote, "well you helped techno surive lmanburg" meaning he snitched about the date and plan and also because tommy only told one person about his underground room with items which happened to be ranboo and right after dream happened to find it, like no way was that a coincidence)
Thank you for saying that Dream cannot control ranboo it’s just. Oh my god why are people still operating under this idea it’s been disproven so many times
@@oakland7561 like after we found out that they talked daily the theory should have been considered less likely and then once we found out ranboo was in the enderwalk state during the finale where dream was put in the prison it should have been almost completely thrown out the window and then once it was outright stated that the enderwalk state wasnt dream controlling ranboo then it shouldve been written off as a misconcesption, not a theory people still believe to this day-
I dont know for sure but I guess functionally immortal because if he was unkillable then we probably wouldnt have been told that he has one life, we would either be told that he has infinite or we wouldnt be told at all if that makes sense
@@breadfrommars well yes but he has even said on his stream my character doesn't know how old he is also because he thinks his character has been around sometime he doesn't know about time and days hence why he thought techno said three months instead of three days and he has said my character doesn't know if he is immortal he just knows he has been around for a long time
The only thing wrong with this theory is that it's been confirmed that Ranboo is not being controlled by dream. The enderwalk is it's own thing. He's just working with dream for some reason.
Personally I doubt very much that Punz knows how the book works, Dream is very sensitive with the information in the book (after all it is the only thing that keeps him alive) I don't think he told Punz. In part of the video when Dream revives Vik and Lazar, you can see that Dream is alone, I imagine that he told Punz to leave. Although that doesn't mean that Punz has an idea of how it works. Also, the first time I saw the video I thought that the reason why they were killed so many times was to take away their 3 lives, I counted them and each one did die 3 times each, it's strange that they were killed in different ways, but theory is good :)
This is SO cool! Great job Mr.Animagician! I'm loving the new expressions and hand gestures as well! Now, when's the funeral for Boomerville, and am I invited?
*Oh pleaseeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaassssssssssseeeeeeee* a funeral? Ghostbur almost didn't get a grave . AND YOU EXPECT A FUNERAL. No one knows they are even dead..... That's depressing
my friends used to say "why are you crying it's just teens/adults playing Minecraft" well is it now this as twisted and complicated as FNAF and I am lowkey scared
Adding on to Punz knowing the revival book, I think that was on purpose, my reason being, every villan has a backup plan. When Dream first told everyone he had the revival book, he was threatened to be killed, and if Dream planned everything with Punz, that means Dream could have told Punz that in case Tommy did kill him there, Punz could revive him. I also love the theory about how Ranboo lost his first 2 lives.
c!Ranboo being everyone's test subject is such a sad (not sad is in bad, just poor dude) theory, however I never got the impression that c!Ranboo is under c!Dream's control, just that they are allies and c!Ranboo is a product of his Enderwalk, who is actualized, having compartmentalized actions from his memories in some sort of way. c!Ranboo is a cunning opportunist that agrees with c!Dream's goal, but without his memories, he's a sleeper agent until woken up. Watching the shulker box negotiations with Foolish was the best example of how shrewd he can be. That c!Ranboo visited the prison multiple times and was allowed to bring his memory book and leave with one, something that could have been easily been traded or swapped if written in the End language and overlooked by c!Sam. We still don't know why c!Ranboo was at the Red Banquet and what state of mind he was in while there. Or how and why he ended up working for c!Wilbur, someone who calls c!Dream his hero, and is close to c!Tommy. Speculating can be fun sometimes.
we do know what state he was in while at the red banquet due to him not remembering being there or the events that took place and needing it to be explained to him by sam after the fact. hes likely close to tommy to spy on him because during the exhile arc him and phil (oh and ghostbur but he was kinda there the whole time so) were the only people allowed to visit tommy, and when tommy made his underground items room he told ranboo about it and soon after dream blew it up, and also when he followed ghostbur to technos house and then like a day later dream went to technos house to investigate and i assume ranboo working with wilbur was a byproduct of him trying to keep a close eye on wilbur, because in his stream after wilbur got revived he said he needed to make sure that wilbur actually changed to protect tubbo, so id assume because of his dislike of las nevadas and wanting to be close to wilbur he accidently ended up working for him, but thats just my guess im not 100% sure
I love lore on its own no matter the fandom (or whatever you call it) but dream SMP lore? That’s one of my favorites especially when Ani is the one explaining it!
Thats a big theory indeed good job, could you later talk about eryn and connor?, i feel that these two will have a big rol later in the lore but thats just a sugestion, sorry for bad english
Well, I can think of one death method that wouldn't be functionally able to be brought back. As we know from Wilbur and Tommy, as well as the video, that when someone is brought back to life, they are brought back exactly where they died. But there is one place where if you died that way, being brought back would be meaningless. The Void. And while the only legitimate way to get there is The End, it is still possible to break bedrock with glitches.
Now we know how william afton never dies in a fire! He just has a reviel book on him! Yes I just did an FANF comment on a minecraft vid and yes afton was bruned alive a total of three times now WTF.
u see , they might be plotting to destroy a country , or a settlement(snowchester, kinoko kingdom) and las nevadas 1- Las Nevadas- cannot be invaded cause u will need technos power and techno wants the blood of quackity 2 - Snowchester- Ranboo has conecctions there but kinoko kingdom has Nightmare(dreams armour) karl and sapnap (really weird ppl to dream and sapnap kinda betrayed dream) next stream-The Fall Of Kinoko Kingdom
A theory that I was thinking of is that Dream wasn't just testing the revival part of the book, but whether he can alter the person getting revived. Essentially, controlling the person getting revived. That's how I think Ranboo is controlled by Dream, he has memory issues when stressed and Dream took advantage of that, as his experiments would be hidden. This leads into Dream's goal from the start of the SMP, controlling Tommy. If Dream was to control Tommy he could essentially control the server by controlling the side that opposed him. It gives a whole new meaning to Tommy waking up underwater during the exile arc, and Tommy visiting Dream in prison. Tommy even gave Dream Ghostbur in an attempt to kill him, despite Dream telling Tommy that he will revive Wilbur. It's a scary theory, the thought that Tommy might not be as free of Dream's influence as he thinks he is.
Oh this is so well done! I do this stuff for outsiders smp but my stuff is much less professionally produced. Your a huge inspiration for me thank you so much!
My only questions are: If the revival book can bring back any lifeform from the dead, then can items be brought back due to multiple versions of the revival book being thrown into the lava of the prison? It's far-fetched but what if the 4th memory book survived the lava and someone found it? Also, what if someone finds Ranboo's memory books (not the 4th one) and tries to confront Ghostboo about it. How would he react to the topic and what if he reveals something about the 4th book?
Oi, i just realized they somehow got ned rods to build the facility, that could mean he somehow got chorus fruit, or went to the end? Possible that ranboo can teleport to the End?
Dream should use niki, Hear me out! Niki doesn't have many allies of the server, (7 I beleive) so not many people would know. She could also be used as leverage to get techno to do things in order to protect her, he's already lost ranboo and wouldn't want to lost her aswell.
One thing to take into account. When Wil died, he became a happy ghost with no memory of his past life, other than his friendship with tommy. When Quackity talked to Jschlatt, he talked about the revival book like it had been vaguely described to him in legends, not like it was a book that won him support from a powerful ally during war. Yet Ranboo? he says he was scared of death , and now he's free from that stress. Either the more time you spend as a ghost, the less you remember your past life, or ranboo is different. Also, why was there no tommy ghost when he died? When willbur was in limbo, there was still ghostboo
A request? If you're going to put notes on screen, can you let them stay up for more than 2 seconds, please? I don't even have time to pause the video so I can read it, and trying to backtrack a second at a time to find the one moment it was up gets very, very tedious.
I was thinking about the Void. The revival book is unable to revive the Void, and thus, when the end is eventually allowed (because we all know that’s going to happen some season) the revival book becomes obsolete to the void. Or, the destruction of bedrock in the overworks. Still, I think the Void is interesting.
I do really like the idea of maybe the egg being controlled with everything going on but I have a really hard time believing that since it really hasn’t been brought up for months and it seems to have been neutralized and also during antfrosts lore stream he doesn’t seem controlled and bad doesn’t ethier so I dunno I just think that dream is indeed the mastermind behind this whole thing and that he isn’t being controlled by the egg because firstly he hasn’t even be near it also even tho yes bad ant and punz could be disguised I really don’t think that’s possible since when we saw bad on puffys stream which was a while ago but u can find that bad profusion sly apologies and it’s very clear he’s not apart of the eggs control anymore
Kinda think that falling into the void would be permanent cause every other time someone dies the body would still be there (like the body can withstand three canon deaths before dying permanently (thats why the scars and wounds from earlyer deaths are still a part of the body (like Tubbos firework scars) )and every time someone dies they get their old body back) and Tommy and Wilburs bodys seem to be changed after being revieved (like the whole white streak in my hair but no stress now thing which can't be old age from limbo cause tommy wasn't dead for that long etc.) so Dream put them back into the body that originally didn't have any strenght left to funktion. And if the body falls into the void you can't really get it back to revive someone. Idk if it really makes sense and if I'm forgetting some lore but I thought of it and yeah idk
Theory. My Theory is Dream messed up when he killed Lazer & Vik see when people go to limbo they retain their memories in limbo so my Theory is Lazer or vik will tell ranboo or anyone in limbo about the rival book this has some holes but it makes sense. See this could be the gate way to the end of the season but who will be told that's for us to find out.
Hey about the theory of Ramboo’s lives being connected to the revival book, what if it only matters if they have been dead for longer than , let’s say an hour? It would explain why the people who died a lot didn’t need a life, but Wilbur and Tommy did. Just a thought
5:37 When someone is revived, they come back where they dyed (EG Wilbur). So what if they die in the void? I think if there is a method of killing that you cant be revived from, it would be the void, not lightning.
im here from your multiple hollow knight comments, im not involved in the dreamsmp at all but this video has very nice editing and cinematic shots, and as someone who knows nothing about the dreamsmp, this was very easy to follow and understand!
thought I might as well add, Dream XD says to foolish in one of his streams that he was inspired by deathnote and wanted to have some fun, so he knew the book could be used a bunch. He also nonchalantly said there there is another book out there lol. I am curious about the reason Dream XD gave for looking like Dream. He just said that Dream was the first human he saw. (Dream's an immoral?) Also the Dream Ranboo Revive theory is awesome
This theory is so cool but it’s a bit upsetting because it kills my head cannon that dreams needs a body or a spirit of some sort to revive people. I kinda just thought this because up until now he hasn’t ever revived anyone without being near their body and that would also explain why he needed Ghostbur to visit the prison to revive him.
Another egg connection that I though of is that Ranboo could be directly connected because we don’t know what his other half is, and obviously there’s been situations like at the Red Banquet where Ranboo was sneaking around for no particular reason (I think lol) I don't know if this was mentioned in other videos yet sorry I kinda forgot! :P
Actually it's likely that the nametags weren't rendered for dramatic effect. I think Vikk and Lazar are gonna be a lot more involved in the plot since lazar was in Tommy's recent video.
These vids r so gud u explain everything....i didnt understand why dream was going into lava in the prison and also didnt get what dream meant by saying "if u die and then ur revived...did u ever really die in the first place"
@@Ani The Ranboo theory (along with Dream throwing himself into lava) is extremely clever I don’t understand how people like you notice these details and come up with these assumptions. But now that I think about it the creators of the Storyline when theories are confirmed to be true also had to think of those plots and events aswell which is very impressive. And that’s the main reason I love the dream smp, many people consider it cringe because of fans most of the time but the storyline and events are very much to be admired.

YAS! I love how sinister this character is! This is something I've actually been thinking about for a longggggggggggggg time. But I needed more puzzle pieces to find the picture.
My theory is Philza is not a normal person, he never said he was born. Maybe the Goddess of death made an angel so beautiful that she herself fell in love with it and as we all know angels can die but they are pretty much immortal and Philza is on one life for eons. Now for Technoblade he might be some sort of Guard or the chariot of death who craves for blood and he and Philza are friends for very long time so Technoblade might be sort of immortal Blood God.

the only time that technoblade shows his real emotions is when he is in the heat of the battle, when he sees ranboo die in front of his eyes, or if phil gets chased by a baby zombie I LOVE IT
Okay, what if one of, if not the only way to die without possibility of revival is the void? It’d certainly help explain why DreamXD doesn’t let players into the end dimension, on top of all the other possible reasons.
There is also apparently a second book hidden somewhere. DreamXD told foolish about it. It would be more interesting Lore wise, if this book has infinite lives, why use ranboos? There was no real reason.. Unless dream planned everything and WANTED Ranboo dead, maybe to get to techno, even though that clearly would have failed.
@@chrisyoung7662
Agreed, though if the book does use other people's lives (and especially if it requires some other steps) then that leaves dream in an interesting position, faking that he can revive anyone when in reality he's much more limited.
@@pineappleudh6561 Agreed, very few people (Involved in lore) have more than 1 life, eventually, everyone will get down to 1 and dream wouldn't be able to use it any further
Ranboo actually confirmed that he only had one canon life the whole time and that he had that idea for a while
@@krakitty123 shhhhh
I don’t know about George, but I know for sure that Sapnap is against Dream. Oh and also Sapnap and Tommy teamed together to take Dream down iirc
@@justasleepysnowflake yeah, the only person loyal to Dream was punz after the destruction of manburg that is why it was punz
@Shorlicorn🦄 yeah true I think sapnap and George would have rattled they are to loyal to quackity like his personal puppets so yeah. also yes Dream didn't want sapnap and George killed so he wouldn't have wanted them in danger.
@@ct8670
Now he's gonna kill them himself:)
@@boopinoop4545
Agreed with the main point, but why do people keep saying he revived them several times.
He killed them both 3 times, 3 cannon lives.
Then he revived them at the end of the video.
We have no reason to think he killed them more times.
Also to the original commenter, Sam would have noticed the ghost.
Tommy was dead for a week, there was no where to hide the ghost in the cell.
@@boopinoop4545 Prove there wasn't a ghost.
Facts are that we don't see a lot and there could or could not have been ghosts.
WOW that finial theroy with enderboos lives was insane, and I never really thought about the fact that dream could have ranboos 4th book
I had my own theroy that the book that techno found with the blueprints could be the 4th book, sence he never hoverd over the title of the book.
Hello again Ani! Loving the new gestures!
Same here, they are awesome.
i personally believe that enderboo is willingly participating with whatever dream is planning, so i somewhat disagree on the method you suggested regarding his canon deaths. consider this: enderboo is literally ranboo with all of his memories as cc!ranboo confirmed (and im sure you know that already!), but for some reason is unable to exist as he is. instead, his existance is temporary and requires triggering, specifically by a smiley face. it is very much possible that (if we take it a notch into the realm of headcanons) dream is the reason this enderboo-ranboo split personality thing is happening. what do we even know about ranboo? not that much. enderboo knows that he cannot exist for an extended period of time as his own self and uses the memory books to keep his ignorant side ranboo somewhat on the same page. from ranboo's limited perspective tho, dream is manipulating him when he is in enderwalk mode.
OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS SM.
i do have a little connection about why the smile would be a trigger too: the way ranboo would normally summon the dream voice would be looking at the unerasable smile in one of the memory books in the panic room, which is made of obsidian and crying obsidian. the dream voice said that its just ranboo but it remembers all the things enderboo did.. so he would just have to be enderboo right? and they both exist after ranboo sees a smile
its not really a reason as to why it would be a trigger i just thought it was interesting
nice theory/analysis btw its nice to know we came to a similar conclusion :D
theres only one thing that might be a little off in the timeline and thats dream realizing the otherhalf state of ranboo wouldnt be trustworthy with the 4th book because back in janurary ranboo was in the panic room and was able to remember some of what dream said when he gave enderboo the disc (cat) and he said that he trusted the enderwalk state of ranboo more than the other state (well those werent his exact words cuz yk the enderwalk stuff havent been brought up yet but itd be really confusing if i said "this state')
but it can be explained by him just realizing that the other half state had more power than they thought (but ig that would also be wrong in the timeline because he hadnt started the experiments until 2 months after he was banned from the prison)

Wasn't it canon that ranboo in enderwalk is just ranboo with his memories on?
Yes it is canon and I don’t know why people are still under the assumption that Dream controls him. It’s just not true it’s been debunked over and over again:/
dream doesnt actually control ranboo
back in may ranboo did a lore stream where he went to a stronghold and made a lab were he told the particles (chat idk) that he was going to do experiments but what it actually was was a solution to the enderwalk where either it could get rid of it or he would "merge" with it (which he decided not to do), in that stream he said that the enderwalk state was just him with all of his memories.
also another explaination as to why sam put ranboo in prison because sam said he thought he knew why ranboo wanted to get put in the prison back in april (which was before techno had even been put in the prison so it would throw the timeline way off if he was put in because of the blueprints), which was right after tommys death, and in the stream ranboo did confronting sam about tommys death sam said that he needed to find out how blew up the top of the prison because they knew tommy would get trapped in the the prison and quote, "wanted him to die", and during the scene in the revival book short where we see the prison broken and stuff we see a shot of someone with invis placing 5 pieces of tnt and then blowing it up, but when they light it you can see the texture underneath and its obsidian, not crying obsidian, just obisidian, and one of the only buildings with an obisidian roof which would have significance? the prison. (and also the only other people online during the explosion besides sam dream and tommy were ranboo and foolish but yk)
also in the lessons ranboo says that the lessons book was the fourth book, as well as enderwalk ranboo would have no reason to write a memory book if he is ranboo with all his memories (quote, "every single one") althought it is an interesting way of looking at it when you think about how ghostbur didnt remember the things that wilbur did while wilbur could remember both things he did and things ghostbur did, like how ranboo can remember things he does in the other half state but not things he does in the enderwalk state but the enderwalk state can remember both sides (we know this because of the every single one line and because in the stream where ranboo finds tnt in the panic room the dream voice says and i quote, "well you helped techno surive lmanburg" meaning he snitched about the date and plan and also because tommy only told one person about his underground room with items which happened to be ranboo and right after dream happened to find it, like no way was that a coincidence)
This is so good. Gonna leave a comment if this came true, or to add something later :D

Somebody count how many different theories and plot points were explained in this video, because it was just insane. You have outdone yourself Ani
You’re the reason I’m still into dsmp lore these videos make it so much more interesting :O
c!Ranboo being everyone's test subject is such a sad (not sad is in bad, just poor dude) theory, however I never got the impression that c!Ranboo is under c!Dream's control, just that they are allies and c!Ranboo is a product of his Enderwalk, who is actualized, having compartmentalized actions from his memories in some sort of way. c!Ranboo is a cunning opportunist that agrees with c!Dream's goal, but without his memories, he's a sleeper agent until woken up.
I'm not crying-
we do know what state he was in while at the red banquet due to him not remembering being there or the events that took place and needing it to be explained to him by sam after the fact. hes likely close to tommy to spy on him because during the exhile arc him and phil (oh and ghostbur but he was kinda there the whole time so) were the only people allowed to visit tommy, and when tommy made his underground items room he told ranboo about it and soon after dream blew it up, and also when he followed ghostbur to technos house and then like a day later dream went to technos house to investigate
and i assume ranboo working with wilbur was a byproduct of him trying to keep a close eye on wilbur, because in his stream after wilbur got revived he said he needed to make sure that wilbur actually changed to protect tubbo, so id assume because of his dislike of las nevadas and wanting to be close to wilbur he accidently ended up working for him, but thats just my guess im not 100% sure
Yes new videooo

The last theory was crazy. The enderboo being a test subject just makes a lot of sense. Thanks for another great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!

1- Las Nevadas- cannot be invaded cause u will need technos power and techno wants the blood of quackity
2 - Snowchester- Ranboo has conecctions there
but kinoko kingdom has Nightmare(dreams armour) karl and sapnap (really weird ppl to dream and sapnap kinda betrayed dream)
next stream-The Fall Of Kinoko Kingdom
I really like the theory!!!
But I think the books were added by Sam. ( I don't think it really changes anything, it's just an interesting detail:))
11:12
something is odd
ranboo: ahh im alive, oh why am i burning?
4:14 the 'whoosh' scared me ;-;
Oh this is so well done! I do this stuff for outsiders smp but my stuff is much less professionally produced. Your a huge inspiration for me thank you so much!
My only questions are:
If the revival book can bring back any lifeform from the dead, then can items be brought back due to multiple versions of the revival book being thrown into the lava of the prison?
She could also be used as leverage to get techno to do things in order to protect her, he's already lost ranboo and wouldn't want to lost her aswell.
hold on this was one of the best theory vids I have ever seen on TH-cam bro
You are insane!- In all the best ways! :D Your last theory makes so much sense, amazing job!
Glad you think so!
I love the Ranboo theory, it just makes so much sense!

Rest in peace
I don't even have time to pause the video so I can read it, and trying to backtrack a second at a time to find the one moment it was up gets very, very tedious.
idk why but i think that the place where dream and puz killed lazar and vik is tubbos cookie shop thing before quackity asked him to join las nevadas
Wasn't Hbomb part of boomerville at one point. He could have noticed if they went missing!
And I admit I forgot the whole burning in lava thing... Whuups
I think that "he's old" but is just an ongoing joke from the "yknow when he/I" bit that I think Quackity and Phil did on Twitter last year
The lighting theory may not work as tommy was hit by lighting but he didnt lose a live

With the revive book people respawn where htey die... so what if you die in the void?
"This thing has near limitless power and you just drop it?"
Death note.

When someone is revived, they come back where they dyed (EG Wilbur).

This could also have connections to the in between, there are always wither roses above the notes in the in between
This theory is so cool but it’s a bit upsetting because it kills my head cannon that dreams needs a body or a spirit of some sort to revive people. I kinda just thought this because up until now he hasn’t ever revived anyone without being near their body and that would also explain why he needed Ghostbur to visit the prison to revive him.
Another egg connection that I though of is that Ranboo could be directly connected because we don’t know what his other half is, and obviously there’s been situations like at the Red Banquet where Ranboo was sneaking around for no particular reason (I think lol)
I don't know if this was mentioned in other videos yet sorry I kinda forgot! :P

Actually it's likely that the nametags weren't rendered for dramatic effect. I think Vikk and Lazar are gonna be a lot more involved in the plot since lazar was in Tommy's recent video.

Dreamxd dropping the revival book reminds me of ryuk dropping his deathnote
My theory is Philza is not a normal person, he never said he was born. Maybe the Goddess of death made an angel so beautiful that she herself fell in love with it and as we all know angels can die but they are pretty much immortal and Philza is on one life for eons. Now for Technoblade he might be some sort of Guard or the chariot of death who craves for blood and he and Philza are friends for very long time so Technoblade might be sort of immortal Blood God.

Love this! It also makes me curious about the second book that DreamXD dropped...
The 2nd part of the video (where he starts talking about the prison and Ranboo and stuff), where's that from?
the only time that technoblade shows his real emotions is when he is in the heat of the battle, when he sees ranboo die in front of his eyes, or if phil gets chased by a baby zombie I LOVE IT
Love the idea
Okay, what if one of, if not the only way to die without possibility of revival is the void? It’d certainly help explain why DreamXD doesn’t let players into the end dimension, on top of all the other possible reasons.
There is also apparently a second book hidden somewhere. DreamXD told foolish about it. He said how there were 2 books in the world but one has been found(the revival book) But we have no idea what it does ..
Does anyone know if foolish has told anyone that there is a second book? Or if he has even begun looking for the book?
Now I really wanna hear your theories on the death book, which Sapnap found in his recent lore stream
currently working on a video about just that!
ok ok- after watching this video I saw dreams 2 min lore snipbit again, and noticed endrods?!? Idk where to go with this but fiugered I should put it out there for those who missed it
I am new to the dsmp if you could explain the WHOLE dsmp lore start to end it would really help :)
i really like the theories but the theory that c!dream put the lectern in the prison is false. in c!sam’s interaction with c!dream he says that c!dream didn’t even want to give the prisoners books
