I understand this, but I have a major question, didn't the egg say that it's older than foolish himself? Since it knows foolish and other members of the smp? I am a bit confused how the egg knew foolish was a God of Death.

This theory makes a lot of sense, but to be honest, I don't think that the egg will hatch into another Dream/Dreamon. Personally, I think that it'll hatch into an Ender Drago- wait. Hold on. So. If the manhunts are canon to the dream smp, then Dream is canonically a Dreamon during the manhunts. My theory is this: Ender Dragons are matured Dreamons, and an Ender Dragon is going to hatch from the egg. It kind of makes sense, as well: if the Egg is absorbing life force so that it can hatch, and it hatches into an Ender Dragon, a matured Dreamon, then maybe Dream is a Dreamon that hatched before he was ready, and he's going around, killing Ender Dragons to absorb their potent life force until he can eventually become a Dragon himself. This theory is probably easily disprovable, but maybe I'm not crazy and it'll be right?

for me I like the theory of eggvelvet, basically Velvet is inside the egg, thats why skeppy wants to hangout with the egg more its because Velvet has been there alone and wants a friend , Its wholesome, makes you forget the real story of the egg lore
You know if they haven't wrote that part of the script yet, then you're basically giving em ideas
You have made two out of the three connections. But you are also missing the fact that the enderwalk voice isn't Dream. (Also, you've talked about the importance of wither roses before, but if the Tales of the SMP symbol for the egg is a white tulip, why is there a wither rose right next to it in the Masquerade?)
The enderwalk voice isn't Dream himself. It is a voice in Ranboo's head trying to make him wake up from the enderwalk. The voice in Ranboo's head isn't trying to harm Ranboo it is trying to make him aware that someone is controlling him when he's enderwalking. The reason why the voice on Ranboo's head sounds like Dream is because during enderwalks Ranboo only talks to Dream therefore the only voice it can mimic is Dream's. The voice is making Ranboo aware of what he has done, hoping that Ranboo himself would try to find a way to fix everything. But the voice or the enderwalk Ranboo is scared of Dream that's why it's always going back to saying "don't tell anyone" to Ranboo, while also hoping that Ranboo would notice that they both need to escape from Dream
Also about the wither rose. I think that the wither rose is Dream's sign and the white tulip is the egg's sign.... I think the in between is controlled by Dream while the other side is controlled by the egg... The egg is evil so is Dream... It's more like both are just competing who could get as much energy from Karl. The Egg who's more ancient and much more experienced in the situation would know that it's smart to not take all of Karl's energy but Dream who is new to the powers would try and take Karl's energy in one go... This is only a theory tho 😂😂
@@EllieKai0623 Both very interesting conclusions you have drawn. Though, they were to be expected. You still view Dream as evil. There is much evidence otherwise, but it is what Dream wants Tommy, and by extension you, to think. I will be making a few videos to explain my theories, the first of which will hopefully come out in November. I hope you will be willing to listen to the voice of a fellow theorist.
@@mire_of_stars2524 Dream's actions on the start of the series is merely him trying to unite everyone. However during the final, where he said he would kill Tubbo, that's where the line is drawn. Dream's actions might be justified before but after he got the revivebook he got corrupted and now all that he thinks about is power over people

Hope it's not the second, or else the Egg might have actually been telling Tommy to make the others curse and Tommy might not even have immunity against it, the Egg could control him into saying that he is immune to the Egg.

Another point to this there is that the obsidian that trapped the egg eventually turned to crying obsidian before being absorbed into the egg, and what do you know, dreams cell is partially crying obsidian.
My personal theory(which is very unrealistic) is that if the egg hatches mythrodak will join the sever and will try to completely canonlly kill every one on the dream smp. Like he said in is first video.
Imagine he joins inside of the Egg in the Egg's new containment chamber thingy built by Sam and Mythro has to escape it
I have a theory on ranboo, he’s half dreamon this would explain the voice and the enderwalking, the voice is the dreamon half talking to him and the enderwalking is the dreamon half of him
The only problem with this theory, Is Ranboo doesn't know what to do with his lore.

If Dream is actually connected to the egg, shouldn't he know about it and if so then why was he curious about it when he first found it and didn't remember it when Bad mentioned it when he visited Dream? I might be wrong!

I think the ranboo being part of the egg lore is really smart because canonically he says he doesn't know what other hybrid part he is along with enderman. I'm hoping the egg comes back for a finale.

Warning this Comment is a bit long.
I kinda disagree with this theory a little bit cause Dream seem to not know much about the egg other than seeing it. In fact I believe the egg is actually a old god trap in this form because what other powerful being can kill a god of death (which Foolish said it is impossible to lose a life and his powers were blocked). In fact the egg seem that it doesn’t need it missing pieces as seen from Tommy and it seem the main reason he was chased was because of his immunity. Also there is one good reason I believe Tommy could be immune. He is the egg, no he isn’t that aware or made of vines but he have some of the egg in his dna. Since his origin was that he was made in a a lab to be a perfect human (almost like he was made to be a perfect weapon) what also make sense is his favorite color is red. In fact Dream could know that Tommy create attachments like the egg could promise people something. Also I found something interesting people either felt hatred or kind to the egg. In the SMP I notice a lot of people are in those for Tommy they are fine with him or hate him. It would make sense why unlike everyone (I mean everyone even Ranboo cause I believe he mention he felt the egg and he seem to connect more to Dream than with the egg). And what make more sense is the longer you spent with the egg the more you feel good about the egg. And who spent the longest with Tommy. Dream seem to spend with Tommy in exile for two years (it mentions that he was stuck there with him) that would make someone truly obsessive with someone.
Summary: Dream and Ranboo are not that much connected with the egg and it seem that Tommy is because of lab experiments. Sorry for the long comment.

OooooOooo. If The egg knew what everyone wanted, Techno's will comes to mind where he tells Tommy he hopes he finds what he's looking for. I missed a lot of the Eggpire lore, but I think even after it exploded, it still didn't die. So maybe in the future the egg will make a reappearance, and Tommy could be tempted to find what he wants with the egg's help.
(Since I mostly watch Tommy's POV, my thinking is based more around his character, so forgive me)

My take is that the Egg is a part of the God of Destruction, a shattered fragment that seeks to only bring about destruction, end everything, and evil steryotype big bad guy.
(This comes from my fanfic, Convergence of the SMPs. Yes, I got the Egg tied into the lore of a fanfic with Hermitcraft and the Dream SMP being bridged together.)

Dream said he wanted to go to the court and I have 2 thoughts
1 being that Dream wants to escape and feels like he has enough power to take over the smp
2 is maybe cause he is feeling the evil urge and wants to get out as soon as possible (seems very unlikely)
Maybe because he doesn't want the egg to hatch again so it won't destroy him.
Imagine if Dream got control of the Egg instead of the Egg controlling him, showing and proving that Dream is indeed a powerful threat.

Ok im using this in my fanfict. Its basically a book abt a dragon hybrid hatching out of the egg and that is who the main character is. She has all of the eggs power. She can control the bloodvines, fully mind control people, tieing back into ani's theroy of control over Karls time travel and of course due to her dragon half she can fly. But with this theroy now im think she is like the eggs heir in a sort. Because dream cant be controled by the egg and isnt activly spreading its corruption, it needs a new embodiment, one that will spread its corruption and try and rule the server with the eggs power. It would also be kinda cool if they were related somehow. You feed my creative brain ani thank u

Wait u forgot to tell the fact about ranboo's Panic Room- is made of obsidian, and if he really is controlled by dream and the egg, Then alot of things would be explained like why the panic room was a supposed to be a comfort room for Ranboo... And when he used it againts dream Probably it was his dream side which told him that he was a traitor. And the egg is related to karls time travelling (Like in ur previous theory) which could probably be the other side of ranboo- THE OTHER SIDE OF RANBOO LOL
But yeah- Mabye that is why Ranboo was more easily manipulated by Wilbur-

i’d always assumes the egg would hatch into the red dragon, a mob that was going to be in minecraft but never ended up in the game in the end. red egg. dragons hatch from eggs. the egg is red. but that seemed very straightforward so rather not assume that was what it was

This is an interesting theory! Which very well may be what the "world altering event" Dream was talking about when he announced the new season of the DSMP! I really hope we see more of the egg now that Dream escaped and everything is slowly going to shit.

the egg is a hive mind that infects and corrupts everything around it, like the mind flayer from stranger things or the cube from fortnite or the alien from the movie color from outer space. but i believe the egg has some demonic like properties. for example bad confirmed the egg needs to grow and for it to do that it needs energy and it gets that energy when people die near it, that is literally blood sacrificing or soul absorbing. the egg also has the power to take or the minds of anyone, which makes the it the most dangerous thing on the server, more dangerous that dream. and as already confirmed the egg has the power to mutate things like the pig turning into contact upon contact with the egg. I also thing the egg is a living sentient thing, because of the things it tells its servants to do like make a pseudo government also anyone effected by it feels the need to protect it or serve it however they can. the egg is problebly wants all the energy to well obviously hatch, to its true form. and since techno carries most of the eggs power i think he will be the key to defeating it once, and for all.

I think the egg is still there bc the egg is blast resistant (when Philza tries to tnt it) and was just vines and controled bbh and ant to move it and they didn’t know about it bc they lose their memories of it and let them go so that people think its gone forever.

So after seeing this I have to agree that dream is related to the egg
But I think we can go even further with this
Warning this really isn't 100% solid in any way so just suspend your disbelief for a moment.
In order to understand my crack pot theory you have to look at the least explored parts of dreams lore
First Dreamons: So a long while before current events tubbo and fundy did a stream where they "Hunted Dreamons" which were possessing dream. Fundy also got badboyhalo to make a base for him and tubbo to hunt dreamons that base would eventually become the location of the egg. Eventually Fundy performed an exorcist on dream which banished the dreamon.
Also in a stream with puffy fundy actively called the egg a DREAMON.
So yeah dream and the egg are undeniably connected but here's what I'd like to suggest the egg is merely like a host for which dream's dreamon acts like a paracite.
Look at tales from the smp where we see the egg as this small thing that really is only concerned about its own survival and using Sir billiam to feed it.
But then years later after dreams little exorcism it acts very differently for starters when it shows up first on the smp it isn't to different from in tfsmp size wize but soon grows much much bigger which I have ask why?
Why did it grow so much faster in a few months than it did in assumably decades?
Is it perhaps becocause something is now strengthening it?
Also its motives in tftsmp it again doesn't really seem to care about anything but its own survival but now after the dreamon possess it it's motives are well dreams seriously.
They both use manipulation to bring unity and order and gain some level of control, they both promise people things that they don't really seem to actually care about fulfilling.
So the egg is really just this gross exaggeration of dream which is very scary.
I mean if the egg ever did hatch between that and ender walk ranboo well we thought 1 dream was bad.
If you ask me I think what is gonna come out of the egg it whatever RanBoo’s over half is,I mean think about it Red is the eggs signature color,and the egg sucks the red out of things making it White,so if you think about it….

I think the technoblade theory is also true because if the egg has been around for a long time you could say that after traveling for so long techno finally reaches the dream smp land and since techno’s upload schedule (before cancer) is so bad he could’ve been in this sleep walk state. Just my terrible theory :/

I believe personally that the egg will hatch into the beast stalked the nether in the early days of minecraft itself, the nether dragon(yes that's a real thing) the blocks the egg are made up of are all from the nether, and obsidian trapped it and stopped its influence, obsidian portals is what let beings in and out of the nether meaning obsidian is what kept the nether dragon trapped but can also set it free
