@@shadows5499 thank you so so much. Hope you had a chance to check out some of other videos too!
Bruh, what's the music in the ad from??? Haruhi maybe? I know I've heard it lol.
Man i remember this season from my childhood so vividly. In the regular season if it was a close game down the stretch, there was a feeling of absolute certainty that Kobe was going to get us a W. I don't even know if other fan bases know what that feeling is like cuz its so intangible and illogical. I went to my first playoff game that year vs OKC and will never forget watching game 7 vs boston. Spent the whole 3 hours stressed as hell before losing my shit at artest choosing to shoot that 3.
A wonderful season. 730 must watch TV.
As a life-long suns fan born and raised in AZ (29 years old), I can say the feeling was the same on the other side.. It was one of things about Kobe that was special, and i haven't seen it since. In the goat conversation, people always bring up hit shot attempts and efficiency, but at the end of the game, i always felt like if Kobe got the shot off (no matter how difficult/contorted it was), it had a 75% chance of going in and it was SCARY.
The closest person in todays game for me personally, is probably Luka, but the feeling just isn't quite the same.
Well said. In sports, only Kobe and Jordan ever made me feel this way. Also Tom Brady but I wasn’t a fan lol
Damian lillard as a blazers fan
Awesome video, Wu. This 2009-10 season from Kobe was one for the ages. One other extremely important point was how Kobe played a bulk of the regular season and entire postseason with that broken right index finger. He played with a splint and adjusted his shooting to overcome this and win that coveted 5th ring.
If you watched this live and you were in your formative years, it’d be tough to not see Kobe as a 🐐
would argue if kobe won a bit more which he had a chance after 2010 he might have been.
I watched a lot of these games. Not the greatest of all time in my opinion. Kobe missed a lot of shots, forced a lot of shots, missed a lot of passes and pissed off a lot of teammates
not many channels on youtube don’t have this much love put into their videos. best video yet WU
Thank you so much
I remember this season so vividly. I graduated high school the year prior. Kobe was absolutely unbelievable.
Got to watch Kobe in his final season when he played against the pistons, nearly had a triple double and hit 2 clutch 3s. The fans made it feel like was watching a playoff game
man just looking back at 2010 i was in grade 2 but man just remember all those memories of kobe in the finals with the celtics good times
Bro this feels like a youtube video with like 100k views but it only has like 500
It just got uploaded..
Easily hes a goat in the making
Thank you for acknowledging Kobe's greatness. You and Skap Attack are just a handful of TH-camrs that keep defending and reminding people of the greatness of Kobe.
Subbed. 💯
This is why watching it happen live is so important. One cannot understand the magnitude of such. Basically, if you're under 25, you don't understand how great Kobe was.
the thing about stats that people don't realize is that kobe was seeing double and triple teams for pretty much his entire career. if he was able to play in an era like the 90s where all these crazy zones and traps weren't legal, his numbers would have been even more nuts lol
Dude I still remember Artest in the post game interview. “Kobe passed me the ball”
2007-08 was my first nba season i ever watched and idk why seeing kobe lose in the finals going down swinging like that made me like him so much but he instantly became my favorite player. 2009-2010 is forever my fav season by my fav player thank you for this video you earned my subscription
Forever my GOAT ❤ RIP MAMBA
Recent basketball youtubers are talking about the decline of the NBA. I believe it all started when Kobe retired and how no one could fill his shoes.
Agreed but ant could possibly (in future)
Cuz no one has the passion for basketball like Kobe
This is one of the best nba videos I've ever seen
I remember this season like yesterday . Seemed like Kobe was hitting a game winner every week!
banger. keep up the good content brotha
GREATEST CLOSER EVER. RIP BEAN N GIGI
Thank you for making this video, I relive this season fondly in my memories sometimes and it was a pleasure to witness that, is as you named it in the title - defined Kobes Greatness.
damn that final line was tuff asf!! keep this 🔥 up bro!!
Your channel gonna blow up and I'm here for it. Good work, bro.
Your insight is amazing my bro!
What a Christmas present. I just got a chance to visit his statue at staples this week, and went down the Kobe rabbit hole. Then I see this video. Super teary eyed now. Great video!
This definitely brought a tear to my eye. I miss Kobe. Great video and unique way of storytelling.
Man, great video, and solid observations, subscribed 🔔
Was not expecting to find this 🔥 video on Xmas Eve. Brought back a lot of memories. Happy holidays y’all❤
This is story telling 👏 glad to have found you early on. Im sure youll be a top NBA youtube page in no time
I remember watching these games live in the morning when i was a kid. Everybody knew the ball was going to Kobe's hands. But for some reason they can't stop him hitting the buzzer beaters.
This is amazing brother. Thanks for making this videos
"He's hard to believe" "no he's not"
Incredible storytelling man... Thanks for the video!
I still miss him so much….
I remember vividly this time…..
That stretch was absolute cinema. Couldn't have scripted it any better
ty bro for making this & your words are powerful
And thank you for watching!
Another banged! Really enjoyed your storytelling
What a season! Kobe earned his spot on GOAT mountain
For me ,This Buzzer beater Streak of Kobe is What Inspired me saying “Kobe” every time i shoot that crumbled paper in trashcan 😂
My first time seeing a video on your channel... I just subscribed. Can't wait for more content. Thanks,
Awesome Tribute video. Thank you.
Really shocked to hear what new generation nba “fans” and media personel talking about Kobe being overrated and bad just to lift LeBron up in their rankings. Kobe was such a beast when he played…we will never see anyone play with such beautiful footwork and aesthetics ever! RIP to my goat, if other people forget about his legacy so be it, but I definitely WON’T!
My GOAT. Only athlete that can make me cry. The game isn't the same without him.
that was a great video, thank you.
Mehn!!! I remember crying in my living when Boston beat us to crying and playing in my living room asking GOD to please let the lakers win!😅 I wish Kobe had gotten the first championship to had complete the 3 peat! That would have been so legendary for him and Jordan to have a pair of 3peats!🥺
Always a pleasure to watch your videos man. Keep up the fantastic work
My goat 😢🐐
Keep up the great work
That's Stu Lantz 2:34 saying "No he's not." Long time Laker commentator and former player. He's seen it all. If Stu sounds excited you know there's something special.
Bought games on iTunes.... Damn bro.
I didn’t even know you could do that lol
@@ghostflame9211facts That’s dedication
Wu hoops uploads, i watch
I was in the 9th grade at the time ill never forget that season hell even the one when they traded for pau kobe was always and has always been my inspiration to play basketball and go hard
Great video 📹 my friend 👍 💯 🏀
Thank you for making such a well-made video. You were able to capture the what, the context of why it’s important, and the emotional impact that certain athletes/individuals have and transcend their respective sport.
Amazing!! 🥲
Love your content man, this is like the first comment ive made on a yt channel in like a year lol
Thank you so much glad you enjoyed 🙏🙏
Kobe is my goat.
Great video brotha 😢 A lot of memories
My goat 😭😭

I've watched like half your videos without even realizing it. Keep it up, thought this was from some 500k sub channel
That's not Clark Kellogg, that was Craig Sager. Gotta put respect on the legend.
Kobe GOAT 🐐 man Bryant is the Baddest MF ever bar none... Subscribed. Thank you for an amazing video... 💜💛
You’re making me like basketball.
Thank you so so much 🙏🙏🙏
Really great video man!
If I remember correctly, isnt this also the season with broken index finger on shooting hand?
Awesome storytelling man! 👏 I just did a video today on Kobe’s 2013 season, idk if you play 2k but it’s a build inspired by his amazing run that year. I didn’t go as in depth as you when it came to the storytelling, but I tried my best in the first couple mins of the vid to set it up. Taking notes ✍️
I need one of these on 2018 LeBron.
Will do
Kobe hits the game winner, walks calmly off the court. LeBron makes a layup, completed after CHERRY PICKING, and then flexes and beats his chest like he did something amazing. Meanwhile, as LeEGO congratulates himself, the other team streaks down court for an easy 5 on 4 layup.
this is cinema i remember watching that game 7 in 2010😢
what a banger holy
DAMNIT I MISS KOBE, great video!
With out his 6 game winners that year, Lakers will drop to 7th or 8th seed that year. So the one againts Milwaukee he missed it when the score was tied and made.it when they were.down by 1.
i only started watching basketball bc of my boyfriend but your videos have made me into such a huge fan ❤
Thank you so much. I’m so glad I could help out 🙏🙏
9:05 That's not Clark that's Craig. RIP Craig Sager. Great Content bro 👍🏾
Thank you! I’m sick to my stomach that I messed that up smh
@WuHoops It's all good brother! I've been dealing with a lot recently and this video brought me to tears, so thank you. You have a new subscriber now. I'll recommend this to all my boys 🙏🏾
Amazing narration.🎉
RIP the GOAT 💜8💛24
Those were the days bro
Amazing video
RIP KOBE 😢
This ideo deserves much more damn
Such a well made video. 🍻
Goat WU 🤝
Tip for your next videos, the graphics you use are great to show what you're talking about, ( 6:16 ) for example. But over 80% of youtube users are now on dark mode, and at night the white background on black text hurts to look at which hurts the viewer experience.
You're doing great! Just like giving advice from a viewer pov have a great holiday :)
you are a great writer!
What a good video, what's better is the use of the background music. Would you mind to tell us the source?
Great vid
Kobe was the real MVP from 2008-2010.
wow the end got me feeling like i was watching django unchained
Hahaha thought it would be fun to do a Spaghetti Western for Kobe given his Italian roots as well.
4:19 yoooo detective conan?
K 🏀 B E ❤
All done with a dislocated shooting finger
Love the Conan BGM
W vid bro
best video
Does Fish get an assist for hitting that 3 enabling Kobe to be able to hit the winning shot?
This was the defining moment that made D-wade a huge Kobe fan and chose him over Lebron.
Good video
You sound like AI jxmyhighroller
Hahaha I wish! He’s got one of the greatest voices
Clutch video
