    No script
    No fancy background
    The lesson. Just the lesson.
    I have been teaching for 21 years in university. I can recognize a great pédagogue (as we say in french)
    You’re a true teller of the story of your passion.
    Thank you for that.

    By far the best video I’ve seen on the deluge, as a newcomer to synthesis I can safely say I’ve learnt more watching this video than anything else to date, keep up the good work!

    Many thanks for this *great* tutorial ! It was a comfortable experience and your kind way to demostrate things makes an huge difference. Please add more, and I'm really looking forward to the next level, when the deluge will have wavetable, which will be in the next release - as far as I know from the deluge forum.
    All the best,

    The deluge being my very first keyboard, electronic instrument, synth, etc, this video is by far the most useful around, as it mixes some generic explanations with how to apply them to the deluge. Big thumbs up.

    Mr. Wiggly I love you! Keep 'em coming please. I own the Deluge (not the Deloooge as others call it ) but your general synthesis explanations are first class and as we can see you have an extensive collection and experience to share. After the last video I have been sampling my Sequential SixTrak into the Deluge so now I can include my beautiful 35 year old synth in my live set. The Deluge syncs with a Minibrute2 and a 3U modular rack and gives me 'infinite' voices including drums. Just wish it had more audio outs :-)

    Last week I worked through two patches, a tb303 bass and an envelope filtered string synth (both by TH-cam channel Rezzonator). Put them into some sessions, made this week's set for streaming on radiomothership and feel inspired at having two new synths. All in the Deluge.

    • @girlinagale
      @girlinagale 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Mr.Wiggly I was at a crisis point, not wanting to do four on the floor 127bpm ambient techno, or 90bpm chillout sounds and the tb303 is so rhythmic I've found some lovely grooves at 117bpm. It never stops.

      Thanks Tristan! I'm about to embark on an updated set of Deluge videos, because this one is now quite out of date with all of the new software updates since then. Poly unison - wow, I bet you can make some really lush slow attack ambient pad sounds :). So if I have it right, you can have different instances of the efx accept the reverb? For example, I could have a deep fast delay on one track and a shallow slow delay on another by adjusting the rate and depth? Or is that rate and decay adjustments only? But reverb is just the send amount correct? Thanks 🙏

    My first plan was Elektron Rytm+Virus+sequencer for the virus but that's a very expensive set up, so the Deluge migth be a good alternative. The most Important to me is the cost/pleasure ratio.
