Why can’t Americans understand how good Americans are?

    • @pamike4873
      @pamike4873 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

Because right now, at this moment, the largest propaganda effort in the history of not only the USA, but the world at large, is underway, and it's being led by the Democrat party, bankrolled by the 1% (which the left loves to bash even though most of the 1% are Dems and donate heavily to their campaigns), and orchestrated by our own damn media who spread it far and wide. And we have "woke" teachers/congress/senators, even Biden/Harris along with millions of imbeciles that hate this country and want to keep racism alive and well.
The left claims the right is totally racist, right? The left are the true racists. They make everything about race. They also have no problem being racist out in the open. Larry Elder, a black man who is conservative and ran for Governor of CA, had a woman dressed in a gorilla mask, throw eggs at him while spewing racist comments continuously. Do you know how much media coverage it got? None. 0 minutes. Only Fox reported it. And the left stays silent. Do you see BLM in any ghetto, or in places like Chicago when 8-year-olds are being gunned down by fellow blacks? Nope. They don't give a rats ass about black lives. Here are a few facts for you- blacks kill more whites than whites kill blacks, despite whites outnumbering blacks almost 7 to 1. And, blacks commit more killings in the US than EVERY. OTHER. RACE. COMBINED. Yet this woke mob doesn't care about reality, the truth, or helping anyone despite claiming the opposite. It's scary.
From kindergarten to graduate school, our youth are being taught revisionist history, a history that isn't close to the truth, rather turned on its head. They're teaching kids that America is nothing but evil, founded on oppression, white supremacy, and the invasion of foreign lands by those white people. They're keeping racism alive by claiming white people have everything handed to them on the backs of minorities, and that white people continue to take from the minority to enrich themselves. Of course, it's all a crock of shit, but the scary part is pretty much all of our so-called media is on board with this agenda and loves to spew it as "news", regardless if it's true, false, or completely made up.
Sorry for the rant. It's just frustrating.

My country Finland signed the international Ottawa Treaty which bans anti-personnel land mines. I don't agree with that choice, because those land mines make a lot of sense in Finland's particular situation where we have a relatively large land area to protect with a small population against Russia of all countries. Minefields would free up our smaller army to concentrate in critical areas where men are more needed and slow down and funnel the enemy advance into disadvantageous positions. In Finland the position of those minefields would be marked more accurately and thoroughly than in some Third World conflicts and such, so the problem of kids walking into them post-war would not be as pervasive of a problem.
Although I assume we would start quickly producing them again if war became a likelihood. Here's my strange short essay about a nitpick of Finnish foreign/military policy I had. We signed a treaty that undermined our national defense and doesn't really apply to our situation because kids in Africa were walking into mines, and our then-President (who looks like a female version of Conan O'Brien) was all about that.

He was asked why he called this first team number six. His answer: Because I wanted everybody to wonder where the hell teams 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 were! The teams have since been further specialized and divided and now number 22. The training is EXTREMELY tough and rigorous ant the attrition rate is over 80%. Our veterans in America….and I am one apologize to all countries who got stuck due to our terrible pull out in Afghanistan. We are not pleased or happy with those in charge. That was not a leadership move. Yes… We need to leave but you can decide how you do it. You can’t blame it on the former president. When you are the president you have all the power and that was horrible and I hold them accountable 100%. Especially sorry to you guys in the UK. I feel like you’re our brothers as well. My last name is Williamson. I am an eighth generation American from the great and beautiful land of Scotland. If you were here in America and talk to our veterans on the street like I do in the restaurants etc. you would not believe how many of them…Are very dissatisfied with the way that was handled. We thought it was very un-American. Take my word for it gentleman don’t believe the news. Veterans here are not proud of that move at all

Please stop. The former President, an inept idiot, was the one who brokered that date. He is also the one who refused military weapons to Ukraine years ago, and tried to get Zelensky to investigate Biden. Imagine being so treasonous that you try to employ a foreign entity to investigate an American. What a spineless, uneducated oaf. Hope he ends up in jail.

When I lived in Latin America, I learned that many people do not list their parents as mom and dad in their cellphones just in case of a kidnapping. Instead, everyone is listed under a nickname. This is because kidnappers need and want to know the names and numbers of parents so that they can demand more money if the parents know their child is in danger.
I list everyone in the same way in my US phone.

@@vaahtobileet I was talking about adults who do not list their parents' names in their cellphone. I was told that kidnappers look for Mom and Dad listed in the phone because it is obvious that mom and dad are family members of kidnap victim. With this number, the kidnappers can threaten the parents and they are more likely to want to pay the ransom. What happens during the kidnapping of a child? I do not know and I hope I never have to find out.

Yeah, I'm a sweet little old lady who abhors violence, but I must say I did a quick fist pump when I heard Jessica say that all that was left behind were the bodies of nine dead pirates lying on the ground after the Seals rescued her. I also loved the story of the Maersk Alabama. The Maersk Alabama was a cargo ship that was also taken over by Somalian pirates and they took the captain as hostage and were holding him for ransom. I believe Navy Sharpshooters were the ones who were called in and let's just say that things did not end very well for some of the pirates and that was another story that got an enthusiastic fist pump from me. When someone is going about his own business, and he is not harming anyone I have all sorts of compassion for him if he is placed in a dangerous situation. If some low life makes it his life's work to rob and pillage and kidnap, I don't lose even one minute of sleep if he pays the ultimate price. The story of the Maersk Alabama would be a great story for you to react to.

Somehow, and Jessica knows just out of shear luck, the negotiator was able to get word out to our government. It still amazes me that our government did anything. There's one thing that every single American knows. If you go outside of the U.S., you are on your own. Every single American knows that the U.S. Government, never has and never will negotiate for American hostages. That's why she was so confused and surprised that Americans were there to save her. It was nothing for our Seals to zip in and zip out in the blink of an eye, thats what they do.

Hey I'm a pretty blonde lady.. let's go to the worst place on Earth that has no laws and is filled with pirates with an IQ of 65.
I feel people like that should get help equally as much as the person that goes to the store and buys a big steak, climbs three fences at the zoo to get into the lion cage, and then tries to hand feed the lion.
Both people made a terrible choice to put themselves in that position.. as far as I'm concerned nobody needs to hurry to go help them.. because that would put themselves in a bad position.. and natural selection says idiots that make terrible choices die.
That's what makes societies stronger, the idiots not breeding because they've been killed by terrible choices.

I listened to a long form interview with her and the story is a little more complex than that. She was serving in other areas that were considered safe compared to where this story takes place. She got an assignment to go to this area for 3 days and didn't want to go because she felt uneasy about the safety situation. She was pressured into doing it by the other guy that was captured (she alludes to losing her job if she said no) and decided to go.

It’s probably too long to react to for your channel unless you edited it down, but there’s an episode of the Cleared Hot podcast with Jessica Lynch who was the first American POW of the war in Iraq. She was rescued and the podcast host/interviewer was one of the SEALs on her rescue mission, so they’re each able to tell their own side of the same story for the first time. I believe she had never spoken to any of her rescuers or heard the story from their perspective, and to Andy Stumpf (the host and former SEAL) it was just another mission he went on so he didn’t know the full story either. If I remember correctly he was one of the SEALs who was providing security around the building during the rescue so he wasn’t one of the ones who went into the building to actually collect her, but he was still there and played a role. It’s a pretty neat podcast and I think about half of it was dedicated to telling their stories and matching up details and timelines, while the other half talks about her life since that time so you may be able to cut it down to just the telling of that rescue story and react to it. I can’t remember if it was audio only or if there was video of the podcast but I highly recommend it either way as it’s not that often that you get to hear a story like that from the perspectives of both the hostage and one of the rescuers. It’s episode 45 of the Cleared Hot podcast.

This is one of my pet peeves. These civilians go or stay where they have been told to get out or don't go there, and then we must send in personnel to bail them out. They are exempt from taxes provided they do not stay in the U.S. for more than 30 days in a calendar year. I think they should have to pay a premium for creating an unnecessary risk. Then perhaps they would give more thought to what they are doing. I am glad Jessica was saved, but it would not have been necessary if she used her head in the first place. Anybody want to bet whether she will be so foolish again ?
