Caleb Williams now holds the record for total yards in a Bears season Caleb had 4,030 this year (3,541 passing and 489 rushing) Jay Cutler has the 2nd most which was 4,003 in 2015 (3,812 passing and 191 rushing) Caleb did this while being the 3rd most sacked QB in NFL history for season (tied with David Carr)
I disagree, he deserve the blame for the sacks. His misses were brutal as he would have had way over 4000 yards passing. However, with this franchise and what we saw, who can WIN with what we all saw. This coaching hire is so IMPORTANT for Caleb and the Chicago Bears.
The bears have destroyed 2 first round Qbs and Caleb looked the best, but he was still affected throughout the season with an organization that runs through coaches and quarterbacks. Sometimes issues are the organization and not just players and coaches.
Colin! it is irrelevant what you think or feel about Caleb Williams! It's all on Caleb! Whether he wants to learn how to be an winning NFL QB? Just like Mitch or Justin! The most important muscle of an NFL QB is the one between his ears! You can't fix a QB that has no stopwatch ticking in the back of his mind! Holding onto the football too long can have 3 outcomes! Two of them aren't good! Poles might've picked his Waterloo? Should've traded out the No. #1 pick! It would've blown up the draft and gotten the Bears much needed draft collateral! It isn't 1982 when we were a QB away from being a competitive team in the Black & Blue Division! Building from the top down is a knee jerk ass backwards! rebuilding an NFL Football Team! A bottom up approach is a more secure and longer lasting build! A Quality Offensive Lineman over a QB or Receiver is better! Besides they are a lot smarter than Rookie QB's! I like Poles! But this Generational talk is just a fictitious place in Egypt along the Denial River! Did anyone call Joe Montana taken in the 3rd with the 82rd pick, Generational? Even after bringing ND back in the 2nd half of the Blue Bonnet Bowl down 34-12? This Generational talk is just Fantasy GM Football Crap! And make believe & podcast talking points for likes & subscriptions! Not reality! Not body is Drafting a College QB that hasn't played in a schedule offense or plays from under center! For play action or can read defensive schemes!
Vrabel doors are wide open. Only see 1 or 2 OCs pulling as much weight as possible head coaches. Looks like 6 teams so far are looking for new management. Browns, Raiders, Jets, Saints, Jaguars, and Patriots,. Not sure how the Gaints are at the top of this mess.
Pair Joe Brady with Ron Rivera as DC.. OJT for Joe as HC… Rivera as the training wheels. We will get a look at Brady going against his mentor Payton and then against KC? And if he wins maybe against Ben Johnson. A lot to watch in coming weeks. Go Bears!
Hey Julian, do you think the Bears should keep Poles as GM? He let the O Line continue to decompose. And when you think we could’ve had Jim Harbaugh as head coach which would have a not-since-Ditka-returned-to-the-Bears sense of destiny to it. And what was the first thing Harbaugh did in LA? Rebuild the O-Line! A former Bear QB HC to develop a first pick in the draft new Bears QB would’ve given me a sense of confidence even in the face of a 5-12 season like this one! Here’s hoping they get it right this year. However, history is not an indicator the inspires confidence.
Colin, is a Fanboy Homer and always has been, he likes who he likes, and they can do no wrong even when they do wrong. When he starts laying some accountability in his buddies (SPayton, BNix, Draymond, SMcVey, Shanahan and the like)...I'll take his opinions serious...he's a joke!! Props to Jason Mac for calling him out on some of his nonsense too!!
Now that the media has their quarterback for the bears. Now it's on the organization, it's always been on this organization.Justin was the right quarterback... But now that the media quarterback isn't working.
Its crazy they say hold on to the ball to long all season i see the top 5 qb hold on to the ball till a wr gets OPEN but when cw dose the nfl trashed williams all year for doing the same thing the top qb's did im hella confused
So Colin says the Bears are the worst team in the NFL? If that’s the case how come with the second toughest schedule in the league the Bears ended up with the 10th worst record? One place worse than Kyle Shanahan’s 49ers. It is undoubtedly a shambles and the leadership was shockingly bad but the last 2 years the Bears finished with the 9th and 10th worst record. They are nowhere near the worst team and that was without a decent HC or OC. If they pick the right HC they can definitely finish above .500 next year.
Great QBs transcend disfunction. GB was a disaster prior to Favre, Cincy before Burrow, Indy before Manning, etc. Caleb simply lacks that level of talent. He's significantly less talented than Kyler
On paper there easy wins, and in reality we should have beat them but then were underprepared and got punched in the mouth and folded….colts, jags, Carolina panthers, Seahawks, cardinals & pats
Looking for the big play? What a joke! What BIG plays? He literally had zero passes over 50 yds in almost 600 attempts. And a lowly 6 over 40 yards. He’s terrible

One of the longest losing streaks in bears franchise history Caleb deserves a lot of the blame😂

Nah I think Vrabel is going to New England

As much hate as I gave him with some decent coaching and a online he can be a problem but for this year all that hype shit dial it back people

Joe Brady is not nothin. Has a Shanahan vibe.
