I also have a similar plan, when I started I told myself I wanted to take 2-3 years to actually learn tattooing before I start tattooing on human skin full time. I personally care more about learning the fundamentals and technical approaches over trying to make a buck or do it for recognition. My tattooing journey has always been about the craft of tattooing, it is great to hear others take a similar approach. Also take your time with your journey, don’t be pressed to tattoo human skin if you’re not ready for it, even if others have things to say, stay grounded and be kind to yourself along the way. I was wondering if the advice of "not pressing too hard as not to make an indent onto the next page" was for learning needle depth as well as just being able to use the next pages practice ;) - Avid follower, thanks man!
That’s a fantastic question! I am mindful of pressure so that mindfulness can translate over when I am tattooing with needles. It’s more for development and practice over ruining the pages.

Yes sir thats how i use it 👍🏼 but you can use a regular pen if you want or pencil any way u want really whatever works best for you
