This scene... So incredible Kevin Conroy is legendary in his delivery, but the writing is SO much better than its complimentary scene from the Dark Knight Returns. "No you won't." is SO much more impactful than "I believe you." This one is deliberate. He is saying that as long as I'm still fighting, as long as I still draw breath, NO ONE else will die. This story arc was written very well. The black detective deemed Batman a villain with evil intent and showed distrust. In Exodus in the Bible, God talked to Moses through a burning bush. Normally a bush burning would be devoured by flames but the bush was intact. That's because fire only burns what is impure, the moment God talked to Moses the bush was pure and never burned. What does this have to do with Batman? At 2:00 Batman stood in fire while not being consumed by flames. Yes its obvious his gear is fire and bullet resistant. The deeper meaning is that Batman not being burned is because he is pure. Thus showing the detective that Batman is not a villain of Gotham but in fact their pure protector. This is good story writing.

I swear this animation style is *perfect* for Batman. I’d love to see a long animated series with this art style.
That smirk at 2:47 is just……….Beautiful
Like a wolf bearing its fangs before it strikes.
I didn’t even notice it.
I wish there was more to this animation. I love Batman’s intimidating and badass design here! And he’s so brutal and nonchalant when fighting Maroony’s or Falconies (can’t remember which) henchmen. He just beats them to with an inch of their lives and walks out of that fire like a demon straight out of hell! The scared look on the dude’s face is practically priceless! I love it!
Him slowly walking through the fire has to be the most badass thing i have ever seen
Unmatched aura
2:47 I just noticed he’s smiling right as he leaped forward. It’s quick but he smirks. He fucking smirked! Dude is terrifying 😂 I love Batman bro
Honestly I think it would be a good tactic to scare and confuse the criminal
Thank you, Mr. Kevin Conroy! Godspeed!
I like how it looks like anime.
It is anime.....
noodlesghost no it isnt
@@CaptainHank3 dude this film is made by Madhouse. Sure it's anime dude.
Gotham knight was an animated movie with short stories done by different anime studios
The director was Yuichiro Hayashi, the director of the final season of Attack on Titan. They modified the art style to look more Americanized, but it's assuredly anime.
Why can't they make batman this badass in the movies?
Just wait for batman 2021
@@shafin3520 still won't be badass as this batman...
Batffleck was pretty much like this one
OH&S issues mainly. "Dude, stand here in the fire for a bit whilst we get these awesome camera angles. Don't worry, nostril hair grows back"
@@isabeligbar Not really he, the fighting was there but Affleck's Batman was a wack characterization.
This is the best example of what " I'm Batman" means and looks like in my opinion.
That just resonates so much more than "yeah you might have killed them if i wasn't here"
2:12 well that's CHILLING.

That cd is a great one. It is several different movies or shorts. Each artist doing a different episode of The Batman. There are many good versions . Kevin Conway does the voice grandly.

Man looks like a demon. We need more of THIS Batman. That was terrifying
This is crazy that this is the batman from the The dark Knight trilogy, This takes place between BB and TDK

As joker once said ‘There’s nothing mere about that mortal’
"I SWEAR I'LL DO IT!"
Disarmed
"No...you won't"
This has a nice mix of humanizing Batman, by making him recognizing good people, and making the aspect of terror he is in the minds of criminals.
Does anyone notice the vampiric music in the background and in this particular scene he shows like a deadly vampire attitude, like Northing can touch him... He is the death...
Man this whole series was pretty intense... 💙
Batman - Gotham Knight OST - Inferno
We definitely need a anime Styled Batman. To capture not the man, but the symbol of fear he really is. Truly what we desire.
Go watch Batman: Gotham Knight
This film defined cinematic Batman.
Beautiful animation, horrifying storytelling, intense action… This is astonishing! Batman walking through the fire should be a painting in an art gallery!
This scene is the definition of badass
Out from the flames of Hell, the Batman shall walk the Earth.
RIP Kevin Conroy the one true Batman
The way Batman just stands in the fire and walks out like nothing is just awesome.
RIP Kevin Conroy, your voice will always be Batman to me.
Bruh this is the closest thing we’re going to get to a Batman anime, AND I LOVE IT
This has to be one of the most badass versions of Batman he just has that don’t f#%k with me vibe
He was sitting there like “I know I did not just watch this fool come out of a fire unscathed”
If I were a Gotham criminal and saw Batman standing menacingly in an inferno, I would look for an honest job and not complain no matter how shit the pay is.

this anime-ish animation style is sooo impressive and the story and performance really keeps you in the scene as well. What a splendid moment
Because it's an anime, the animation was made at Nolan's request for his trilogy, and it was made by Japanese anime studios, this is literally Bale's Batman in anime.
@@Oblivion___ that's an interesting piece of information
@@atulkrishna3467
It really is not an anime , the fact that the animation is good doesn't immediatly make it an "anime"

I’m I the only one who thinks that Batman looks badass at terrifying as hell when he’s covered by his cape symbolizing a Bat covered by his wings?
Fun fact: this movie is set in the Nolanverse between the events of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.
Someone needs to make a anime Batman like this I remember growing up I saw this on dvd with different versions of Batman it was bad ass all times of animation
Damn!! This Batman hits SOOOOOO Different!!...like a demon out of hell fire...
Piece of trivia for you all, this is set between Begins and Dark Knight, but is not integral to the storyline of the Dark Knight Trilogy.
Batman: "No, You Won't" Epic scene🦇👏👏👏👏👏
1:55 This scene right here shows what Batman is supposed to be...
"Your worst nightmare!"
Bro did not have to add the bible detail but God damn you did, you deserve a praise 🎉
