I'm strongly considering DD as a league starter for the first time. It seems though as if he attack based skills might be smarter because of tinctures. What are we all thinking in terms of wildwood ascendancy for dd elementalist?

Can someone explain please how doese these mechanics work, why do we need the defiled forces and shaper of flames together?? Defiled forces refresh ignite when we curse the enemy, and shaper of flames guarantee the ignite on hit. Why do we need both? Why cant we just get the shaper of flames?
ignite lasts a short duration. With dd build you want to hit the big corpse in the desecrate pool in order to deal the most damage possible with ignite , and then with defiled corpses you just put arcanist brand to the enemy and it automatically casts curses on boss and it refreshes the big ignite pretty much forever. Playstyle becomes: Desecrate, focus on ring, Vaal DD, desecrate, arcanist brand, and then just cast arcanist brand every time it runs out so it keeps the biggest ignite of the vaal dd
How is EK ignite this league? The new trans EK gem shoots 5 more projectiles and let you shoot in a circle but you lose the 39% projectile speed compared to current league gem. Also you can't get +2 durability on chest for EK anymore but a +5 gem chest cost like 150 div anyways and I prob won't get it so that doesn't bother me so much. It's just the 39% projectile speed. How big of a nerf is this?
poison seems better dont need to spend gazillion divines to reach dot cap while having access to whirling blades/leap slam/shield charge. Also you can use lingering blades version for duration tag
how many buttons is a DD build? i am newish and i am looking for a easy mapper. that is fast and GOOD and clearing but is chill. right now it seems to be LA or TS as alot of stuff can be automated about them
Desecrate-DD is 2 buttons, Malevolence or Haste on Blessing is another, Arcanist brand tied to a curse and WoC is 4 already, then insert whatever movement or utility skill you want or need
The general playstyle is two buttons, laying down corpses and then detonating them. For single target you'll add a few more things, usually Arcanist Brand on the enemy for curses and Wave of Conviction for elemental exposure. Generally you will also use a Divine Blessing, which turns an aura into a temporary buff, so you'll press this every 10 seconds or so.
Yes he is getting a weaker ignite from Shield Charge but he's also weaving in dropping Armageddon Brand in between almost every charge. It's tough to see because of the timer, but in the top left corner is the counter for his currently active brands.
@@excaligaming2435 I could be wrong but I seem to recall they nerfed the overlap that you used to get from Volley so it's now significantly worse than before. If this is not the case then yes it's a blaster. Just have to keep your flasks upgraded

It is one of the fastest starters, but like all chaos damage skills, it can be hard to scale to super high damage, eventually. other than that, if you want to switch it up, try explosive conc. same mechanics, same speed basically.

@@dik4316 you don't need to hold control, if you rebind for example ctrl+w into middle mouse, you can click middle mouse and activate the skill without switching the bar

arma + crema is really good for switching to ignite builds later on like DD, WoC, ignite arc, etc. Trees are basically the same

if youre talking about after hillock its just faster to relog unless you have bad pc or on bad server
1. I prefer to mule on leaguestart for higher change of 3B + buying coral ring + extra wisdom scrolls. 2. just faster than running normally

You usually do after act 10 and when you have vaal DD. In Sc just go haste instead of double defense aura and you are fine
