Can't believe this is online. My family attended this game as part of a family vacation. My sister had made a sign for Jeff Treadway and we knew we had been on TV. Unfortunately the VCR that was programmed to record the game did not cooperate. And in 1991 these broadcasts were one and done. So we were bummed that we didn't get to see our big national TV moment. But 33 years or so later we appear at the 24:00 mark. Treadway does his part by immediately following with a 2 RBI double. Great memories and Go Braves!
Thank you for this. I lost my dad in 2016 to agent Orange disease and these games remind of him so much. I can close my eyes and I’m back sitting in the living room with my daddy watching the Braves.
Thank you for posting! I'm already plotting out a SABR Games Project article on the May 12, 1991 Bucs-Braves game that you posted (as I like to write about games involving the Pirates, especially if there's a TV recording involved, regardless of whether they won...), and this one also intrigues me.
Another awesome upload. Do you have the second game and the Braves at Reds Game in cincy late in the year that justice hit the HR off Dibble? and the Game 1 vs astros that friday Night game on espn The day before we clinched the division? and anymore games from the 80s? Thank You so much for what you do

We're always glad we're in a position to help a member of the Wombat community re-live a special baseball moment!
Very cool story! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for posting this. Gosh I miss Skip, Pete, and Don and the Braves on TBS. Good memories of good times.

We're really happy we have the chance to bring back those memories for you!
I grew up watching the Braves on TBS as a kid. I remember the intro with the theme music.

Hit me up -- my email is on the About tab of this site. I'm certain I can help you and SABR out a lot more.
Carrey and Sutton. Voices of my childhood. Go Braves! Strike zone is bigger and the players much smaller
Why did it always feel like Glavine would have a crappy first inning and then kick butt the rest of the way?
Amazing quality, thank u
Otis Nixon!

I wonder if he has the one against the Reds late in the year, where Frank Cabrera hit the HR off of Dibble.
Go braves
