The guy who gives you the quest to destroy the empire says he’s a pailic or something, implying there were multiple tribes native to calradia when the empire showed up. And the empire didn’t genocide them either, since the same guy says the calradians grew their empire by fully incorporating their new conquered subjects into the empire, making them citizens. If that’s genocide, then the barbarian ending is genocide too.

Yea, you need to capture imperial settlements until you get 2/3 of the empire... after that the triple alliance starts and you will get focused by the 3 stronger factions ( this depends on power of the kingdom on trigger moment ) Wharever you do get mounted patrols and keen sight before... trust me you're gonna need it. Edit: you only get engaged by non imperial factions don't worry... and those 3 that engage you will not have the peace option on kingdom tab... so be sure to take good sieges and fast ones...

@@ZEROFLCN the empire will reunify under the imperial faction the player supports... it can be any imperial faction. if he doesn't support any original faction he can support his own imperial faction. Main quest has no bugs anymore, when the barbarian alliance engages on your faction you get 3 missions on quest tab, eliminate x kingdom. On these missions you have to fight those 3 kingdoms until war exaustion bar reaches 100 positive value... also you will not be able to ask for peace w the allied kingdoms on the kingdom tab... the only way is to wipe the florr w them ( this can be checked on quest tab by clicking on the missions ) and you MUST avoid the bars reaching -100 or the empire fractures for good and all imperial factions get destroyed ( even the player's empire if he goes that way ) The missions can be completed by raiding villages, defeating armies, taking castles and towns, raiding villages gives 1 point, beating lords by separate gives 0, defeating a small army gives 2, defeating a big army over 1500 mes gives 4 points, taking a castle gives 6 and a town gives you 15... I recommend having 200 enginering, scouting 225 and riding 225 to get keen sight and mounted patrols perks... also make sure you have leadership 250 to have 5 full parties on your clan and high steward on your party and the clan's parties to get w 5 parties over 1000 men. Also having high medicine on your chr is vital to lose the less men possible, and make sure you have a LOT OF HIGH TIER TROOPS, cause you need to not lose even one single fight if you wish to end this war fast.
i personally preffer the anti imperial ending as the empire basically just is the bad guys. Istiana makes this clear and so does azargos if you read what they both have to say closely. Ik istiana dosent litreally say it but you will know what i mean.

@@asgerjensen9250 If you compare the Empire of Calradia to the Roman Empire you'll notice something they both have in common: The old cultures are mainly only remembered because scholars from more literate nations wrote about them. Take Norway as an example. We know next to nothing about our prehistory before the Romans came to us to trade and we were so wrought with war that nothing of our old culture could be written, but evidence is that we Norwegians have been here for thousands of years. But the wars were so bad that not even the Romans could confidently say what was going on here. This has been the case for most of human history outside of the Mediterranean. We never wrote our own history in those days, the Romans did. Without them we wouldn't even have known that much about our ancient Norse gods! So indeed, there was still integrations and some cultures were lost, like in the game, but a world of constant tribal warfare has no history. Just as in game Calradia had no history before the Calradians came, which may or may not be intentional.

My playthrough is the bad ending for vlandia. Married silvind, was vlandia's top general but it all changed when I defected. Next thing you know all of the vlandia nobles and clan have been executed and replaced with companions. I
Honestly, Empire and Claudia are the best. So, the best ending would be for the empire to reunite, and have the vlandians serve the empire as mercenaries again.

Warband is mostly set on the western part of Calradia, the survival of the Southern Empire (byzantine like) would be plausible

This ending feels much better when you actually complete the game. It feels satisfactory.
It can be too easy. I was able to snowball Battania and they made peace after losing just 2 towns. XD
