IMO and from my experience, you don’t want a guy like this. I’ve been single for almost 2 years and it’s awesome!
You forgot to mention that even though they come back, they may still have an avoidant personality and will most likely avoid serious situations in the future. I really don’t like the reality of that, but, that is narcissistic behavior. They feel burdened and annoyed when attention is not on them, especially when others need something.

Always less words. Wordy words should be fun, funny etx. When there is important stuff, cut the words 80%. Making a guy jealous WILL BACKFIRE. If you are giving space, just give it. No need to do anything to show him how much you dont need him. He will likely believe you.
I’m dealing with this one guy, and I allow him to miss me and it works since he and I do not want a relationship, but it really works, he be calling, and wondering where you at, and don’t have another man under your belt. Girl he will blow you up.
That only happens if he is really into you.
If you tell him you don’t want a relationship BUT you still reciprocate the attention- you’re either lying and playing him or lying to yourself. He probably just wants to F you- which is probably all you want anyway. Girl, value yourseld more than that BC guys will F ANYTHING.
When a Man pulls away I simply allow it. If I know i have not wronged him I am respectable to him then why should I jumped through hurdles. One thing i realize the Man who ready for a relationship and is emotionally intelligent. you dont go through these mental gymnastics with the Right Man.

Elliot i have done a lot of mistakes when he broke up with me around 5 months ago. First 2 months i was all over place and would initiate contact all the time. But now I understood that's all the wrong i was doing. He's still not contacting but I'd never initiate contact anymore. In the meantime around 4th month he came back asked me if we can go back into the relationship which i refused to check how much he meant it because he dumped me for a girl he met online. Guess what i didn't hear from him after that call. It hurts but sometimes i laugh on what i meant to him.
