I tried this method and had trouble getting to the plug, but I was able to remove the seat and cargo pan and the entire engine was exposed and getting to the spark plug was very easy.

Has the part # changed? I can't find CR7EH-9, which is what's listed in the manual. Every search comes up with CR9EH-9. Is this right?

The CR9EH-9 is a colder heat range spark plug that works better for racing. For normal riding, try to find the CR7EH-9.

    Hello
When you changed your spark plug, did the old plug have oil on the threads? It look like that when you removed it. Is that ok?
    Thanks

Yes, it looks like just a little oil. I didn't see any oil leaks, and my oil was never low, so I'm not going to worry about it.

My Honda elite 110 has been sitting for about 5 years. It only has 400 miles on it but won't start. I have replaced the battery and siphoned the old gas out of it but it still won't start. The air filter is in fine condition and so are the spark plugs. Do you have any recommendations for what might be wrong

Spray some contact cleaner or staring fluid inside the intake manifold

Hummm🤔. I wonder if that’s what’s wrong with mine. It’s running now, but at first it wasn’t. My wife had to take me to work these pass few days. It’s been misfiring for some reason🤔. Then it would make a clicking sound as if the starter might be going out. My wife thought it could be a loose connection with the battery, but I’m getting full power, so I’ve scratched that theory out. The only thing that I’ve never changed in my scooter, is the spark plug🙄. I feel like a dork🤦🏽‍♂️. I’ve changed my oil, coolant, filter, and battery since I’ve had my scooter, and the spark plug never crossed my mind😣. I’m sure that’s what it is. I’ll need to order that possibly. But again, it’s running right now for some odd reason. My job is just right around the corner🤷🏽‍♂️
