Unbelievably useful, even if its a year old. OK, that's it, subscribing. I see a Dudley Dix DH550 Charter version home-build 55 foot plywood sailing catamaran in my future. 😊

Your pronunciation is the funniest thing I've heard all day. Whist I am well aware that we are two great nations divided by a common language, any Brits watching this will be laughing their asses off. And filleting is the least of your problems :-) love it! But bring back the f**king cursing please!

..... Hey Litzenbergers! .... well done and liked how you make fighting fun and challenging .... how much time had elapsed between the laminating the stringers and the podcast on the deck .... that must be one of the best views that any workshop could have .... was looking forward to a shot from a bit father away to get the feel of the hulls, did sneak a peek a couple of times from the end, but then again the deck is not wide enough to back up enough .... I really do have to get out, reacquire tools and do some wood working ..... thx for sharing .... and as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans .....

Great job with the podcast and video. They were slightly different but equally entertaining. Your hard work and creativity will pay off because there is always room at the top for the best.

Hmmm, B really gives the generic boored student a new face! 👍
And btw, the whole art of boatbuilding is to get the adequate tension into all the arcs... When they play together the lines of the hull will be beautiful. Its just one of these unappreciated arts...

You two are so freaking funny! Love the intro, laughed my !@# off. I'm probably the oddball but I like the bleeped out editing. Good grief spencer - it is FILL IT. Where did you learn to talk anyway? Throw that darn belt sander away and get yourself a nice block plane. Liked the visual podcast this week much more than the last one. Good job! Take care my friends.

From one professional shipwright to another obvious pro . holy shit your boat is going to have a half life of 10 000000 yrs you have so much epoxy on there, wedding cake icing on those laminations is awesome. 44 gallon drum is the go for a 14 ft'r . Makes for a nice well lubricated pegging though. It will sail as if it has all the time in the world without fear of menace from any land , cos when it hits, the rocks will break. Keep up the good work and B stop f----ing swearing while the algorithm is watching your pegging for f--k sake. B .B.B.

Next you'll be wearing (respectively) a string tie and a wimple! And I assume that was whole milk, none of the airy-fairy denatured 2% (or "him" forbid, soya/almond milk).

Hitia 14 is a beautiful boat and with some modifications you can turn it on a camp cruiser. Look these videos for inspiration: th-cam.com/video/rTIsVFwfJEc/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/wja0p-xI6Pc/w-d-xo.html

Hate to break it to you, but what you are doing there isn't actually lofting. In lofting you are taking dimensions from a table of offsets, and drawing the plans of the boat in full size, and using the battens to fair out errors that are inevitable in the small scale plans when drawn full size. Then you take the measurements from your lofted full scale plans, and transfer them to the wood that will become the pieces of the boat. The process is an order of magnitude more complex than just transferring final dimension from plans directly to plywood.

Greetings! I listen to all your podcasts and watch your videos. I like the new style.
I'd like to bring out a few things I especially like about your channel:
    1. You build and fix stuff. I build and fix stuff.
    2. You are not faking it. I want to see what it's really like.
    3. No cheap click bait stuff.
    4. You argue so much. Real couples do. It's funny
    5. You do not force any baby videos on me like all the other sailing youtubers do. I am not kid person sry. If you get one I will unfollow 😀
Wish you all the best! Hope you make it big time.
