Check out that propane fridge , it may not be safe on a boat, particularly given its location . I am a gas fitter , and although unfamiliar with that exact unit be real careful because the exhaust from it can kill you
right.....? but the stove will not? The flame on a propane fridge is so small it would NEVER consume the oxygen in the interior. It does not give off carbon monoxide. Any propane leak is detectable with your nose 100 times before ignition. Certification is great... common sence is better.
Slow progress! Have bought all the paint we’ll need, but have to get to sanding. Have decided on cushions. And now just removed all the headliner throughout. Pics are updated here…. instagram.com/sailingscallywags?igshid=NzZlODBkYWE4Ng%3D%3D&
I made it with iMovie. I made a trailer and used the “Indie” format. Just plug in the video clips, and edit the font to what you want it to say. I hope that makes sense?
I dont think I understand at all why you posted the video? Several good question down below you ignore... how much? did you have it surveyed? Sails? Any sail boat purchase with out the above is bragging? I dont get it.?
It’s over 30yrs old. Major refit needs done. The older ones have balsa wood in the hauls. More than likely it is rotted!! Do a thorough check if I was you!!! Never buy a boat over 30 yrs unless you plan on 2 yrs on the hard. Just sayin.
As boats age original build quality and how well they were maintained makes all the difference . New production boats are CRAP and won't make 30 years without major repairs - I direct you to Parley Revival , or this guy - th-cam.com/video/HEv07qssvzo/w-d-xo.html
Noone wants to hear that.... you are so right. I love it when I see a boat advertised for full retail and they actually say in the add the standing rugging is 15 years old.... but dont worry some guy inspected it and says it ok. NO mention of the sails.... So in my fake case above add 10-20000 us and a month but people are buy a dream nothing more.
So proud for your guys
Super cool, thanks for sharing!
how much was it?
Really enjoyed the video, looking forward to seeing more.
Hello from WonderWind.....the Island Packed 45 next to you.
I was just there today and saw ya! Will be there tomorrow too. Last push of projects before going in!
@ We haven't been there for a few weeks. You must have seen someone else. Our boat is by the road this year and no longer next to you.

Completely agree! It’s actually already been removed and shopping for an electric one.

Its in sailing condition but it definitely needs a remodel to make it nice
Any progress? Or just buttoned up for the winter?

How much did you buy for??
@@JDA77 $23k
@ that’s not to bad at all
What is the headroom clearance?
I’m not exactly sure. I’m 5’8” and plenty. I’ll try to remember to measure out next time I’m at it working.
I want to know too. Nice boat! I wouldn't hesitate to sail it to the Bahamas.
@@scallywags228 I’m 6’6” so headroom is critical.
