  • Hi Guys, today I want to show you how create a double sided pendant with a gemstone bezel. I will show you how to create a flat-bed stone setting and use it as a bezel to hold your stone. This is a fun little setting that is really versatile and used in many designs. If you don't like the stone settings on the front, you can always replace these with gemstone rounds or copper beads :) Have fun!

    To clarify I meant in my previous comment that I've done channel setting with cz and small gems around the main stone as a bezel. Sorry that sounded confusing. Anyway thank you and I always look forward to your new videos. I have a page. Sarah Hutchison jewelry on fb but I really want to start an Etsy again. I did join your group on fb and I look forward to ordering some of the things you have to offer. Ok I'm done now. I promise. Lol thank u

      No need to apologise! Etsy is a good way to get started. It takes a bit of patience as sales are slow to begin with but if you pay for the occasional advert, it pays off! Good luck with it!! Pleased to see your work in my group! ❤️

    I'm so very inspired by your work. I'm trying this one and the hammered one at the same time. I messed up a couple times but they still turned out really nice. I've been working with wire for 8 years but I'm new to square and half round. It's really beautiful but difficult in ways. You really make it conceivable to me to be able to take it to another level. Thank you so much

      I am really pleased that you find it useful! Square and half round are a different kettle of fish but once you get used to it you won't go back to just round (that's what happened to me anyway haha) It makes me happy you feel inspired to give it a go. ❤️

    I've actually done channel setting with cz and small gemstones like you do in the front of this one and I used round wire. I used 6 wires and lifted up the middle 2 and did an open bezel to lay the point of the stone in then pulled the middle 2 back down. I really feel that square wire holds them better but I never tried half round. I ended up trying your design but with my same old trusted way. I can't wait to get the half round and try this though. You're a genius! Thank you

      There is no set way to do things. Everyone has their own way of creating and what works for me may not work for yu and vice versa. As long as you are happy with it and you are having fun, that is all that matters. Thank you so much for your kind comments!! ❤️

    I would love to know one thing though. Do you ever do gemstone bails? Just wondering because I kind of feel tempted to do them on some of your designs I have been trying. I like your style though.

    • @ImbaliCrafts
      @ImbaliCrafts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do them a fair bit, I think the Otodus sharktooth tutorial has a gemstone in the bail. :) I have a few PDF tutorials in my shop and, one on here :)

    Where did you get the small stones?

    • @ImbaliCrafts
      @ImbaliCrafts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I get a lot of my stones from instagram and some from ebay. As long as you go through paypal it is pretty safe to buy from there. Most sellers I have bought from are very reliable. :)
