I just watched it alone at home which did not help in enjoying it as it was intended I suppose. But tbh from watching the trailer I was expecting more. It didn't hit the mark for me. The plot was so random and it felt more like a disjointed sketch than a movie. Don't get me wrong I really appreciated the message behind it but the presentation fell flat for me. Also I think you as a white person handled this review very well without sounding offensive. Love your reviews btw. Hope you get the bigger recognition you deserve in the near future.
I totally understand. If i recall, the impetus for making this film actually stemmed form an old comedy sketch, so that definitely tracks. I'm glad I was able to get across my thoughts on the film without upsetting or offending anyone! (so far anyway *gulp*) Appreciate you watching and thank you for subscribing/commenting! @MovieMan101 Yeah that's true. I was searching for reviews then I came across the sketch. Not to be mean but I think the sketch was the best narrative part of the movie and it should've stayed as just that. Thank you for replying. Just followed you on instagram too.
