i have a versa 4, i am a fitness beginner and I am very happy with it.
yes it is expensive for a beginner item but it is worth it.
I first got a cheap tracker of off Amazon and it stopped working the moment i started sweating.
the Fitbit keeps working no matter how wet i get.
also it has lots of features that i don't currently use because i am a beginner but will start to use as my fitness journey continues.
so in short in my opinion, it is a solid beginner item that is going to last.

They took away the one thing that a ton of people use which is music storage. This is a BIG negative and the reason why I’ll keep my Versa 2. Sad when a significant number of people told the company the same thing but ignored the requests. It made the watch standout since other watches have all the other stuff now.
Also can you check if the battery percentage of the watch shows on apple batteries widget? If you have an iphone.
I only paid $149 for mine. For that price it's not a bad deal. It does the same stuff as my Versa 2.
Can you check if it support arabic language for the watch it self and notifications? Great review by the way.

As of now, with the update you can use the versa 4 to talk on it.

I got mine yesterday and nothing worked (almost returned it this morning but suddenly the App on my phone came on (nice) So I wore it all day...Problem the steps kept counting while in the car Kingston to Montreal ??? Is this something I can solve ???

I just upgraded from the Versa 2 to the Versa 4. I was so eager to upgrade, but this Versa 4 is a serious disappointment. I liked using the silent alarm function, which allowed me to set different wake up times for different days of the week. The V4 only seems to have one alarm setting, and doesn't specify the day. That means I will have to unset and reset the alarm each and every time I want to use it. (Update: even when I tried to use the alarm function it didn't work. Lucky I woke up on time.)(Yes, I synced it with my phone before going to bed.) The on-wrist call function - wow! What a big disappointment. What were they thinking? That function is useless to me. I don't even know why they made that. And the way the various functions appear on the screen has changed so much, it will take me a while to get comfortable and find my way around to what I'm looking for. I've been a Fitbit user for many, many years, and always been overjoyed when I upgrade to a new device. But this upgrade has convinced me to seriously consider switching to Apple watch. I feel like I wasted my money.
I'm so disappointed by the 4. It's like they focused primarily on the Pixel watch instead
I don't think they will discontinue Fitbit as it still has big name recognition. They might discontinue the Sense or the Versa line though
I ended up returning the Versa 4. I couldn't get past the feeling that they had removed a lot of the functions I like, and I didn't even enjoy wearing it anymore. I got an Apple Watch instead A.N.D..... I LOVE * LOVE * LOVE it! I just threw out years worth of Fitbit related stuff (chargers, bands, etc). I'm now a huge fan of Apple Watch. It does everything I wanted plus more! I actually love the wrist notifications, they are so sweet. (Oh, this video is about FB. I'll stop) Do what works for you, but don't feel locked into a brand just because you're used to it.
No Google Assistant, Music, phone. No purchase. Save your money and get the 3 or the Sense.
Basically what I said as well. Also no 3rd party apps either. They sound have waited to release it, or give more information on when the update was going to happen

That's a solid question. It's probably a good idea to contact Fitbit customer service for that
As of right now Versa 4 ($230) is more expensive than Sense 2 ($199) due to the early BF discounts. It seems like Fitbit/Google wants people to get the Sense 2!
I think it's because it didn't sell that well because it's missing so many features right now
I just got for Christmas from my sister I'm use this first time I'm watching this video I will say good thing you say that true last yeat year my parents got versa 3 but this year I got 4 and see different too many thing's out most membership coast too much even expire after 6 months you will get less and less that's not fair you spend too much money for the item and you receive nothing almost not much feature they should consider is worth it to people push to have health then charge them too much stuff special on something they going use every day fitbit change since Google took over ok years they on market should upgrade step up updates should for every one they make them not equal some like run some like walk some like to exercise only i see many different situation the people ok bye
I like this watch but i want to be able to talk into the watch with my friends and my family. It says it will come but when? Im worried because i really really like this watch
It should be able to do it out of the box. I wish there was a time grind for an update, but I still haven't heard anything

It has a speaker, but you won't be able to use it until the update. But we don't know how long that's going to be

It's all good. Yes you will be able to update it yourself. Just no promise when they update will happen

Good review. But you refer to the watch as "the band." That's like me referring to my new suit as the hanger. "I love the fabric of my new hanger" Everything else was helpful.
There is quite a debate on what the difference is between a fitness band and a smart watch. What's makes a smart watch a smart watch? I essentially break it down into if the device focuses more on fitness or on being and smart watch. I can see what you mean here, but every time I say band I am just shortening it from fitness band
When I walk a verified mile with my Versa 4, it only calculates 8.5 tenths. Any ideas?

Sadly it does not support the Arabic language. I would definitely try to reach out to Fitbit if that is something they are working on. Hopefully that is helpful
