Fantastic video! I still play both BotW and TotK. Just finish TotK, then restart BotW and play through both over and over. And I prefer Zelda content over everything else. So, I assume that’s why this video was recommended to me. I had an enormous smile on my face through the whole thing. Probably my favorite review of TotK so far. I will sub now, since I’m very curious what kind of channel you’ll be. Good luck! If you post more about Zelda, I’ll definitely watch it 😅.
Hey, thank you very much, I really appreciate that. I know that exact experience, watching youtube videos on a lunch break, so if it's serving that purpose for anyone, I'm pretty happy about it.
@@EspyGee I also sent the video to the few friends I know of who like to watch longer videos about games. Hope the algorythm picks up on your channel sooner rather than later because I love videos like these
this is a very good video i enjoyed it. very well made cleanly edited video with an engaging script. you are skilled at telling a good story. your avatar is so scary but other than that very good video
Nice vid. I think the only thing disagree with is saying the dungeons lack lore significance. I think it’s more that they aren’t straight forward with it. It’s food for theorist, but lackluster in a story perspective. Like, looking at the architecture shows a reverence to animals resembling the Divine Beasts. The Gerudo Temple wall art seem to especially imply that a camel-like animal similar to Vah Naboris seemed to have existed at one point, which most likely was revered so much that they inspired the design of Vah Naboris. Not only that, but the Fire Temple is an entire lost city, meaning the Goron’s lived there at one point. It’s interesting because the architecture and technology is pretty beyond what Goron’s typically use, which include very crude builds and simplistic ways of life. Yet the design of the temple is so stylistic and complex that one can’t help but wonder how smart the past Gorons were or whether the Zonai worked closely with the Gorons. I think the Water Temple is probably the only temple that lacks least in world implications of what it was used for beyond what the game tells you.
Y'know, that's all pretty fair. I'm not always the most observant when it comes to these things, so the realizations usually come afterward, when somebody points things out to me. Like, I hadn't even considered the complexity of the Fire Temple in comparison to "modern" Goron society, like you mentioned. That's a good catch. I'm sure that, same as with Breath of the Wild, this is one of those games that people will keep analyzing up and down for years to come, so I'm sure I'll learn a lot more as time goes on.
I enjoyed and appreciated this video. What I did not enjoy was TH-cam recommending "Which NPC is based on Taylor Swift" to me on the sidebar, as well as 7th Heaven Season 1, Episode 1.
You're saying my video ISN'T similar in nature to the premier episode of 7th Heaven, in which Simon wants a dog, Matt wants to try smoking, and Mary asks for advice about kissing boys? NO, I did not just look that up. I know these things by heart. Joke's on you, the video was directly inspired by 7th Heaven. I just couldn't get the rights, so I didn't use the names.
I have never felt more blue balled by a video in my life. Well played.
This is such a great video. It’s new it’s fresh and the animation is is highly nostalgic for a late 90s child like me, 10/10 def subbing for more
