Toward the end of the day one day a Japanese co-worker asked if I wanted a PRESS PASS to the BB King/Ray Charles concert. What a deal, total access! But suddenly I remembered: My girlfriend was already on the train from Osaka and expected me to meet her at the station. This was before cell phones so I couldn't reach her on the train. Couldn't very well leave her waiting at the station. So I missed it. 😫😫 Thanks for posting, so I can see what I missed 30 years later!

I know people will disagree but love the blues guitar seen most of the greats including BB but to me BB just plays the same few licks all the time. It does little for me as a guitar player.
Mr. B.B. King had to drop out of school in the 7th grade to pick cotton in Mississippi. He had to educate himself. He would learn shot sentences in French. Spanish, Italian, etc. A lot of this are in a museum in Mississippi.
