@@PopSituation What's wrong with Rift Apart? It looks a lot like the old games but better, and it's 60 FPS, just like the old games. I know gaming is opinionated, but what's so bad about Rift Apart?

It's fantastic to see a developer stick with their franchise so closely and still manage to pump out satisfying sequels year after year. Really wish the same could be said of other PlayStation series popular in the early to mid-2000s like Sly Cooper and Jak and Daxter.

It’s unrealistic to expect totally different developers to capture the sample magic as the devs for Sly and Jack. What made these game great were the devs, not the company they were working under off. And the OG devs are long gone
Sly is by far the best adventure series of PS it gets neglected because it's a major underdog,Thieves in Time was fantastic and it's literally a jewel considering it was made by other devs and they simply nailed it but because it is and was an underdog didn't sold well and now Sony dosn't care about it anymore.
Please, just release a Ratchet & Clank collection for the PS5.

This is the best ad Sony has ever made. I remember playing each of these games when they launched. This feels like my own room as a kid. And now Rift Apart next week! I am beyond excited.
This saga has been on Playstation for several years and I am glad that it continues to this day.

This reminds me of that PS4 commercial where two guys playing from PS1 to PS4, one of the best console ad I have ever seen. I wish PS5 have the same commercial.
Just wishful thinking, but I would love for Insomniac to port the PS2 and PS3 Ratchet and Clank games to PS4 and PS5
To be honest I love these throwback commercials so much , this and the "for the players" commercial are probably in the upper echelon of ads

Honestly watching this video, from 2002 to 2021 the franchise definitely has a more cinematic and action-packed look and feel to it, I'm not mad

Cinematic can be bothersome if there isn't enough videogame in there. Considering the shape of the industry these days many games ought to be films but thankfully most of SONY's exclusives have tasty gameplay to back up the cinematic flare.

I hope that if they do, they fix all the visual bugs that were in the HD editions. Or even better, they have the tech, and the time, just take all the audio, and update them with ps5 graphics...unlike what they did with the reboot.
Insomniac Games should make a collection of the saga for PS5.
Insomniac is doing incredible making games, let Bluepoint or someone else remake or put together collections.

Still gotta play this series. I have the HD Collection on Vita, and the "remake" on PS4. Hope they remaster the Future Collection with trophies for PS5.

The series peaked at Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal, A Crack in Time was the closest to get to that level.
I personally prefer Crack just a tiny bit more than GC, but fair opinion

I don't know if you guys know this but every time PlayStation drop a new system I have to upgrade my TV, upgrade cables I love it because it keeps you up to date with technology also ratchet and clank it's a classic

Pre ordered for my Kid's but I'm definitely going to run through it, too! The visuals are exactly what the PS5 hardware is meant for!
It's also going to really show off how the adaptive triggers and the haptic feedback on the ps5 controller really feel when they use those features to develop how guns work in the game
I never played any of the R&C games before but i remembered seeing my older siblings played then while I grew up.

What is really impressive here is all the merchandise shown around the room as the series evolved.
However you can’t get a lot of it, which is sad. They really need to work on making those products available again, and/or making more.
So they’re willing to acknowledge the old games but not let me play them on PS4 or PS5. Awesome
