Thank you for this- A really charming video of a charming place (except for the first few minutes when I thought "Oh No, modern office blocks & flats....") . The narrow olde worlde streets reminded me of southern France. I especially liked all the patterned pavements & squares.
I loved seeing everything except the Graffiti I was born in Portugal but left when I was very young I will be going to see Lisbon for the first time this year.

There are two ladies going up speaking in Italian . One seems to be helping the other upstairs but she is not, they recognised her as a Pickpocketer and they are warning her : "Mind your wallet , mind your wallet " and because she listens to them but doesn't seem to care they call her stupid. The group further down is worried because she is yelling and it will spoil your video. One was an Italian tourist and the Pickpocketer was probably a eastern European gypsy , they are all fluent in Italian because they get their training in Italy.
The old lady was telling the women comming up the stairs to close her opened purse, but this lady was ignoring her not even turning away, so the old lady called her stupid, saying how she was only trying to warn her and she didn´t care.

It's a capital city, with several levels of personal income and social status. It's normal that some places are nicer looking and wealthier than others. If you've never been to a city in Europe prepare for the innevitable shock if you ever travel here and wander off away from the tourist friendly areas. FIY, there is a phenomenon which affects mainly Japanese tourists when they go to Paris and get emotionally floored when they're forced to face the fact that the poetic ideal they have of the city doesn't match reality. Paris isn't just the Eiffel Tower, London isn't just Parliament and the Big Ben, Rome isn't just the Coliseum and Lisbon isn't just the pretty sights by the river.
I love the blue sky...it makes me calm and the tiles that show the history...so beautiful
