AHHH! What a crazy adventure. Thank you all so much for watching, and being a part of this with us. Big thanks to the Eater team for supporting and refining this vision, you guys are GOLD. Have you been to Portugal? If not, what is your favorite place to travel to for food?
Amazing! Your filming is so real and beautiful. Is there a term for when someone else's memories match exactly your own experience? A deja vu but passed between strangers? Cause I had the same day a few years ago down to the "not the most efficient operation"
next time you're in Portugal check out the local eateries called "tascas"...i guess you could call them restaurants, but they're more like little eating halls with a limited menu, where the local working class folks eat lunch for a reasonable price ... it's the closest thing you'll get to eating homemade Portuguese food without being in someones home..but nice video..you guys seem like really sweet parents too
Iz Harris Been to Portugal and love the people and food! If you’re ever in Portugal it’s not about the Pastel de Nata(they are still good)! Try the amazing dishes as in the following: the chorizo (smoked sausage) with Raspberry jam , pasteis de bacalhau(codfish pastry), sardines, or end the afternoon with a drink of Porto or Ginjiha with cheese. Check out Alfama district, Sintra, Porto ,Cascais, and Algarve! Tip: Although walking is the best way to explore Lisbon. Uber is affordable there. Rides are usually €5-13. Tram 28 is good but has become to touristy(like the cable cars in San Francisco). When eating out, avoid places where you see people advertising their restaurant or anything with a really big English menu. The more you can’t understand and the more locals is better. My husband and I just got back from Lisbon....that piri piri chicken place was hands down amazing! We got lucky and arrived at 2pm, right when she was about to close and prep for dinner. There was no line and we got the table outside. The rice was fantastic, along with the tomato salad, olives, and chips. Thank you for posting this video!
The video was so good! I love the way you tansmit your experience about that beautiful place as Lisboa, the gastronomy and how it is doing that type of holidays with your family. However, I liked the spontaneous moment when you wanted to go to the castle, the engine of the train blew up but even with that, you just go to the castle by walking. Thanks for posting that video, I love the way you film/edit your videos!
I really love your video! You’re the best Guide ! After watching this video I decide that next destination will be Portugal. Thanks for showing that you can travel with a family and babies. It’s a great place for quiet vacation and enjoy culture, food and views.

Operation wasn't great, and we thought the customer service was pretty rough (and believe me, we're not snobs about customer service -- we don't expect much). What an awesome video.
Currently editing my vlog from Lisbon and loved watching this! Excited to have found this channel because I love the style it is presented and shot!
WAIT! I just discovered you all, and now I find you on a channel that has 1.3M subs. I need another YT channel to watch like I need a hole in the head. My life has been overtaken by vicarious experience. I definitely need to get out more. Rock on!
Never mind, I get it now. Nice gig. Carry on!
she's my favorite filmmaker on youtube!!
Great filming and editing. 👌
The walk to the castle: there are 2 elevators that helps you get there in no time. You passed through one of them actually 😂😂
Wow! Her video skills are amazing
mars inhabitant is Johnny behind the camera
@@AJ-jt4ti no it's her, I checked her TH-cam channel and she's really good
@@AJ-jt4ti wrong. I held the camera from time to time but this was planned, written, shot, and edited by Iz. It's a shame (though not surprising) that you assumed otherwise.
@@johnnyharris oh cmon man, don't go calling patriarchy if you don't know the dude. Maybe he really thought it was you. Props to whoever made the video, any sex gender race size or color that person was, it was very good
@@chicoktc Amen! It happens so often, people assuming I shoot Iz's video. Total bummer that she gets that presumption at every turn.
I love the lady host. Shes a natural. Love it.
Love both you guys, your videos are so engaging and interesting and topped with humour, that they just connect! Do an episode in India, we've got some amazing food and some killer sights!
I was in Lisbon some month ago and i absolutely loved it and the food is so good😫
Loving the family format. Great presentation
thanks so much for watching!
I'm glad you came to my country, and made a very good video out of it, nice pictures, i know you have other places to go but if you ever can come back to Portugal, try the Algarve in the summer, or maybe some other part of the country, I'm from the north, if you ever come here just don't in the winter time, it's very cold and bloomy
Well done ! Booking tix to Lisbon now!
Love this!!!!
Really enjoyable watching this
Finally Portugal!! YES!! MY COUNTRY!! ALSO, so happy to see that everyone likes pastéis de nata! Also, yeah, with pastéis de nata in Manteigaria or in Pastéis de Belem, they are (or at least everyone says) different! I don’t like pastéis de Belém, but I like pastéis de nata!
Carolina Alves that egg tart is Chinese
I am addicted! and your country is BEAUTIFUL
