From what I can ascertain from this vid, it rides like a smoother Ducati Monster 937. Easy to ride. Flickable. Acceleration seems so damn close. And for WAY less money.
Unfortunately I never ridden an Ducati, but your comparison seems to be on the point 👌
@@MotoAddicted I managed to a few times and even had one on order until Ducati messed my order up. The same fun factor is there with this hornet it seems.
The torque at every rpm seems impressive

From 2k rpm 3rd gear the hands are ripped off.

Always enjoy watching your "chill" rides 😁... Im coming from a versys 650. Tried yamaha's xsr900 cp3 and loved the torque. How does the torque compare with cp2, cp3 or a triumph boni series 900cc?

Regarding the bikes comparisons I don’t have to much experience with those bikes…but the only bike that is probably comparable is the MT07!
nice ride! the quickshifter seems to be very smooth :) like the one from Trident 660 which is a triple cylinder engine. usualy 2 cylinders have clunky quickshifters.

I sat on the hornet in my local dealership and I have to say it is a compact bike. Ergonomics are great. If you are a lanky sod then maybe it won’t be suitable. For us humans it will be fine. 😂

Wishing for a hi seat or peg adjust for more leg room. The 500x was perfect height. At 6' tall, it was not comfy

i have the bike and quickshifter, mine doesn't seem smooth at all you have to stomp on the gear to change it... am i doing something wrong
Probably you need to revit a little more, but Im not doing anything special!

A new exhaust would definitely increase the sound quality, the stock is not too bad 😅
