Short explanation of how to set up a multiple monitors for Microsoft Flight Simulator using Nvidia Surround and 2 graphic card - Nvidia GTX 770 and GT 620
This is great. Exactly the system I am ready to build. i have the PC being made, the software and TVs purchased, the Touch screen on the way, all the Saitek equipment exactly the same as you did. This gives me awesome ideas and confidence that my concepts where correct!!!! Thank you. You've done an outstanding job and are great to post this for everybody to learn from. What crazy is I have my PPL but fly anymore, this will be my new airplane.... thanks again.
Thank you! I have been messing around with surround and fsx for a few hours and didn't realize I could resize the pop-ups to be smaller. Many many thanks and very nice set up :)
This has been really helpful, thank you. The only thing that I could not do was to get the scaling set to full screen, it keeps defaulting back to no scaling but the display still looks ok.
Many thanks Marek. If I achieve what you have I will be super happy. I'll had a mind to build a cockpit shape wooden box in the yard - on wheels so it can be moved and stored in my out house.... Saw something similar on the Web. Best regards
Great set up. I have same 3 monitors top (using Triplehead 2go) and one below for gauges and dials but i cant show cockpit gauges in 4 monitor even if i re-size. I have to undock it to show otherwise it will not when i move it. Any ideas?
i been putting off setting up NVIDIA surround cuz i thot it would B over my lil' head,,, but this vid' shows everything i needed to finally get it working. tnx, it helped immensely! it's easy to follow along and fun to watch too,,, i especially like when he says "i'am not a computr expert so pls don't hate me" that was funny:) but maybe that's y this vid is so easy to understand, and y i got a lot out of it? i mean,,, hav u ever listened to a so called COMPUTER EXPERT try to explain something? they seem to skip over basic stuff a beginner (like ME!) wants to know and then go on and on about stuff THEY think is important (but really isn't HAHA)
Great info. I' am going to try to duplicate your system. I am a pvt pilot and I'm going to mount the setup in the back of a van and do aviation programs at schools. Been involved in young eagle flights for some years, and would like to continue to promote aviation careers with young people, I lost my medical a couple years ago, & want to stay involvedThanks enjoyed all your videos
Marek , Absolutely fantastic video. I ran into a situation where my system crashed and had to rebuild it from scratch. I had five 24 inch monitors running on two computers. This iswith the basic Saitek controls used by usb ports. I am trying to copy your configuration . The question I have for you is that just like any other FSX pilot. We have built our systems piece by piece over the years. Mine was done for the last 25 years. So it is a little odd. But it worked great. I would upgrade where necessary and add certain hardware controls , aircraft , scenery and interfaces. So now my setup has to be rebuilt by scratch. How would you do it? I think your system is perfect. But how would you do it? If you had to do it from scratch like me. Thanks Pete
Bam Bam, for some reason I can not leave a comment under your post. First of all thanks for kind words. As of MFD it is made by Desktop Aviator. Cost is about $ 250 I like it a lot. Good luck with your project !!
+Marek Marciniak I have the same setup. On 11:38 i cannot get the instrument panel to show so i can drag it to the 4th monitor I assume due to the wide screen. Did you change any setting? thanks!
Marek Marciniak can you help me? I have bought a three monitor set up to pay FSX.When l fly and hit F10 it gives me a black screen instead of the cockpit & I have a flashing curser.
Do you know if the cockpit panel will only accommodate the Saitek yoke or can others possibly fit? I've gone to a similar triple screen setup and am now considering adding hardware panels. I'm considering the cockpit panel that you used to add the various Saitek modules. However, I have an older CH yoke right now but I see a lot of negative reviews regarding the Saitek yoke. I'm looking at other yoke options and was wondering if that's going to be an issue unless I go with Saitek.
Hi i have almost the same but when i set FSX-Steam Edition to 5760x1080 my mouse starts flashing the hour glass like a mad man and cockpit does not show.Any ideas on this Thanks
Hey Marek What for a Monitor do you use for GPS? I dont wanna use the radiopanel, what should I do with this free space? Can i use a 6th monitor for commiunication with tower? (Fsx has a tab for this and i dont want to have this on the 3 main screens)! Last but no least: In your video about your cockpit, you have on the bottom right other switch panels, who aren't from saitek! Where can I buy these? Thanks for your Help! (And sorry for my bad english, i'm from switzerland)
is there a way to use 3D virtual cockpit but in multimonitor mode with zoomed out to see whats to the sides too? I have 3 monitors, 1.landscape, 2.portrait, 3.landscape, so I would see left-right window in the 1.3. display and front+instruments on the middle portrait.... did not figure out yet how, I don't have surroind setting yet as not nvidia stuff, but will try some app to make 1 from my 3 monitors
I first watched this 4 years ago and I'm wondering if you've made any changes or improvements? I'm thinking of buying the Advanced Panel that is now on sale for $199. Have the Saitek (now Logitech) instrument panels held up over time?
Hey, honestly the system is in boxes since i had to use my man cave for a newborn 😂. But i am planning to unpack it when the new Microsoft flight sim.is released. I will let u know how everything works.
I have been using FS9 with 8 monitors for a year or so now but I want to move on to FSX. Is there a way to set up 8 monitors so that I can look back over my shoulders to judge the right moment to turn on to base leg in the landing circuit?
I do have some issues with having my controls setting to save. when i set it before flying i get my rudder brake and rudder reset to ailerons in flight. How to i get the settings to stay set?
Hello, I just wanted to ask about the graphic card. I tried to do the same with 980ti 6 gb graphic card, but it looks like the computer is not able to manage 4 monitors event if it is possible to attach 5 monitors. Do you recommend me any especial configuration? Thanks in advance
please tell me what the MDF device was and who makes it. this is almost exactly like the set am building for!!! thanks you just save me tons of time an money but i am glad to know i am on the right track.
I was able to setup the 5760x high res across my three 1920x1080 monitors... but when I set the game to that resolution then play it, its super stretched if spanning 3 monitors... halp!
Hey Marek Great video and don'y undersell yourself. You have created a great set-up and it's exactly what I want to do. Can you provide a list of things that I will need to buy and do to achieve the same objective? Heck... I'd even pay you for your efforts. Best regards
Alan Tyrrell Hey buddy. Thanks for watching and kind words. Ok that is nice and is what I want to do but, do you have to set everything up again when you start the computer or is it a way to save all the setup on Microsoft Flight Sim so when you start the computer eveything will be the way you had it
Mario. Rodriguez unfortunately yes, i have to start from scratch. I think there is a program that remembers your setup and starts the sim the way you left it , not sure of the name
Hey, Marek! Very good video. I'm having problemsrunning FSX on Nvidia b/c my PMDG 737 shows up huge spreaded over the three (identical) monitors, plus a flickering cursor. I can send you a picture ifyou wish. DO you have any ideas why this occur? (I already changed the fsx.cfg wideaspectview to True). Many thanks
not sure if that would work. It has to be a gaming laptop with a NVidia card that is capable of spanning the view between 3 screens. I would say the hub is not a solution
Marek Marciniak ok, maybe when I have enough money in a few years i'll get a bigger powerful PC like yours, but for now, will a HDMI Hub allow me to plug different screens in and use them for GPS, flight display panels etc... ?
... nice , however, in IMHO on this kind of setup, performance would be degraded to the lowest denominator which is the GT620 or what ever less capable GPU you have. Mean, on a multi GPU setup try to keep the same GPU cards.
I have everything except that back lit panel. Would you consider selling just that piece by itself? I cant find those anywhere because Logitech/saitek does not make those anymore.
This is great. Exactly the system I am ready to build. i have the PC being made, the software and TVs purchased, the Touch screen on the way, all the Saitek equipment exactly the same as you did. I just wonder how you get rid of the fish eye effect. I can't see any stretching on the scenery. How did you do it?
Thank you! I have been messing around with surround and fsx for a few hours and didn't realize I could resize the pop-ups to be smaller. Many many thanks and very nice set up :)
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching!

Hey there did you get the help with your monitor.... i know its been a month but glad to help if you need it.

This panel is designed strictly for saitek products. Most likely other equipment will not fit.

When start game, select aircraft and fly.. Triple screen has been ready display like this video? How to setup in fsx?
I was able to setup the 5760x high res across my three 1920x1080 monitors... but when I set the game to that resolution then play it, its super stretched if spanning 3 monitors... halp!
If you weren't using a monitor for gps, could you have run the other 4 monitors all off the 770gtx? They do 4 right? Thanks for the videos.
Brian T i dont think so. I think the 4th connection is passive
Any reason why you dont switch the lights on?
The 4th monitor (instruments panel), would it help if it was a touch monitor?
I dont think so. The touch screen woul be good for a overhead panel .
nice set up .... have you heard of SPAD.next drivers for the saitek panels ?
Merek what GPS Unit are you using?
thank you ! really helped me.
Beautiful setup!!!
BioNova Products thanks !
This is fabulous and I am setting up my own copy. What mode are you starting FSX in before you bring up the cockpit graphics?
Just the default mode. Thanks for watching!

Ok that is nice and is what I want to do but, do you have to set everything up again when you start the computer or is it a way to save all the setup on Microsoft Flight Sim so when you start the computer eveything will be the way you had it

Just save a flight once you have configured everthing how you like it, then next time you switch on, just liad the flight......simples!
Really nice! All this on 1 PC and 2 GPU's? What kind of frame rates are you getting? Would love to see another video with your system in action!
Yes sir. I set up for locked 30 fps. Works like a charm.
Man that is a beautiful cockpit. I wish you my neighbor ! hehe .... Oh! I have sister you wanna meet her?... LOL

Dear Marek...
can you help me to set up my multi monitors for FSX ...plz
Hi I really appreciate your help I want a set up like yours but I got few issues...pls help
Many thanks
Tony Reis Sorry, i have no idea. Try the regular 737 and see if same thing happens ?
Hey Marek,
How I save the images on each monitor, or I need setup all monitors again if I leave the game and back the game again?

HELP I ONLY HAVE THE 3D settings on my navida control panel
nice setup
What monitors are you using?
Brett Arnold asus
Can you set this up with a laptop as the main pc, and 3 HDMI ports?
I have 2 video cards. You could connect an external graphic cards and run the 4th monitor from the second card. Does your laptop has 3 HDMI cards ?
Marek Marciniak 1 HDMI port, but a HDMI hub with four on it. I did not know you could get external graphics cards.
not sure if that would work.
SpinFlySim267 i dont think so. Yo need to power these monitors from the graphic cards
... nice , however, in IMHO on this kind of setup, performance would be degraded to the lowest denominator which is the GT620 or what ever less capable GPU you have. Mean, on a multi GPU setup try to keep the same GPU cards.
Anyway of using more monitors for a complete 360 view?
Not sure. I dont think that would be practical
Does this setup works witth msfs 2020?
not sure, it's been awhile...
If you were willing to sell your back lit information panel, how much would you be willing to sell it for??
Jonny G i would probably want to sell the whole thing
I have everything except that back lit panel. Would you consider selling just that piece by itself? I cant find those anywhere because Logitech/saitek does not make those anymore.
Jonny G sorry but most likely not
Bummer. Well, please let me know if you change your mind. That is the only piece i need to complete my setup. Thanks anyway
