@@nintendoborn The butterfly is an important part of the Kirby lore as it appears in nearly, if not all of the games. It acts as an emissary of death as it takes souls that last for far too long such as Elfilis Soul and Galacta Knight, though the Galacta Knight fight is non-canon.

Kirby Squeak Squad had a feature where the lower screen is Kirby's "stomach" and you could hold onto healing items or abilities and save them for later.

About the Ship, it's sentient. If you pause during that boss fight segment, it mentions it's being controlled by Magolor, and in the Extra Mode, it mentions about it wanting to be stopped.
Magolor also states the ship has a mind of its own if you get all the Energy Spheres - and in the light novel adaptation, they say the Lor is actually the reason all the Super Ability enemies and dimensional rifts to the Doomers show up, trying to help fix itself by leading Kirby to the parts!

Man, I remember fighting magalor with my younger cousin, he said “How would anyone get hit by that black hole attack?” CHOC DID TWICE 😂
In case you play the epilogue, make sure you check the pause screen for extra lore when fighting bosses!
In the lore the ship is a living being bound to obey it's master until it's master or it leaves this plane of existence (or something like that)

About that Kirby game where you can store abilities, it has happened and the name is Squeak Squad. Also happened in the Milky Way Wishes from Kirby Super Star.

Btw, Landia (the dragons) were never bad, they were guarding the crown from anyone trying to take it as they are immune to its corruption
In Extra Mode, that's not the case as the boss description mentions even they can't fully control it's power.
If you don't want to make videos of extra mode since its just the story mode but harder, i recommend you beat it off screen and have your final episode be the true arena once you unlock it. It's very hard and has a lot of surprises.

I wonder if you will try to play the EX Mode, is technically a harder mode of the Story Mode and cuts your health in half and many bosses get powered up and re-colored.
Their attack patterns are different too + some of them have new movesets aswell.
Also, it doesn't cut your health by half, it's only 40% HP of 100% HP in Main Mode, so it cuts down your health by 60% in Extra Mode.
AND the bosses hit harder to boot. Might as well be quadruple damage

It's fine, it's just because it's gatcha and i try to stay clear of those. I do play it sometimes since it's on Switch now, though.

Technically yes the Lor Starcutter is sentient and can auto-pilot.
Apparently when Magolor found the ship it kind of sensed his nefarious intentions which is why it didn't help when fighting Landia.
Ill miss the time where kirby used the 3rd mike level and he would scream with a extremely deep voice like a heavy metal style "DESTROY!!!" (i think he screams that)

If you mess up a puzzle or challenge that has a door you can you go back through (it has a red star over it), you can attempt as many times as you need to get it right.

They took a lot from this game for the Ghaleem and Dharkon fight.

Really enjoyed the let's play so far, but I really recomend not stopping at the end of story mode, because in kirby games basically half of the game is outside of the main story mode, so I hope you play and enjoy this wonderfull game to it's fullest, even if you do it on your own time
For me I mostly use magalor epilogue mask cause it sounds cool also if u 100% normal mode and extra mode and all the other game modes u get a gold Kirby mask

5:20 -ish. If I remember the game correctly. You can essentially keep certain abilities and swap them out (they are kept in "kirbys belly" at the bottom ds screen) in Kirby Squeak Squad
I believe most were used for later puzzles in the levels,so it's not free range of any ability, but that is the closest we have of what you asked :)

the magalor epilogue bonus is basially supposed to explain what happened to magolor as well as why he jsut sorta turns good in later games (yes he appears in a couple later games)

But for an entire Kirby game with that idea, I guess Squeak Squad would be the closest, with it allowing you do store multiple abilities for later use.
Kirby 64 was possibly the best Kirby game for me just being able to play different ways with so many abilities and you could mix them all from what I remember.

By the way, anything that involves mashing the control stick (spark, grand hammer, the final ultra sword attack, etc...) can be done faster by shaking your controller, and with spark you can even move as it charges. (It works with both the pro controller and joy cons so it doesn't matter what controller you use).
Kirby 64 has combo copy abilities which can do some cool stuff
Choc if you mean by holding mutable abilities Kirby squeak squad has a inventory system where you can hold food items and abilities

Congrats on the victory, Choc! Seems like this was a fun playthrough! Kirby game always do have some great final bosses! If they remastered this game, maybe that means other Wii games will be ported to the Switch as well. It still shocks me that they never rereleased Mario Galaxy 2 in any form for the Switch.
To the more than 1 ability holding thing it is in superstar (I think) ( a submode)(need to collect totems to unlock them permanently in the mode)

Secret final boss in Frontiers was probably my favorite part of the whole game. Felt like actual substance instead of just flash like Sonic usually ends up being in 3d.

Okay Guardian Tales is genuinely so good I'd absolutely recommend it. One note is that there's more worlds on mobile than on Switch, I think mobile is up to world 15 or so.

To avoid getting sucked into the black hole, just run away from it, and to dodge the laser, you can also duck under it.
Also, Landia was not possesed by the crown, they were guarding it and only they are strong willed enough to not fall under its possession.

When you mentioned wanting a game where you can store Copy Abilities, that's basically the gimmick of Squeak Squad on the DS. You should play it sometime! It's not the best Kirby game, but it's a pretty good one!

Oh yeah, Choc when you have one final one left for the mic, you can hold the attack button and shake your joycon to charge, and it will do a different attack. And the voice that Kirby makes... it's quite iconic. Oh yes, MOTION CONTROL WORKS

For the black hole attack all you gotta do is run from it
So, will you be going through the True Arena? To unlock it, you need to beat Extra mode and Magolor's epilogue along with finishing the base arena. I will recommend you go tornado as you're invulnerable the entire time and can deal good burst damage at the end.

as for multiple abilities - Milky Way Wishes in Super Star has this as it's main mechanic (you can't get abilities from inhaling enemies and need to find copy essence pedestals instead to unlock new ones, that you can switch between at any time)
alternatively, Squeak Squad (5-slot inventory, abilities found in bubbles can be kept in there for later or mixed together to get other abilities, a special ability, Bubble, allows you to create bubbled abilities from enemies)

Choc if you want food that's really good for macros if you are trying to cut and get in shape i gotta recommend beef jerky, canned or pouch tuna, and lots of chicken breast. All of them have a higher than 1.25 gram of protein per 10 calories which is one of the best ratios you can get for food. Keep grinding and get jacked brother:D
