It's funny but some in the comment section are questioning the reliability of CF Moto not realizing the company has been making scooters/motorcycles and all terrain vehicles since 1989 (35 yrs). They just started selling to western countries in recent yrs. They are like the HONDA of those vehicles in China and S.E. Asia.

Everytime I watched any video about cfmoto there'll be a comment questioning the reliability. Well most European bikes got reliability issues in their earlier years and people's still buying them just because it's better bikes from their Japanese counterpart. Japanese bikes were well known for their reliability but in order to keep that's reliability title their bikes tends to get bored in time. Cfmoto at least have a good starting price and you'll get cool setup (mostly copying European brands). Just imagine you get a European bike with a price lower than japanese bike. Yes you might not get the bulletproof reliability but you're getting much cooler bike with cheaper price. Regarding parts availability it's up to where you lives. In my country it's easier to get parts for cfmoto compared to European brands. And it's way cheaper too.

Fewer cylinders in a supersport application where high end hp and high revs matter, is not the way to go.
3 cylinders is awesome in streetfighters like the Speed and Street triple, but you want high HP in a supersport application. Why do you think the vast majority of supersport bikes have inline 4 cylinders, not 2 or 3. Even Duc went to a V4 engine.

The new 'Daytona' is essentially a Street Triple 660/A2 with fairings, which holds a nice stable line for touring but you have to wrestle it at speed; doesn't tip in, rudimentary suspension. Hopefully the CF's shorter wheelbase, steeper trail, lower bars, better suspension in addition to its sports-intended frame and ergos, accumulate into a notable improvement. Curious how much more you could juice out of the engine as it's just empty space above 11k rpm, I would hope +15hp at the very least with a full system/ de-cat and tune. The seat and pegs also suggest a design for sitting further back, and the front forks look like there's 50% more travel. Aesthetically much better and less cringe than 450SR. Excited to test it.
