    Those look like some pretty sturdy ships you’re on…… Totally worth the hurdling to see those giants though!

      I was frightened it was going to be an awful experience, but as it turned out, the scuba diving with them was fantastic

    I am heading to the Philippines July 2024 you have definitely convinced me to dive rather than snorkel the Whale Sharks

      Diving was the far better option.

    Wow! Love your content. This was the first time I saw a vlogger diving in oslob whaleshark. Diving is much better than snorkeling above the surface of the sea but I think diving is more expensive than snorkeling 🤔☺️

      We were very lucky, due to the waves the fishermen were forced to feed the whale sharks away from the shelf, which made for great diving!
      I'm glad you're enjoying the vlog 👍
      Thank you

    While in Cebu don’t forget to do canyonnering in Kawasan falls, swimming with millions of sardines and sea turtles in Moalboal, diving with thresher sharks in Malapascua island

      Apart from the canyonnering everything else you have mentioned can be found on this channel 👍

    Love your vids, going to Cebu & Malapascua in October for similar experiences and they are super helpful and informative and with good vibes. Wanted to ask which light you use with your gopro (I have a hero9)

      Thank you for the comments. You'll have a great time on your trip 👍
      I've attached a link to a video where I talk about my camera equipment. In the description of that video is a link to the dive touches I use to light my videos. I hope this helps.

    Agree These are like baby whales …compared to the one in Donsol and northern of Luzon the ethical way if you want it …the risk is you don’t likely see these whales immediately probably after few hours or days..? Luv watching ur videos…luv these animals !Watching from France ✌🏻

    I have been conflicted about this experience and have therefore avoided it; but your video and comments have me reconsidering it for a future trip. Being married to a Filipino, I go at least once a year; sometimes more, esp. with hubby's upcoming retirement. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and video.

      The Philippines has world-class diving. Diving with the whale sharks was an amazing experience. I would not do it or promote it if I didn't think it was safe for the animals. The whale sharks are babies, and they don't rely on the fishermen for food. As they get bigger they go further afield. Personally, the diving was far better than snorkelling. The snorkelling was a little chaotic. Diving, we were the only ones under there.

    Great video and info. I see you also were in Moalboal. Did you take the car transport from there or Cebu City to Oslob?

    • @DivingandDogs
      @DivingandDogs  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for the question.
      We did were on a dive package.
      We flew into Cebu City, travelled to Moalboal (the dive center at Moalboal arranged transport, dive guides to Oslob) from Moalboal we went up to Malapascua Island, then back to Cebu.

    How much for the scuba?

    • @DivingandDogs
      @DivingandDogs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did it through the dive center I was diving with.
      I guess different dive centers charge different rates depending on how far you have to travel with them to Oslob.

      @@DivingandDogs that's high but not too bad. Is that in US dollars? I'm off to Bali in a couple of days. Do you recommend Big Fish on nusa Lembongan. I normally use a different dive company but a change doesn't hurt. You convinced me to get the go pro hero 10

    • @DivingandDogs
      @DivingandDogs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Shaboh1060 you can't go wrong with a gopro. Lucky you off to Bali. There are several dive companies on the island of Lembongan, as you know. I liked Big Fish because I had a great time with the guys. I've been diving with them on and off for ten years. They are also based in a lively part of the island, and I stay close. I've subscribed to your channel, so I'll be interested to see your dive footage.

    Whale shark has no teeth.

    • @DivingandDogs
      @DivingandDogs  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for the comment. whale shark's teeth are so tiny that they can only eat small shrimp, fish, and plankton by using their gill rakers as a suction filter.
