We've had the pleasure of diving at Biaha several times recently-in March, June, and July-and each experience has been just as incredible as the last. The encounters with the frogfish in the cave were absolutely mesmerizing. The walls are teeming with loads of colorful nudibranchs, adding to the site's vibrant underwater scenery. Biaha is undoubtedly one of our favorite dive spots. The combination of unique marine life, stunning underwater landscapes, and the sense of adventure it offers makes it stand out. It's easily in my top three dive sites off Bali, right up there with the renowned spots around Penida and Lembongan. If you haven't had the chance to dive at Biaha yet, I highly recommend it-it's an experience you won't forget! 🌊🐟🌴

@DivingandDogs I'll be sure to check them out when I'm back in April (after rainy season). What were the water temps, if you recall...when I've dive PB, it was 24°-26°.

Hey there! When it comes to diving off the coast of Bali, you've got some incredible options that can definitely rival the famous sites around Penida and Lembongan. Biaha, in particular, might just make it into the top three dive sites you can explore from Bali.

@@AdamHelb I used to do that, but now I have so much equipment-dive gear, cameras, torches, etc. Most bigger wheeled bags are expensive and lack waterproof materials. I usually dive right up to the last moment before flying home. But if it works for you, fantastic.

@ To deal with a damp wetsuit I take a couple of garbage bags to stuff the wetsuit into.

Biaha and Tepekong are among Bali's finest dive sites. Jepun is alright (I might ruffle some feathers among muck diving fans with that opinion). In upcoming videos, you'll have the chance to explore what I like to call the "Three Kings of Bali": Mimpang, Biaha, and Tepekong. I believe most dive sites along Bali's northeastern shores are accessible directly from the beach. However, diving from the local fishing boats offers a unique chance to admire the stunning coastline from the sea. The gentle sway of the boat, the panoramic views, and the charm of the traditional boats add a touch of romance to the experience. Personally, I would choose the charm and romance of the local fishing boats over a van any day of the week. The journey itself becomes a part of the adventure, creating unforgettable memories.

@@KevinMcgovern-c1d Thank you for watching! I've explored all these dive sites many times. I have a video coming soon featuring Gili Biaha, Mimpang, and Tepekong. As for Blue Lagoon, I wouldn't highly recommend it. Honestly, it's more cost-effective to dive and stay on Lembongan rather than from Bali. Crystal Bay is a bit overrated and mostly dived for the Mola Mola sightings.

Absolutely, both Toyapakeh and Mangroves offer exceptional diving experiences. Their vibrant marine life, healthy coral reefs, and clear waters truly make them world-class dive sites. Divers can expect to see a wide variety of fish, colorful corals, and possibly even the famous Mola Mola during the right season. These sites definitely live up to their stellar reputations!

Big Fish, the dive company, is highly experienced and knows exactly what they're doing. Currents around Penida can change constantly, but both directions at Toyapakeh offer great diving experiences. Having completed hundreds of dives off Penida, I can confirm that this is completely normal.

I do like anemone clownfish, and there are so many in Indonesia.

I must point out that what might be considered average in Indonesia is world-class when compared to many popular dive destinations around the globe.

That's incredible! Seeing barracudas up close must have been quite an experience. Their sleek, powerful presence can be both thrilling and awe-inspiring. It's moments like those that make diving truly unforgettable.
