I use to not like tj at the very beginning of the show. I thought he was a big jerk, but after the swing episode, I realized how much of a cute soft boy he was. He is now one of my favorite characters. I love any scenes with him in it. Shoutout to Luke for his great acting 🙌🏾🙌🏾💕💕
To date, we know nothing about TJs backstory. As soon as I saw him interact with Cyrus ( cafeteria muffin scene) I knew he had been camouflaging a softer side! My theory is that TJ had noticed Cyrus long before that day. He saw how dedicated and devoted he was toward the undeserving Buffy and wanted some if not all of Cyrus for himself. I think TJ saying " he's with me " was wishful thinking" From that day forward, TJ never missed an opportunity to be unabashedly physically affectionate towards Cyrus! In epo 7,Tyrus grew from friendship to bromance. I doubt, TJ realizes he has a crush ! Cyrus does. Something is missing in TJs homelife, that no one noticed his learning Disability. Maybe a single mom, working overtime to support them or she's an alcoholic or a druggie and pays no attention to him. Cyrus doesn't get why TJ has befriended him. TJ doesn't get why Cyrus wants to be friends with a dumb jock. Tyrus is the only real and supportive relationship on the show. The push each others boundaries in positive ways. Hopefully, Disney will let the bromance become romance.

TJ will be in all epos with the exception of 2, in epos 8-15. Also read, TJ will be in the season fanali. Disturbing is that there are only 21 epos in season 3. I've haven't seen anything anout the possibility of a season 4.yet.

It’s funny because my sister asked me before that episode what I thought of Tyrus and I didn’t know what it was so she shipped it before I did. It’s funny how fast things change!
