Vilolence to a tv is not the same. Jorge wasn't beating Sarah with that bat. Do they realize how many sport fanatics have demolished televisions in their living rooms? This happens all the time.
@@missb7959The reason this makes perfect sense is bc Sarah was recording it but not yelling to stop or anything at all for that matter. It's very likely they decided to have some fun with an already broken TV. Defense is simply using it out of context thinking this will surely win the case.
So that is Jorge, in a tirade, being aggressive, being threatening... Not even speaking or raising his voice, not threatening or waving the bat around. This is Jorge angry?
Ok, so is this the same night, where they had a lovely evening drinking, doing a puzzle, drawing, and painting, before he gets locked in a suitcase? Is this a different day where the tv was broken anyway and he felt like destroying a tv. It wasn't aggressive behaviour towards her. It could be just goofing around. So, someone is breaking your tv. You are terrified and devastated that he is destroying your property. So you just stand there and record him doing it? You say nothing. You don’t leave. And you don’t call the police.
They both battered each other. But, yes, I believe she was battered. The photos prove it. They both continued to live with the abuse as many battered people tend to do.

I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, but this video just shows a man busting a tv. Without context, there's no way to know what was going on. It seemed more like a demonstration. He didn’t even appear angry. Not the best editing here Court TV.
She had to know Jorge was jealous of her ex. Then why would she invite her ex over when Jorge wasn't there? Yes, its absolutely her right, and she was doing it for her son, but she had to know how jealous he was.Why wouldnt she wait till Jorge got home if she was afraid of his actions? Who knows, maybe she liked the fact he was jealous. However, what she needed to do was get rid of him at the very first incident of abuse. Instead, she acted like Florence Nightingale, trying to "fix" him. She obviously felt superior to him, and that is her #1 narcissistic trait. Not her straight A's. What she needed to do was "FIX" herself... Then she wouldn't be in the position she's in right now. People like her always want to be the victim. Unfortunately, Jorge was ultimately the true victim in the end. But smarty pants Sarah had a choice, and she chose the wrong one.
I must confess I'm only on day 2 of trial now. But what I would love to know, is when she called 911, she had him out of the suitcase if I understand correctly, doing cpr? So seeing as he possibly was still in rigor mortis... How did she get him out again? How did she straighten his body? That's now if her story is to be believed? He got into the suitcase to play hide and seek... He zipped himself up how with half a broken zipper, and even if he did get the right, how did he zip it up completely? Through his fingers? If he couldn't get himself out, was the zipper stuck? Was it broken? Then how did she get him out? Did she then forget to mention Harry Potter was thee too with his magic wand? Lady you weigh how much, how did you pick a dead weight, even without rigor mortis, out of that suitcase? Was he even IN the suitcase? You say you passed out from the wine, i.e. You were drunk, right? Of one bottle of wine when state witnesses testify you regularly liked your wine? You're not Suitcase Sarah, you're Sloppy Sarah. You can write your essays in court, depending on appeal, you're wasting ink.
No they both had 2 bottles of wine. There were 2 empty DOUBLE bottles. Also it is proven he got in on his own accord. What then happened is she zipped it up with the zippers being approx 5-8 inches apart. They were laughing at this time. Which he would have had to be a willing participant at this point. What then happened after that is something out of a claustrophobics nightmares!!! He went to slide his hand/fingers out to unzip the suitcase and she admitted to taken taking a wooden baseball bat and smashing his fingers when they came out of the suitcase to try to get himself out. At this point it is very probable that she zipped it all the way. She proceeded to flip it over several times (absolute torture) then she lays it on the left side and proceeds to sit on the sofa while tormenting him (first video) then 10-12 minutes later she makes another video while he is pleading for his life. Telling her he cannot breathe. At this point they think she took the bat and hit him several times due to the blunt force injuries he had on his face and other parts of his body. Now, this also could have happened if the suitcase was originally upstairs and when he went to get in she proceeded to zip him up and push him down the stairs. There has been several questions by the prosecutor insinuating if the suitcase was upstairs and if she pushed him down the stairs inside to account for his injuries. I don’t believe this to be the case due to the videos of him inside the suitcase. He seemed fully aware and never once mentioned “being thrown down the stairs” or needing medical attention due to being thrown down the stairs. Another fact is at the time of the crime she weighed 95 pounds and 5.3. He was 5.3 and 105 pounds. She is trying to make the case that she was terrified to open the suitcase because she knew he would be mad and try to kill her or do bodily harm to her person. This still does not give you the right to murder and man. Even if this is true, totally insignificant! She was in no immediate danger while he was in the suitcase, which would mean that she would have been able to call 911 or even her ex husband to come over to let him out. While she left. Let’s say that’s 100% true, still means absolutely nothing! You can NOT murder someone based off words. You can not murder a man and not even attempt to call 911 for help while claiming you were in such fear for your life. That story makes no sense anyway based off the fact that she left him in the suitcase and went upstairs to fall asleep! So you leave a man, that you fear will kill you if he gets out, in a suitcase downstairs while you go to sleep in the same house? If what she says is true and he had a few inches to get his fingers out then she would have never turned her back on him and just went to sleep. Any reasonable person would consider the fact That he could escape and kill you in a fit of rage. So either way and with all scenarios, she is going to prison. She has no justification and the law is not on her side. No matter what lie she tells. Even if she was legitimately scared for her life. Doesn’t matter!!! She’s cooked Regardless I hope this answers some of your concerns.

I love how there’s no context to that video.. no leading up to… no conversation after. If I had to guess, they purchased another tv and he wanted to destroy that one with a bat for the fun of it. Nothing he did there appeared to be any form of threat of violence to her. Like she held onto that video in case she ever needed it because she was plotting long before it happened
I just wondered if he had her videotape this and you don’t hear her saying anything in the background I just wanted the key was already broke and was trying to get him or set him up for his future suitcase
This in no way shows him being rageful or even angry. He even says basically, I’ll do this and you clean it up. I have been married to an abuser and he smashed our tv in a rage. Jorge, here, pauses between swings. My husband was too busy raging to pause. And if I had recorded my husband raging, he would have destroyed my phone and then come after me. I call BS.
@@fredrickhorn6374 Jorge is a normal guy. What are you asking? As far as what is normal in my house now, it is peaceful because I separated years ago and going through the divorce now.
I have a feeling she is either going to be found innocent or a mistrial. Unless the Prosecution has a trick up their sleeve, the jury will fall for the BSS. Defense is making Jorge out to be a Monster but Sarah as an angel. It was mutual combat.
I am hearing some good psychological diagnoses in her favor with the jury in a big way, battered wife syndrome, PTSD, and obviously she is an alcoholic, which in CANADA at least is considered medically as a disease.
Showing him beats the tv , don't prove anything, he could not beat her that night. She was not in danger, she let him die, by not helping him out of the suitcase
If she was truly scared of Jorge, don’t you think she would have flinched every time he hit the TV or would have been shaking? Her camera is as still as can be and what is that mark on Jorge’s neck?
This video does NOT show a "violent" Jorge Torres. It just shows Jorge hitting a TV with a bat, but he doesn't LOOK pissed and I'm assuming she's filming it (since the video is on her phone, I think that's a good assumption) without asking him to stop or making any single upset sound. Other than maybe 2 words (which I couldn't even hear enough to discern) was muted. Why film like this? It looked like something they were doing together. Staged. NOPE. Not evidence.
Whoever put that first crack in the TV is actually the person who broke it. Anything done to it after that is just someone goofing around and/or letting off some steam.

My guess is that was a “Rent a Center” TV that was being repossessed and in a drunken stupor, they decided to give it back to the company in a worthless condition…She filmed it to prove she wasn’t the one who caused the damage so it wouldn’t come back on her. Just my theory…
She is garbage Watch all of the body cam footages. Sarah used the police to scare Jorge. Her ex even told the detective that when she got drunk she would scratch at him. Jorge and her were the same height and close in weight. Sarah would attack him and when he would hit her or kick her to get her off him, she would call the cops and get him arrested. She was never afraid of him. She controlled him and used the police to further her control. She went to hug Jorge's dad and he didn't want to hug her and so she pushed him and he fell. What a peach, huh?
I believe she gave as good as she got. That fateful day her spiteful site decided to show him what she was capable of. She got him into the suitcase and than taunted him. She is an awful person .
She's a pitiful human being. She wasn't married to Jorge, had no children with him, was a teacher, and should have left him when she realized he was this abusive. I know some say it's not that easy to just up and leave, but she stayed and tolerated it. She drank along with him, knowing how he got when drunk. She was either desperate for a man or enjoyed the roughness. Just hearing him pleading for his life was almost unbearable to watch. The frantic pleading for her to let him out was so sad, and yet she laughed, mocked, and taunted him as he was dying. Her saying she suffered from abused syndrome doesn't give her the right to kill him. She deserves prison for the 22 years she rejected.
She was abusive and instigated the abuse. Watch the body cam footage. Her ex tells the detective she would attack him when she got drunk. I have a cousin and an aunt who abuse alcohol. I've had to beat my cousin up twice because she would come at me. And my aunt would get drunk and tell at my grandparents. One of us always had to be present to make sure she didn't hurt them. Sometimes the alcohol brings out that mean, nasty side.
Not even the time between the two vids of her "trying to teach him a lesson" you know the videos before and after that she does not remember taking??? But she remembers thinking, "I'll record this and show him how he is in the morning" and she remembers the middle where he is "aggressively trying to get out of the suitcase threatening to kill her... ok.. Wouldn't THAT be the video to show him the next day? Swiss cheese defense but seriously... Since the jury does mot know what we do, this defense might cause "reasonable doubt" . This could turn into another Casey Anthony/ OJ case...
I understand that Sarah went through so much with Jorge but I don't think it gives her the right to take his life. I believe she knew what she was doing because she only taped certain parts of him being in the suitcase and she beat his hands so he could not get out while he kept telling her he couldn't breathe. She didn't want him to get out because she could have called the police again to help him out while she left the house if she was that scared. Guilty.
Its like when Heard recorded the smashing of cabinets and leaked them to press...but didn't film her attacks on Depp. Sarah also owns it was a mutually combative and toxic..but loving (eyeroll) relationship. If it's horrible, end it. Don't keep spending Sundays together playing games and then torture to death because it's not a healthy relationship.
Well maybe she told him to do it, maybe the TV was not working so she had him bust it up to fit in the trash and behind his back took pictures to make it look like a violent crime and he didn't even know
That TV was already broken and they thought it would be fun to smash it before they take it out. That's my personal opinion. He appears to be high and she doesn't seem to be scared at all. I don't buy it, Sarah.
I don't get the point of this. Nobody is yelling, nobody is protesting. It could have been "I bet you won't smash it. I'll give you 50 bucks" hold my beer! Like what are we supposed to take from this?
I think anyone who "accidentally" caused another humans death would be visably upset. Sarah Boone never showed any emotion over her boyfriends death, or anything else for that matter.
He doesn’t look very worked up. He straightened up the TV before bashing it again. I think it could have been a mutually co dependent abusive relationship based on addition. My theory is she put him in the case, wanted to make fun of him for a bit but then like a typical flaky addict fell asleep and he died.
This is such an odd video. I’ve seen a man break a tv in a rage. No baseball bat required. Jorge looks like he’s struggling to swing it each time. A little winded. Definitely doesn’t seem angry. Nothing directed at her. Seems more likely that Sarah set this up OR they were both drunk and this was the result of some booze fueled idea. If he was a threat to her, he wouldn’t be slowly doing this while allowing her to film it. He most likely would’ve smashed the phone right out of her hand. And no woman who is genuinely fearing for her safety is hanging out to film her violent bf while he’s swinging a bat. I call bs
if i was on the jury ,this video would not tell me he was violence towards her .for all i know the tv might've been broken and they were seeing how long it would take to shatter ,the fact she was recording it and standing there to me doesn't show she's scared of him at all ,what a load of crap
but then why would he break a tv inside the house (not outside the house) for fun, especially since they have carpeting? there are glass shards flying everywhere, which will be cutting everyone's toes later.

Proves nothing yet...other than there is definitely a bat in that house.i have more questions now than answers to see if he was aggressive.
Her injuries are consistent with her own drunken falls. Even so, they were all pretty minor.
Omg now Marsha Thompson shot her husband & he was sleeping on the couch & she got off!!! This one is in a suitcase & can't breathe wondering what her verdict will be thinking guilty
This looks like an activity Sarah made him do for his stress level or something. The man is not cursing or yelling.
Exactly, it was probably beyond repair and she said to get his stress out.
I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, but this video just shows a man busting a tv. Without context, there's no way to know what was going on. It seemed more like a demonstration. He didn’t even appear angry. Not the best editing here Court TV.
I pray the jury isn't swayed that this would ever warrant DEATH.
It’s Florida just remember Casey Anthony!
It's about reasonable doubt. I wouldn't assume an automatic guilty verdict.
I feel like he was barely human. Maybe the charges should have been amended to animal abuse.
@@goodgolly8465 well I do know dogs bigger than him.
That poor man had a horrific death,I think they both used to hit each other,Sara got the upper hand that last t
Any reasonable person would consider the fact
That he could escape and kill you in a fit of rage.
So either way and with all scenarios, she is going to prison. She has no justification and the law is not on her side. No matter what lie she tells. Even if she was legitimately scared for her life. Doesn’t matter!!!
She’s cooked
Regardless I hope this answers some of your concerns.
@@stagename1031 it's possible he didn't know he was tossed down the steps. He probably only knew that he couldn't breathe. I mean at the end of the day, we'll never know what happened but I hope the jury isn't falling for her bs.
There's a video of Jorge talking to the police (which he very seldomly did when he would get arrested) and the officer asked him why he lets her get him arrested or something like that. The officer asked if Sarah hits him and if he's defending himself and Jorge said no. Then Jorge said he hits her to get her off of him. The officer told him that he could call the police and Jorge said he would never call the police on her. The video is on TH-cam.
Amber and Jonny all over again we're she films him after she pisses him off. She going to get off because there is a juror who was abused 😢
Looks likes hes drained from hitting that television
Why isnt she screaming at him for smashing the TV. I erckon the tv was broken and he enjoyed smashing it. Funny how there was no angry talking through it. Seems fake to me, not angry Jorge taking it out on a tv.
That's the first thing I noticed. It seems like they were messing around. I'm not familiar with acting techniques, but I'd the the breathing after a few swings was over acting a bit.
Exactly!! The tv was not on and my bet was broken that’s why he destroyed it! If not she would have said don’t or something. 😂 It was a silent video of him breaking a tv 🤔😂
@@cainsmomma You can hear the tv being smashed. it was not a silent video.
@@playa08fly He didnt even look angry.
@@GalileoGalilei367 So much for you to learn about not letting yourself become a victim, apparently.
Scary being with someone like him. He’s crazy and dangerous
I had an ex who tried to break my little girls computer she used for school. I gave him 15 min. and a garbage bag to get what he needed
Then I told him to GTFO.
That's what she should have done.
What does Maya say, When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time!
Oh yeah...something we all do. Very normal? LMFAO
I think they were both violent but she didn't fear for her life in that moment. She should have taken the freaking plea deal she's going to be sorry
They did it on purpose, it was not violent - the tv was broken.
I call BS.
Yeah, just a normal guy having fun. I'm sure this is normal at your house? No?
@@fredrickhorn6374 Jorge is a normal guy.
What are you asking? As far as what is normal in my house now, it is peaceful because I separated years ago and going through the divorce now.
I have a feeling she is either going to be found innocent or a mistrial. Unless the Prosecution has a trick up their sleeve, the jury will fall for the BSS. Defense is making Jorge out to be a Monster but Sarah as an angel. It was mutual combat.
That TV doesn't belong to him
There is no verdict of innocence, it’s guilty or not guilty. She doesn’t even agree to manslaughter.
He is quietly just breaking the TV not violent at her. If he was violent at her, wouldn't she be in fear and running away from harm, not video it?
I don’t see anger or hear yelling or screaming. Almost like he was destroying a TV that probably didn’t work anyway.
You know I have to say she did better than what I though in the stand she remained calm i though she going to pop off!!
Maybe I’m wrong BUT has the defense opened the door for the rebuttal to be brutal …… I just have a feeling ……
Have the professional explain when the play ended and the threat began 🤔
TV already had a bat break @ the top in the first video
Football fanatics kill their TVs every weekend. You killed a person Sarah! Don’t get it twisted! 😢😮
I Like your profile name. 😂
This wasn’t Jorge being violent. This was Jorge and Sarah playing about and then her filming it and twisting it!
Seems like she set him up to do that.
TV was already broke
He is not doing it violently and they are not arguing, we need context.
Sarah was probably directing Jorge to destroy the already broken television set.
@courtrv, how am I able to comment during the actual trial? I can barely stand to watch on the “other channel “, the comments are awful. Thank you
Those videos prove NOTHING. Aggravated assault on a TV was not a threat to Boone.
Oh right! I've got a buddy that acts this way. He's looking for a roommate. Can he move in with you? I promise he's no threat! LMFAO!
I am hearing some good psychological diagnoses in her favor with the jury in a big way, battered wife syndrome, PTSD, and obviously she is an alcoholic, which in CANADA at least is considered medically as a disease.
We want to see the full context of that Video…. There’s more than meets the eye here.
They were "having fun " and he got in a suitcase..and then she hit him with a baseball bat..this is really weird..
Showing him beats the tv , don't prove anything, he could not beat her that night. She was not in danger, she let him die, by not helping him out of the suitcase
She probably told him to smash it
I can definitely believe that.
If she was truly scared of Jorge, don’t you think she would have flinched every time he hit the TV or would have been shaking? Her camera is as still as can be and what is that mark on Jorge’s neck?
If he was that bad she should have left him a long time ago
How do we know the tv wasnt working to begin with? I beat the hell out of an old tv because it worked when it felt like it.
Maybe you need to seek help, too.
She could of just left him, she still guilty
could *have or could've
@@chalkdust2877 OMG thank you! When the hell did would have, should have, or could have become would of, should of, or could of? I see this all the time and it drives me nuts.
Why are you down the volume when Jorge is saying to Sarah Boone "you are going to help me to put this sh*t out" 3 times
Jorge was just hitting a broken TV and Sarah Boone recording the video.
please don't delete my comment again.
My guess is that was a “Rent a Center” TV that was being repossessed and in a drunken stupor, they decided to give it back to the company in a worthless condition…She filmed it to prove she wasn’t the one who caused the damage so it wouldn’t come back on her. Just my theory…
This guy was garbage.
No context. She probably taunted him to do it. Just one of their "games".
What does he say at the beginning? Not the part that’s muted for some reason but 2:34
I bet he wont put himself in anymore suitcases.
I believe she gave as good as she got. That fateful day her spiteful site decided to show him what she was capable of. She got him into the suitcase and than taunted him. She is an awful person .
No. HE gave as good as HE got. She was the instigator with all of her histrionic theatrics, but sometimes HE fought back. Brian didn't fight back.
Yep!
Violent or bored 🤔 he’s being very careful…
Why is there not one video of him screaming at her ? I mean she loved video of his bad behaviour but nothing to show all the nasty things 🤷
Why didn't she leave the house or call her ex for help.
She needed to leave as she was exposing her teen son to domestic violence and lack of safety. I wonder what he saw at his moms?
I understand that Sarah went through so much with Jorge but I don't think it gives her the right to take his life. I believe she knew what she was doing because she only taped certain parts of him being in the suitcase and she beat his hands so he could not get out while he kept telling her he couldn't breathe. She didn't want him to get out because she could have called the police again to help him out while she left the house if she was that scared. Guilty.
Even her ex said they abused each other but she starts it. She abused him too! Slap and scratch him and he was bigger than Jorge
Well maybe she told him to do it, maybe the TV was not working so she had him bust it up to fit in the trash and behind his back took pictures to make it look like a violent crime and he didn't even know
How did he get that wound on his neck?
Me when Kamala Harris is talking on TV.
😂😂😂
Same,, but it's when Trump is on.
Me when all these politicians talk on TV.
@matlocksd if you are anti Trump, you can't swing a bat so the TV should be okay.
That TV was already broken and they thought it would be fun to smash it before they take it out. That's my personal opinion. He appears to be high and she doesn't seem to be scared at all. I don't buy it, Sarah.
But he wasn’t taking it out on her?
I don't get the point of this. Nobody is yelling, nobody is protesting. It could have been "I bet you won't smash it. I'll give you 50 bucks" hold my beer! Like what are we supposed to take from this?
Violent? Out of breath, no context, the video didn't even shake a little bit everytime he hit the TV so scared was she. Sure . . .
Violent? It was broken & they were having fun smashing it before throwing it out to the curb. 🙄 You suck CourtTV.
