My buddy put one of these on his Low Rider. Made a huge difference in oil temp. His does not have the fan option. This is a great mod brother. Good thinking given your circumstances.
Just installed one, minus the fan option on my FXR. Had to use an external thermostat as the filter housing is under the bike. These work great and have ran one on my past few Evo’s. Must have on these hot air cooled bikes.
When you get to DC, make sure you take a trip up toward Union Bridge MD. Really good riding up that way and some awesome older farms for scenery. I live in Mt Airy, MD, not far from that area.
I installed the Ultra cooler 3.0 about 2 days ago on my Road King S&S 100" with easy start 585 cams before the install of the cooler my bike ran at 267 degrees at a 100 degree day in Sacramento know it's at 227 Degrees just remember if you have your bike tuned professionally you will see numbers like this stay far away from all of those can tunes on the market you are better off getting a real tune that will make more HP and make your bike run much cooler
Just found this video and just purchased the same unit for my 2013 Dyna FatBob. Looks fairly easy to install, I’ll let you know how I make out. My buddy has it on his Street Glide and sold me on it. Thanks!
@@dynademos so I installed the Jagg oil cooler on my Fat Bob and have had good results so far. Definitely running cooler. I’ll be taking part in America’s 9/11 ride in a couple weeks, so I’ll definitely report back with it performance during that ride. Had some problems though with the install. First was the down tube mounts which were slightly smaller than what I needed. I couldn’t get it closed tight and the bolts pushed through the mount holes. I added a washer between the head bolt and the mount, I was able to get it to close tightly. Also, one of the black 1-3/8” bolt, used to mount the front part of the adapter and engine anti-rotation bar, the hex-head stripped out. This happened when I was fitting up everything. Unfortunately, I had to cut the head out and use a set of vise grips to back the rest of the bolt out. I purchased a set of better 10-24 1-3/8” bolts to replace them. Other than those hangups, it is working great so far!
Really liking your guys' demos! Really learning a lot. If I had any suggestions for the videos, it would be to get a recorder or attach a microphone on the camera for better audio, and then sync the video and audio in editing. Besides that, keep it up!
Old video but I’m curious.. can the filter adapter be clocked more forward? I ask because I have a wide band O2 sensor that points directly to the base of the filter
Great Video as always.....that bike is a can bus bike....can bus is high speed communication basically when you press the turn signal switch its sending a signal to the control module to turn on the turn signals. Unlike a traditional circuit that completes the circuit to ground if that makes since....lol 🤜🤛
Punch In The Pants Pit P the directions state to install it this way however i have seen a radiator fan installed both ways on a car or truck. In this case i’m assuming the manufacturer calls for it to be installed this way to protect the fan from possible damage from road debris? 🤷🏽♂️ just an assumption though
Is my dyna canvas? My dynas a 1999 and not sure if it has the 6 pin connector but I don't understand what term your using lol. Sounds like your saying canvas
Great videos as always. So as a new rider stationed in Naples, Italy although lane splitting is a custom thing especially for motorcycles sometimes its either just not safe to or confidence may be lower. Would this be a good mod especially during construction or accident heavy events for a new rider on a 2017 street bob dyna?
Aaron's Tech Talk If you’re worried about your bike overheating from sitting in traffic definitely a good investment I’m moving to Cali so I didn’t want to get one-lego
@@dynademos Love Jugs have been around forever and frankly it's a scam. It's basically putting 2x80mm fans behind the horn pointed at the side of the cylinders then charging a couple of hundred bucks... It does nothing to cool temps so don't waste your time and money. You're on the right track with cooling the engine oil to get the bike temp lower... but like Jax the french bulldog mentioned a dyno tune will really make a big difference not only with lowering the temp but a whopping gain in HP in all the ranges.
The reason they say to set it on to the case. Is so when its time to loosen your oil filter the bracket doesn't work loose. Ask me how I know. You might get thru one oil change but sooner are later it will get loose. Been running mine for 15k.also use gates transmission lines next time and fuel injection clamps better than the worm stye clamps that they provide . they can be bought a napa auto parts
@@dynademos no wear. When you rotate the filter counter clock wise it will loosen the mount. Also when you apply the filter just snug it. It will get insanely tight for some reason.
dynademos a gap of a slice of paper if perfect! Definitely get rid of those worm style clamps! I think the one you need are “stepper style “. Lowe’s n HD has them by the bag. “Side cutters aka wire cutters” are the proper tool to clamp them down. Really good video guys! Larry
Big Chungas, the hook up of the fan would be different, Our bikes have a different electrical connectors. The oil cooler comes with pretty good instructions with pictures. Should be very similar at the oil filter.

great prod. jagg, I live in SW. fl. hot as hell humid also, these coolers work. Harleys need all the help they can get.
Yeah they do especially in heavy traffic 👍🏽
Depending on the fan. Some fans spin the other direct if the wiring is reversed. Just make sure the fan is pulling air through, when you're done.
Matt Storie will do it stated in the instructions it didn’t matter what terminal post it was on but I’ll make sure 👍🏽

Roger Moore that’s awesome rod plans to get his bike tuned eventually 👍🏽
The 10 row from wood performance work great
Aggie Frazao I’ll check em out ✊🏽
Those woods coolers are just jagg coolers
Chevy K10 yeah Bob is just dealer! Initially they made them fit him then Jag started selling them! Work great
Best place for Oil Cooler is Above the Regulator. Just Switch the Horn Bracket Around. And you Won't loose Air cooling on left side of Engine.
Noted thanks for the advice!

Thanks for doing this video. I have a 17 Slim S and Im thinking about doing a fan asist O.C. too.
It helps in the heat 🥵
It helps in the heat 🥵
Wish you all would of done the oil bud cooler
rob cantu wow I never knew about that I like that it is hidden ima look into it 👍🏽
I believe it would be better to have the fan push air that way the fan is catching all that heat, less chance for the fan burning up.
Awesome video guys! Glad to help out

It’s just so expensive

I think it would help for sure!

How has it held up? Im looking at picking up this exact cooler but saw a review that the fan broke pretty quick
Haha I seen u commented on the other video the fan broke but is cheap to replace
Is this for people that beat the shit out of there bikes?
Eddie Scorsese, no for people that just want their bikes running cooler. I got it bc i live in the DC area and traffic is out of control here.
could they not have included some decent hoses and clamps? that hose clamp looks weak af
Budget cuts
Also. Does your lowrider have abs , if so did this kit work with abs ? Thank you
yes the bike has abs, i would look at the ultra cool the fan is far superior on those
My bros and I split or shoulder ride all the time . . . give it a few weeks or months and you'll take the risk lol The DMV area is some shit!
