This time I build an interface/patch panel for my guitar effects rack. A good way to make things fast and clear when setting up your rig.

I did very much the same thing with my old bass rack. I bought a 1-space blank panel and had a local machine shop drill it out for me. I installed 3 speakon jacks (left, right, and bridge) and an XLR which was DI from my preamp. I used my wife's label maker to label them all. Made it much easier to set up without having to reach into the rack (often in the dark) and feel around for the right jack or make sure the speakon plugs were turned the right way, etc.
    Definitely a cool idea.

paulthegeek Yes it definitely makes things easier and faster. In this case it makes my (admittedly a bit expansive) rig setup and tear down smoothly. Thanks for watching!

Simple but well explained example of a nice rack patch setup. It helped me a lot in my own panel planning. Also thanks for recommending Redco, you should put a link in your description. The labels and the panel planner on their site are awesome.

Thank you. I recently did some upgrade work on this rack. I may make a video soon.

Killer video... I knew it would be that simple. Just gotta build a case for it myself as I'm sure all the movement will eventually kill my solder joints. Thanks for the video!
