I'm glad to see Rosenthal has fully recovered from his small mental breakdown during his review of "Christopher Robin." Hopefully, we will one day see that event portrayed in a positive light in a documentary titled "Crazy Film Critics."
There haven't been any good psychology-based documentaries about film critics for years. Not since 'At the Movies with Siskel and Ebert' - that was fascinating watching two closeted gay men overcompensate their anxieties over emotional intimacy by arguing.
It's really great to see mental health approached in mainstream media. While I don't share the wealth or ethnicity, this film addresses my needs as a human in a way that few films ever could. The stigmas we associate with mental health, wealth inequality, and the asian culture as a whole have long been left unchallenged and now we can begin to heal as a society.

It's a pity Peter didn't mention 'It's a Wonderful Life', the ironically titled film about a bipolar man who suffers a psychotic break and imagines seeing an angel, leading to an obviously hallucinatory ending. I suppose it's because Capra cut out the final minute of film where George's delusion of the townsfolk bailing him out melts away to see his dead body floating down the freezing river. Sure, if he'd left that shot in it would have been a little obvious (and similar to 'Owl Creek Bridge') but I think that cutting it out has led to a lot of people missing the subtext.
