1. The decision of selecting a constituency like Coimbatore South where Vanathi Sreenivasan was building her base and focusing on aggressively for the last 5 years.
2. Kamal is a Chennai man. He has lived and worked all his life in Chennai. He had an organic connect with the place which could have been uitilised
3. Alliance with sharathkumar party. It dimmed the x factor value of a fresh new party like MNM when it formed an alliance with a lacklustre party like that of Sharathkumar's
4 . From the perspective of Coimbatore only , too many business /corporate background candidates giving the party a look of novices from the corporate world or locals with money with no ideology
