i remember seeing your Have a Blast cover and getting turned on to PRS. Now i got meself a PRS SE Holcomb model. that thing fucking screams like mad. your covers are sick and your moves are slick. tone is pretty spot on too, which leads me to thinking those are juggernauts or an alpha/omega set? or are they just stock prs custom 24 pups
JunkieMonkey321 Dude, thanks man! Those are just stock pups in the PRS, but I gotta say- I have a set of juggernauts in my Misha sig and they are my favorite pickup set ever. In fact, when I record, I have to rebalance all of my volume levels because the juggs are like 8 decibels louder than all my other guitars. It's sick.
Kevin Danneman Thats pretty crazy tbh. Ive been considering buying them for my 7 string. they seem versatile (i know Rick Graham here on youtube thinks theyre great for leads and stuff) and super chunky. have you ever tried the alpha/omega set and seen how they stack up against the juggernauts?
Id let you play my PRS if I was in the states, RIP. Im sure you can find a viewer with the Holcomb model and get to maybe make a video with it or something if you really wanna give it a go

1. Get AxeFx, 2. Get Canon Camera, 3. Use DAW to record over the top of existing material, 4. Upload Video and Music into a movie maker (i.e. iMovie, etc.), 5. Edit, 6. Upload to TH-cam. 7. Bask in all the money you get from ads!!! ;)

I don't make a dime off of any of my cover videos because WMG recognizes all copyrighted material, even when you record your audio over a preexisting wav file to create a new one. In fact, at one point TH-cam even took down one of my videos (Have a Blast!) and made it unavailable for anyone living in the United States for the first entire year because of whatever stupid laws or rules they had at the time. But it doesn't matter to me because I love to play and I would be doing this regardless of compensation!

Performing covers is almost always completely unpaid on youtube, if the person spends the time doing it they more than likely just love doing what they do. Killer job btw Kevin, love your videos!
Out of all your tones for covers, this is my favorite one. Any chance you remember the head/cab models on the fractal? Another lame question here: would a compressor help bring out tapping parts when recording? I understand their purpose and all but I'm playing thru a 200$ price point guitar, plays great, have it setup great, but naturally the pickups aren't too hot. Would a compressor help my tapping situations lol? Again, sick cover indeed my friend. Take care and keep em coming buddy
But as a side note, I tune all of my guitars to standard and use the pitch shifter on the Axe Fx. That way I don't have to constantly resetup my guitars every time I want to learn a new song with a different tuning.

Kevin, what guage strings are you using? I just ordered a PRS CU24, going drop C as well.
I use the D'Addario EXL117 Med top/X-heavy bottom. They hold up great and sound amazing.
But as a side note, I tune all of my guitars to standard and use the pitch shifter on the Axe Fx. That way I don't have to constantly resetup my guitars every time I want to learn a new song with a different tuning.
