I needed this reminder. I just sprayed the weed stop last week. Today I was looking at the Sunniland 0-0-7 & All natural in the garage. Time to get in the yard with it. I will say I swear by the Sunniland products. It’s been 3 yrs and still works great. I’ve used Lesco & Scott’s. They cost a lot more for the same stuff.
I liked your fall lawn care tips, BYD. I will need to get a bottle of that bio advanced for my flowers and hedges. I'm looking forward to your fall pre emergent video and tips.
I'm considering letting my St. Augustine go natural. I have been strict with my fertilizing, watering and bug prevention. Only to be hit, once again, by chinch bugs. They have destroyed approximately half of my lawn. Noticed damage about 3 weeks ago. I believe they have become immune to Bioadvance Total bug killer. It amazes me how my neighbors that do nothing to their yards of centipede have no problems. I think I'm going to do nothing else to my St. Augustine grass and let it die out and maybe next year switch to centipede. Love your videos, however nothing works for these pesky bugs. Thanks from South Carolina.
Great info as always. Just put down stress fertilizer last week. This is our time to shine in my area. A little free water from the sky helps. Gonna finish strong and probably just go milorganite or similar from here on out. Pre emergent in Oct. Waiting to raid Walmart after labor day for all my supplies for next year.
Ya the hairline is extra crispy like Brandon Davis’s yard! 😉 You ever use a 0-0-48 SOP from YM? I’ve heard/read to put that down in fall to harden the roots for winter. I’ve done it 2 years in a row and have some for this year. But haven’t seen many people doing it on YT, least the guys I follow.
I wonder if that mite control would prevent the mites that cause rose rosette. I got my lawn looking great only to lose most of my landscaping of knockout roses 😩😩
Should I use the flagship fert soon for fall on my Kentucky blue grass?? I just used my 2nd treatment off the Stress Blend fert on the 15th of August just trying to follow your plan Brotha.
Every place is different. But generally when temps start to drop it’s applied. In your case a post emergent might work well or experiment on you property to see what works best on you land.
Hi new subscriber here. I recently purchased my home removed the little grass that was here and planted some grass seeds after watching a couple of channels including yours I realized I did that ALL wrong🤦🏾♀️. Now I have Bermuda grass growing with a ton of weeds and I don’t know what to do. I live in South Florida. What are your suggestions since I planted grass seeds like a month and a half ago and I don’t know what to do. Any suggestions please help???
BYD, What Up! So I sprayed my bermuda lawn (which was looking good at the time but in summer slowdown) with Spectracide Weed Stop for Lawns to kill a spurge outbreak that I have. I am pretty bummed because it actually spotted my lawn everywhere that I sprayed. I also did the same with 2,4-D...same results killed the spurge but spotted my lawn. I am thinking it was because my lawn was in summer dormancy. What are your thoughts?
I use that product too, and under the ‘Use Tips’ on the label, 4th bullet point down ‘To avoid risk of lawn injury, do not spray drought-stressed lawns’ - i made this mistake the first time I used it. It works really well if it’s not ultra hot and the lawn can handle it. Pretty dang effective. It does brown after use usually, but it will usually bounce back. Good luck! Hope this helps.
Yo BYD… Did you get that SUPER KRISPY line and fade just for this vid???
Yes suh, lol 😆

Good video!!
I'll definitely be focusing on soil going into September. It really guarantees I'm going to be the first green lawn on the block come spring.

Horticultural vinegar (30%) is a good organic alternative to Roundup
Put some gloves on unc I want you around for a long time. 💯

It won’t hurt 👍🏾, download Yardmastery app and see what they recommend for your area.
Can you apply herbicides fungacide and insecticide in the same week if not same day
Yes
BYD is my guy but I can't believe he recommended triple action....
Didn’t recommend but used as an example
BYD what about the Pre? In Central Florida we start seeing Chickweed in the shade at the beginning of September

What combination do you recommend treating royal palms. To keep healthy.
Sunniland has a formula just for that, look that up.
Yo yo. It’s time to mow
Yezzir 👍🏾
Hi Biggs the stress Blend from mastery 7 0 20 is this all slow release specifically the POTASH ?
25 percent slow release but that potash and the bionite is the magic 🪄
Can I put down fungus control and weed stop at the same time for St Augustine
Yes but make sure that weed stop 🛑 for lawns is ok to use on your lawn.
@@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral thank you
BYD did you scalp your lawn?
Yes, late season but was needed. Follow my Instagram account for the best experience 👍🏾

If you have a lot of weeds I’d use a liquid post emergent

Yea plus if the temps over 90 that will sting the lawn also.

@@robertlevy4613 Thanks for the info. I should have known that. Lessons learned.
So are you applying both the all natural & stress blend?
Yes
could the YM 12-12-12 be helpful for last fertilizer app in Sept?
I’d literally wait for spring for that unless you are seeding cool season right now.
@@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral thanks!
