Let's talk about bluntsmokinganusdestroyer's era for a second.
We can only hope it never ends.

Utter dominance across the board
@@dem0ns588 he was just an entry fragger.
I think it would be cool if Thorin made a video about his top x players of 2019 after talking about hltv's on twitter, it would be a really cool comparison
+1, would probably value his top 20 just as much as HLTV
Yes please!!
He does a text format top 10 every year, but a comparison video of his and HLTV would be interesting
I’m hoping Mouse can contest them somewhat this year. They have shown promise.
They can't do it consistently, but they for sure could take a couple.
I don't think they have a realistic chance at being top 2. I think EG have a better shot if they get their shit together.
@@gpolenik EG has never had their shit together, the only way they win is with gimmick aggressive strats that would never work twice and get punished easily.
@@halgun7471 I think they have a more talented core than mouz that's why I'm thinking they have a better shot. If Brehze wakes up next year, they could win some tournaments, maybe even a major, who knows.

Breeze is noob
Regardless whether they begin era 2 or not, this team has been on the cutting edge of CSGO for so long it’s astounding.
I started watching CS consistently back when they represented TSM, and to think they are still / more relevant now is crazy when you consider the teams / players that have come and gone over the same period.
4 out of the 5 tsm players are still very relevant and cajunb is still around the scene a lot. Shows that theyve been one of the most consistent group of players in cs
@@JuanEsquivel-ex8nv cajunb about as relevant as get right
@@benedictly1571 yea you right. The other ones are still relevant af tho
Dan Flak they have pretty much defined a lot of the way cs should play
And before that they were the consistent top4 major placers from the beginning ! same core that had the heartbreaking losses/chokes as Dignitas but they were kids ! lol.. its a standout of consistency where so many AMAZING teams come and go, get overtaken etc.. NOONE has continued to stay at the top and potentially win the biggest finals like they have for so many years and its amazing because it is through all these more and more competitive periods and changing metas..
What he said, yep they define excellence in the game you can see the growth and resilience to overcome the challengers, when they were flawed they never stopped being relevant and rise again and again with more strength and the consistency of how strong they are each time ? it only goes up
Back to back Era, PogChamp
Yassirfir Dosirfem the 2 time forsenCD ✌️
They have peaks at the majors but what we define as their lows are top 6 finishes, which for any other team would be a decent result. The CS forums are filled with Zyw0oo and s1mple hype, but tbh they are nothing against the teamplay Astralis has on its peak. As a CS fan I know I want to see more of them at their best shape and see if any other teams come near to it. Mousesports, Liquid, Fnatic and EG all have shown potential to contest titles in 2020, the task will not be easy.
They need to stay on top until the end of spring; then we might be in a position to call this the second astralis era.
End of spring includes the Brazil major that would be a good way to crown the era
Yeah winning that major would absence solidify it and it would also be their first ESL one win ( unless they drop off heavily before it but there’s no signs of that atm)
Completely agree with this. Their previous era is over. They might be starting a new one. As things are shaping up it might be more difficult/competitive this time around. Exciting times!
Completely agree. As an Astralis fan (followed them since the dignitas days) I want them to be on top, but it's undeniable that both their big 2018 era did end and that the scene is better off if they have some actual competition.
I still remember buttpounder420's era
I remember when na'vi beat astralis with zeus 30 kills. It takes individual brilliance to win em
lol true
Every time Thorin says “Attempted Major” I die a little inside ;(
Duncan "era" Shields back at it again :)
Lets just hope astralis stay consistent
Idk why but I’m such an astralis fanboy that I got goosebumps at 8:15 lol
Came her for a second opinion on the astralis era, i sure got it. The death of dupreehs dad was just such a huge blow to the team speciale for a team thad knew each other for so long
6 stars for astralis in 2021?
Yes
They will win one of them and fail in the groups in the other one. My prediction.
Thanks for opening subtitles
I say if they can maintain this dominance with tournament wins and a few top 4 between the start of the year and win the ESL One Rio Major,That will confirm their second era
I bet they can't PAPAP edshot PAPAP edshot and moovin' then shootin' then moovin' then shootin'
Bluntsmokinganusdestroyer
They will get a second era. Just wait for the 2020 tournaments to begin!

please do a vid about why navi is so hopeless with all the talent they have
theoneandonlyKJ I mean the guardian has got to go video pretty much sums up that thought
@@TransparentEclipse Guardian playing so badly is tragic. He is one of the players that I think "deserve" to win a major but the stars never aligned for him.
Black_m0nster yes, but unfortunately it’s the way life is sometimes. U could be playing at the top level ur whole life, but at the end of the day csgo is a team game, and if ur team isn’t it then u just can’t win. I mean, a ton of talented teams haven’t been able to win a major in years cause astralis is just winning them all, so. It sucks, but astralis is the best team right now, so technically they deserve to win majors more than any individual player. Unfortunate, but it’s how it is.
Meanwhile xyp9x had three 1vx clutches in the time this video
Took haha
A third of the way through Thorin started ranting aimlessly
talking is his job lol
Good man
fck yeah! Nice content.
SK had overall a better year in 2017 than in 2016. It was just unfortunate that Krakow came when they were in the downswing with Felps and that they had to play Boston with Felps again as a stand-in when they were being dominant with Boltz.
And even with a stand-in at Boston they put up a nice enough fight vs C9 in the semi, I actually think they would've won it with Boltz.
@@MoiiProductions nah, the inferno match was looking grim, even the other SK members weren't performing
Astralis shouldve won PGl krakow aswell . They crushed 2-0 SK the top 1 at that time but they underestimated gambit and that cost them the major. gla1ve even said himself he understimated gambit and he tought he will win the major without any problems after defeating sk
@@MaulFlame True, Gambit was a tough opponent in the semis despite not much name recognition, but on Overpass, mou popped off with +22 kd, and on train the players on astralis failed to get it going, kjaerbye -11, only dupreeh went positive

Liquid would have an era soon...

Win A MAJOR 👏✊
That would be very satisfying for Karrigan.
@Karan Sharma Let's hope astralis don't choke
there's interest in overwatch content that isn't made by kids. give it another shot. it's the start of something that will likely become much bigger.
Why blast bad ? why doesnt it count ? is it because Best of Ones are not an accurate ?
CallMeSparkles yep
Tourney format and sometimes lack of competition
Still hoping faze could win a major✊
Nice face TriHard 7
Thorin forget that NiP won a major?
Zac Butter NiP didn’t win their major until the summer of 2014, their era was definitely over by the time of late 2013
Astralis 2018 everybody crying about them being too good. Astralis potentiel era end 2019/start 2020, Thorin crying about a more competitive scene and Astralis being mortal. What does it take to make people happy??
thorin isn't crying LMAO
Vitality has beaten Astralis at ESL One Cologne
that was a crazy good game
That was technically before they were back on top though

Longer videos please
Its Fnatic and mousesports time. forget about astralis in 2k20
They have to prove it. Astralis is still the team to beat
We are in the era of Astralis! just accept it!
