Interesting Way to swatch them. I have the complete set and might just have to try this method out in my new watercolor book. I never fell in love with them and only use few colors because they’re so different.

Thoroughly enjoyed this video. Please don't apologize for anything. These videos are free, and you clearly put a great deal of work into them☺️

I find the madder brown is one of my favourites. Very watered down in combination with other things it makes pale skin tones beautifully. It’s also useful for darker skin tones that have a reddish/ruddy undertone. I’ve heard You can also pallet them using duralar so I asked for some for Christmas and hope it will work. There was also a caran’dache pallet for water soluble pencils but where I live it’s unavailable for a reasonable price.
I also gently colour with them then wet and pull the colours. Still learning myself. I find them fun and useful in mixed media. But they do require study and ‘prediction’. I really advise keeping swatches on hand.

This video made me laugh...watching you fumble for something nice to say about these (mostly) garish colors. "Well, it's transparent..." It puts me in mind of people confronted by an ugly baby saying "You must be so proud..."
I bought a set of these years ago and the only color I actually use is black, which is really, really black and very useful when you need a vibrantly dark black. They are waterproof when dry, which makes them nice if you want to glaze over them. However, they are ink-based, so lightfastness could be an issue.
By the way, I couldn't hear the traffic. Thanks so much for the video!

    Hello Lily,
I’m looking for a Perylene Green which keeps it’s brightness when dry.
In today’s video, (which was many months ago) I heard you mention that you swatched a Perylene Green that didn’t turn dull.
    - Perhaps it was too long ago for you to remember…. but on the slight chance that you do… if it’s not too much trouble, could you please let me know which colour and brand it was.
    Sincerely
    Taven 🫶
