  • Ancient Utrecht is called the pulsating heart of Holland and the second "best place" in the country after Amsterdam (by the way, Utrecht is located only 45 kilometers from the capital of the country and you can get to it from Amsterdam by train in less than an hour). The city was built around the tower of the Dome Cathedral, which is visible from everywhere.
Utrecht is home to the tallest church in the Netherlands, as well as one of the oldest universities in Europe and the Schroeder House. The latter, built by order of a wealthy lady at the beginning of the XX century and at the same time similar to a modern cottage, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
In addition to the sights, Utrecht is famous for its picturesque canals with hospitable cellars on the pier, where cafes and terraces are comfortably located by the water.
👉 Watch our trip to Utrecht and enjoy the pleasant musical accompaniment.
Thanks for the like and subscription 💛

I like the way you look around and focus on details. I used to live there in the late 70's and it has not changed very much.

@@SeetheWorld-HD Well, actually, Utrecht has changed quite a bit. Just the parts that we were shown here have not changed much.

Yes, it seems that this castle is not far from Utrecht. But we haven't been there yet. If we go to watch it, I will definitely make a video.

Utrecht is in the province of Utrecht!! NOT in Holland what so ever, never was. Back to school you go dude.. NOT in the heart of "Holland". You Texans don't have schools?

A wonderful new opinion, confirmed only by your personal vision. Please send links to articles or books, that explain in more detail what you have written about. I am not a scientist, but only a traveler and my description is taken from popular publicly available sources.

He is right!! Surtainly not in Holland, it is like he said the province of UTRECHT!

@@wvdl4905 Yes, I found out what the mistake was! Thanks for the comment. I will correct the description on the cover.
Probably, in the previous message, I was outraged by the rude and uncultured tone of the address.
      So, yes, you're right!

The eternal mistake about the country's name and the names of its different parts. The county's name is 'the Netherlands'. The name Holland comes from the provinces north Holland and and south Holland. In total the country has 12 provinces. The city of Utrecht is the largest city in the province of Utrecht.

@@hfloor But does Utrecht relate to the Netherlands? Would it be correct to say that "Utrecht is a city in the Netherlands"?
      I'm already completely confused :)
Previously, it was written on the cover "Utrecht is the heart of Holland". Now I've corrected it to "Utrecht the heart of the Netherlands" - is that right?
