Nice 👍🏾 one thing to include though regarding sensitivity is different sens settings. OW lets you go between linear ramp, exponential ramp, and dual zone. The sens you select in the manager might not exactly correlate to it normal settings if you play on let’s say dual zone and then need to change it for the sake of maxing game sens for xim. Dual zone slows your center sens but speeds up after you press the stick far enough

@@miles-davisbroughton3692 They can both achieve the same accuracy, you will do better with the device you feel more comfortable with! Both motion aiming and mouse aiming are very comparable and can be picked up really quickly! :)

Hi friend, did you get to know the "Razer Hydra" controller released around the year 2011? In my humble opinion, it was an extremely revolutionary control for that time, as it allowed players who didn't have any mouse and keyboard skills (like me!) to play FPS games quite competently. Therefore, it is with great joy that after almost 11 long years, I see again a control with motion capture that seems quite revolutionary, compared to the current ones. I will definitely be getting one as soon as possible, most likely in early July of this year, when the Brazilian government will be reducing import taxes on video game products. Will my beloved "Razer Hydra" be replaced? I'll be hoping so, as the XIM Nexus deserves a chance!
Brazilian import tax is really no joke, happy to hear that the goverment plans to reduce the tax!
I heard this controller allows the X axis of each stick to be swapped. That is the legacy stick layout. I've used that control scheme since GoldenEye (and I'm pretty talented at it BTW), so I hope I can continue using that layout for every shooter I play.
Hey, swapping sticks is possible. If with Legacy you refer to both sticks controlling aiming and walking at the same time however (so no separation of one stick only aims, one stick only moves the character), then that is currently not supported but its being looked into by the XIM devs. There is an experimental firmware for such controls and community feedback is currently gathered on it.
Good tips. Though I prefer to set gyro to 5% in ADS, that way it activates immediately when zooming in. You can always choose to simply not move the controller, though I can't imagine ever ADS and not using gyro when zoomed in. I also find Twitchy to feel the best, imo.
I fully agree with you. A game that really benefits from not having motion active in ADS right from the start is rainbow six. There are lots of pixel peeks or pixel angles you hold while in ADS where even one moved pixel can result in no hit. You wouldnt want to have motion active in such a situation but activate it once someone crossed your scope.

@@ptskriptts5025 For PS4 games on the PS5 you dont need a Beloader, only for PS5 games. If you buy it from Amazon it should ship quite fast, if you order from China then probably not. Finding a Beloiader in stock on Amazon can be difficult though as there are several listings and some are fake, in my Beloader videos you can find links to the correct offers (video description).

Question guys when you calibrate your controllers settings are the blue and red dots supposed to be out of the circle or in which is better ? Like when I change my settings .

Is there a set up hold to toggle without the aim down sights? Like if I want to hip fire and use motion controls without them being constantly active
Hey, sure you can bind motion to all kinds of input methods and buttons. If you want to go for a custom activation then pick "custom" in the motion activation settings and bind motion to your preferred button. You can select if this button should have a hold/toggle/press/... kind of activation to configure when and how motion is being activated.

Hey, if its laggy try to use the ethernet mode or use the steps from my Beloader Setup video to reduce the lag to a minimum. PS5 support is being worked on but there are now news in that regard so far.

@@iAMEERO Your internet speed doesnt matter for the Beloader, it only operates within your local network. So as long as there are no Wifi interferences then you should not experience any lag. Using the ethernet mode will avoid most of the potential delay. If you want to continue using the Wifi mode then definitely try the optimization steps from my Beloader Setup video :).
Could you make it so you can change the X and Y sensitivity of the Gyro Motion aiming? I play mobile games with a low X gyro sense and a high Y sense.
Hey, yes you can do this already, thought not in the most intuitive way. A rework will probably come soon. Either way in your Motion Settings you can find the so called Y Scale feature. This is an XYRatio value that changes your axes behavior. It allows you to reduce your x sensitivty and increase your y sensitivity or vice versa.

Hey I'm wondering if you could help me out here. I wanted to try the smart actions for the recoil and updated my controller but then saw that the app in android is outdated and needed to be updated from the website so I left it alone.
Playing siege and overwatch I realised my right trigger was still holding the fire button after I let go. It would do this at random. I even put down the controller and the gun shot a couple of times at random. I also have a constant hair trigger no matter what percent I have it on.
So my question is it likely I'm having issues because the software is mismatched or is my controller detective? Thanks
Hey, please re-run the two calibrations in the global settings of your Nexus Manager (first the top one, then the bottom one). This will solve the trigger shooting issue. Some controllers shipped with a calibration that is too aggressive, which can cause sticking triggers. As for the Smart Actions, you must update both your XIM Manager and XIM Controller to the latest version found here: community.xim.tech/index.php?board=105.0

I use the beloader i do the frimwere update and i do all beloader manager steps and i so save it all but still when i plug beloader in my ps5 the it wont connect as remote play and stuff is it becouse i use phone internet and not 2.4ghz internet or ot has another reason?
Hey, the Beloader doesnt work through the Internet. It uses your local network. So it needs a router that connects the PS5 and the Beloader with each other. If you use phone internet with your Playstation then your phone acts as the router. But you should ask in the Beloader Forum first if this even works with the Beloader.
Hello I had a quick question so I just recently brought the xim Nexus and I love it it’s amazing but I ran into a problem where when I play call of duty black ops four loading with a gun and it automatically aims in and I can’t stop it and it shoot by itself does anyone know why
Hey, please go into the global settings of your Nexus Manager and then click on calibration. First do the top calibration, then the bottom one. This should fix your issue. Some controllers shipped with a too aggressive calibration which can cause what you described.
Hab nh frage ein Kollege hat ein Xim gekauft und bei ihm sieht das voll alt aus in der App hab dann gesagt der soll neue Software installieren.Hat der gemacht aber in der App wo man halt seine Settings macht ist immer noch alles gleich. Also es gibt zum Beispiel kein Steady aim und so bei ihm.

1) Go into the global settings of your Nexus Manager, then to calibration. First do the upper calibration, then the lower one
2) Go into your Nexus game config and change the motion smoothing preset to balanced or twitchy.

If I switch to tilt to use motion would this work as a steering wheel 🤔
Since a gyro works like a mouse it wouldnt work, to turn two second to the side you would need to continuously move = tilt the controller for two seconds. Whereas when using steering it is sufficient to rotate to the side and keep that position for one second.

But doesnt fortnite allow gyro aiming on playstation controllers? Would the only difference be that the xim nexus allows for you to have gyro aiming along with aim assist?

Yes you can, the best size is the one for the Nintendo Switch Pro controller. These fit perfectly onto the Nexus sticks.

Hey, a wireless mouse will not cause any delays unless you buy a really cheap desktop one.

Yes you can, however on some phones such as iPhones you may have to look into converters that let you connect Xbox/PSN controllers to the phone. Some phone manufacturers are very strict in what controllers they allow, so an additional compatibility adapter might be needed.

Hey, the Beloader solution is currently the one with the lowest delay, it only adds around 4 milliseconds.
My XIM nexus Motion Aim (ADS only) will only be active for 2 seconds until a rumble happens, then it stops working for 10 mins. It does this repeatedly. What’s wrong with it?
Hey, what kind of motion activation type are you using? Also please go into the global settings of your XIM Manager (top right) and then under calibration first do the top calibration, and then the bottom one.

i got an issue with my nexus. the button light is solid white. I cant connect it to my pc or the manager on my phone anymore. and I cant shut the controller down.
Hey, does the light remain white if you leave the Classic Mode? (up/down buttons pressed at the same time). If it does, please do a factory restore with this firmware and afterwards do a full calibration in the global settings of your Nexus Manager. community.xim.tech/index.php?board=105.0
@@XIMCentral I opened the controller up and pressed the lower small button on the motherboard. And it turned off. I pressed the xim button and it went back to normal. All good

Bungie removed the compatibility of the speciality controllers (Hori, Nacon, ...). To play the PS5 version of D2 you must now either use a Beloader or Sony Remote Play. I covered both via dedicated videos on this channel.

Hey, connect the Nexus Adapter to the Xbox and plug an original Xbox controller into the Nexus adapter. After that your Nexus controller should get recognized. If it doesnt, try a different USB cable for the Xbox controller.
Hi for some reason my controller keeps disconnecting from the xim nexus manager everything is plugged in and fine so I’m not sure why and my nexus manager app is very laggy

@@XIMCentral I am playing on PS4 I have my communication method on USB like how the tutorial said but my nexus remote has been losing connection with the xim nexus manager a lot and I’m trying to set up the gyro aim so I can use it for ADS but the gyro will work sometimes and sometimes it won’t is it because there’s a sensor on the Nexus USB I have put in my PS4? Sorry for all this btw lol
@@Starrii_Eyed_Devil Hey, so it sounds like you suffer from two issues. The first one is that your Nexus controller disconnects and no inputs are accepted anymore. The second one is that your gyro deactivates randomly. Is that the case?
By the way as a first step please redo the calibration in the global settings of your Nexus Manager. Do the top calibration first, then the bottom one.
@@XIMCentral correct on the gyro deactivating randomly and my nexus controller stays connected to my PS4 well but it disconnects from the xim nexus manager on my phone all the time when I’m trying to edit in the nexus manager I’ll try to redo the calibration right now

Hey, can you try the following and let me know if that works?
1) Press and hold the button on the Nexus Adapter for 1-2 seconds until it starts blinking
2) Turn around your controller, at the very bottom there is a tiny button. Press and hold that button for 1-2 seconds as well until the guide button on the controller starts to blink
3) Now wait a bit and see if the two pair with each other

@@Fernmarti_ Hey, is your Nexus still in Classic Mode? As in does the Guide Button still show a white light? In this mode the gyro is turned off. It is the default mode the controller starts with.

Destiny 2 (PS5) after the witch queen does not work anymore with PS4 Nacon controller.
Unfortunately, seems like Beloader is the only solution.

PS5 compatibility is being worked on, until there are news to share you can use Remote Play or a Beloader to use your XIM in PS5 games.

@@Smackzed Thats a general PS5 issue. When the PS5 runs games in PS4 mode there is often a delay that in some games can be quite noticeable. RB6 has it, some CoD games have it. The games run fine on the PS4 but on the PS5 something doesnt seem right with the backwards compatibility.

Hey, this has been requested a few times so far and can be added with a future firmware update. Right now it doesnt work with a PS3, but you could use an additional compatibility adapter together with the controller.

Hey, this means one of your attached devices runs on a lower polling rate than the XIM. Are you using a Beloader maybe?

@@mucklow14 All right, then its either caused by using a DualSense controller with your XIM or by the Beloader itself. In both cases this is not a bad thing though as the Beloader is the device handling the communication to the console and not your XIM Nexus. Hence purple lights dont affect you in a legative way. You could also connect a PS4 v2 controller to your Nexus adapter which should help with the purple lights too.

I hate the ps5 controller. Hopefully the nexus fits better and is smaller.
No support for ps5 unless you use beloader or remote play
I can say that the Nexus is a completely different feel in size and weight from the PS5.

Hey, XIM Nexus isnt compatible with PS5 right out of the box, however when you pair it to XIM Matrix then it is PS5 compatible.

@@pokarcolin5815 Depends on what you want to do. Matrix allows you to use any gyro controller in any console game, including gyro aiming on the PS5. XIM Nexus is its own gyro controller but doesnt work with the PS5. For that you need to pair it with XIM Matrix, or use one of the PS5 workarounds.

Where’s the xim apex
XIM Apex currently cannot be produced due to the worldwide semi-conductor/silicon shortages. When those a gone new units could be produced.
What is the new setting for some games that says pc game instead of Xbox n ps does it just mean it’s for pc?🤣
PC games will now also get config STs. With Nexus more and more PC games buy XIM products, and there are also plenty of PC exclusive games. In the next months more and more PC configs will be added! :)

@@miles-davisbroughton3692 Hey, always use the config of the platform you are playing on. If you are on Xbox then use the Xbox config. The reason is that each config has been optimized for the aim mechanic of that console. Using a different config can result in less accurate motion/stick movements.
