I hope nexus will make developers realize that there is already Gyroscope in dualshock4/dualsense. If they start to officially support it it would make The game fair. Gyro rivals a mouse so even crossplay could become more enjoyable for controller users...
how will the nexus help developers realise theire is a gyroscope in the dualshock4/dualsense. How will a complete seperate controller make developers realise that. Theire a alot of swithc games that have gyro aiming but the ps5 or ps4 version of that same game has not (maybe because the xbox does not have gyro). it seems like developers want console parity between the xbox and playstation. only game i can think of that is also on xbox and on playstation and has gyro is deathloop. The nexus can only translate rightstick to gyro. gyro should always behave like a mouse and not the sticks. Stick aiming is acceleration based and has a minimum and maximum turn speed. when you use stick gyro you can not exceed that speed. if you turn the controller to fast the camea will decelerate. a mouse is displacement based. manining that 20 degrees of dfisplacement will result in 20 degrees camera movement ingame. no matter how fast you move the mouse. So mouse gyro also has no deadzones. maybe a filter for small movements is needed so i will not become to jittery.
How did you create a button to look at the map verdansk . Xim config says the minus button is for the map but it doesn’t work and I don’t know what else to do ?!?
@@GregRosolowski that’s a fair point. How long did it take for you to get used to it? The only game I know of that lets you use gyro aim is Fortnite on ps5 and that felt a little weird for the one game I played
@CJ to me the hardest part was gaining the mental connection of two different aiming inputs at the same time. I would say it took about 2 weeks to a month before I started feeling better than I did on a regular controller, and about 4-6 months til I really felt like I was mastering it. The only downside is gyro is easier to aim so your thumbstick aim gets lazy. You should occasionally practice with gyro off as well. Because you're at your best when both thumbstick aim and gyro aim is very good.
@@GregRosolowski theire are two things that i dont like about the nexus. 1 the owner actually thinks his rightstick to mouse conversion is better then actual mouse to gyro conversion. So as far as i know theire is still no proper passthough on pc without the xim matrix. 2 everytime the gyro activates or deactivates theire is a sort of rumble. why? so anoying. also why the heck would i use rightstick gyro on pc. rightstick gyro from the nexus is still better then rightstick gyro from either rewasd or steaminput. but still. why would i want that on pc. So i really do liike the nexus (i own 2) but theire are better options for pc.
@ShadyNationGaming yes, with the Nexus controller if the new XIM MATRIX coming out soon. I mostly use XIM these days to tune my thumbsticks, such a zeroing the deadzone or adjusting curves. They now also have competitive macro features against Cronus and Titan, however I'm not a fan of anti recoil and rapid fire features.
Its just more satisfying knowing each kill was 100% my aim. I always wanted a controller that I didn't need aim assist to play well. Really, most people will take advantage of aim assist when using this controller. Gaming is about how much fun you have, and I have more fun playing like this.
I can’t figure out why people play WITH aim assist?! You are letting a computer control your aim?! I prefer to earn my kills without giving the computer credit. If you use aim assist, you are not a real gamer with dexterity level different from non gamers, you are no more of a gamer than someone who plays solitaire on their desktop.
Why do you keep playing with aim assist off.. your nerfing yourself for nothing and it won't help you improve.. cuz once you turn it on you'll over shoot now

I combine it. Most precision and quick adjustments I do with gyro, and most of my tracking, general aim and directional changes is with the stick.

Is the gyro aim always on or is it toggled somehow?
This is always on, I feel like leaving gyro on at all times is better for muscle memory.

For a controller player the NEXUS is absolutely better.

No I have it blend. Motion is always enabled and the stick velocity overlays
