Looks like you had a great week! This ep really hit me at heart- my dad (who passed away four years ago) also led by example, made me things with his woodworking and furniture repair, and even tho I wasn’t paying attention at the time- I see it all clearly now. If you have a wonderful parent everything always turns out wonderful no matter what life throws at you - and YOU are a wonderful dad! Have another great week!
I’m sorry for your loss. Sounds like your father was great and it’s nice that we always have a part of them through what they’ve taught us. And thank you 😊❤️
Great video! Wasn’t expecting the feels, but they were appreciated. Shout out to all of the parents out there just doing their best and giving their kids the best childhood. It’s a short period of time, but you’ll remember it the rest of your lives.
Solid video mate and dude you’re a clone of your dad lmao , I have those memories too of my dad, he would quickly make baseball bats on the lathe for me and my friends..in fact all of my childhood friends got into hands of work being inspired by my dad doing his thing in his shop, you’re raising your kids right, just like your dad did for you
Superb video man. My dad was the same always making or fixing things. He passed before i could learn from him, which sucks. Hope you had a great fathers day..... I ain't got time to bleed
Dude, great video! I too try to fix everything in my house, because I watched my dad do so as a kid. Sometimes I fuck some shit up and have to call a repair man, but sometimes I surprise myself and score a win! I have two young kids as well, and there is nothing better than them hanging out with me in the garage while I fuck shit up!
Reddit really sucks for self promoting, I got kicked out of a few groups there and on Facebook for that as well. You would think they'd let the little guy get some attention, but guess they want people to pay for advertising. Also pretty sure I know that antique shop you went to (if it's the white barn looking place on Central). Used to be a paradise of weird junk when it was a collective of random old people selling their odds and ends, even remember buying my first ever porno there. Granted it was from like the 70's but when your 16 anything is an improvement over the scrambled channels. Now the place is owned and operated by one dude I believe, and has been down hill since.
Yes!!! That’s the place! First porno! Hahahaha! Love it! Yeah, his prices were crazy. But, real fun to pick around in. There’s another place in Amsterdam that has better prices and the same kinda junk. And, you’re right. Reddit really sucks for that
The r/woodworking subreddit seems to still be modded by a bunch of overly sensitive moderators. Too bad its still that way. The youtube algorithm can be a cruel mistress.

Excellent tribute to family dude. Keep spreading the love 🤙
Thanks!

Couldn’t agree more

That’s so cool. Love seeing it go through generations. And thanks dude.

That does suck. I’m sorry, man. But it sounds like he passed on his interests ❤️

If you watch my videos, you know fucking it up and then learning how to fix it is my go to. Hahahaha! That’s awesome! And thanks!
The reason I do woodworking today is because of my dad. Plain and simple.
Same. It’s so great to see it all get passed down through generations
@@DieTrying13 I’m getting to pass it down to my daughter as well. She’s more of an artist, but we work well together when building stuff.
@vanmetschke I love it!
