Couldn't agree more. I chose the MT-07 as my first ever motorcycle and I love it. Not only did it suit my needs as a new rider, it will suit my needs for the next few years.
My main fear when buying my first bike, was that I'd soon outgrow it and have to be looking at another motorcycle in 12 months.
With the MT I can just upgrade as my skill increases so as I evolve as a rider my bike evolves with me. Couldn't be happier!

if you're going to get one I'd highly recommend footing the extra for the Akrapovic pipe. Pull the baffle on it, too. Your neighbors will love it ;)
