The hulk at beginning of infinity war was fine, what they could have done is given him more rage making him stronger. Not saying scientist chill hulk isnt cool but id prefer to see hulk get stronger and stronger. This is one of the most intimidating depictions if hulk ever, superb drawing

I think when you get hit by the Hulk, your brain doesn’t even try to calculate the damage. You see the Hulks fist, you hear him roar, and then suddenly your vision pops a blue screen and all you see is that white text going “LOL You just got fucking bodied, bro, Nuh-night to you!”

Wendigos have always been a curious sort of creature in marvel. Normally a prefer the zombified human deer hybrid look but They certainly make for cool beasty’s for hulk to face on the regular. In this comic particularly Hulk gives me a bit of bigfoot vibes pfft!

Wolverine is honestly the only one who could truly describe what it feels like to get punched by Hulk. We could say Thor but he has superhuman durability so it really doesn't count. While Logan's healing does allow him to survive his adamantium skeleton plays more large part in taking that punch. If he didn't have it he'd be nothing but a bloody paste on the ground. Hell his brain has to be trembling from the sheer force of the impact.
In the world war hulk saga, he fights Wolverine and tell him he knows he cant kill him, but knows how to incapacitate him. Hulk holds the back of wolverine's head and pounds his face repeatedly knowingly turning Wolverine's brain to mush. It takes him out of the rest of the fight. He heals of course but not until later.

In the same story arc, the Punisher hits Wolverine with a goddamned anti-tank missile. It's got great dialog even if the art is a little weird.

I have seen the Hulk cartoons in the 1990s and he seems quite nice when it comes to animals, then someone has to attack him and all hell breaks loose. You would then think that all these people who chase him come up with all of these ridiculous plans to beat him, but never think about actually leaving him alone (he tells you this as he punches you).

Yo that's kinda deep if you think about it mentally and physically. He has a healing factor so let's say he jumps off the Empire State Building. Now we all know the Empire State Building even dropping a penny off it can turn a penny into a deadly bullet. Meaning if someone fell off of the building they would instantly die on impact not even pain just instant. For wolverine it's literally splat then heal up and the only reason he still is alive isn't even dependant on his healing. It's his skeletal system because if his brain falls out it's over.
Hulk trusts Wolverine (even though he attackted him) then he proceeds to betray that trust immidiatly so really who's the dumb one XD. Hulk is probably the last guy you wanna cross when he's on your side.

Hulk's skin is not one of those things, though it may seem like it should be. Adamantium has crazy durability and strength, anything that isn't able to scratch it will be cut by it. Juggernaut (whose powers come from a supreme magical being), Mangog (a being with the combined power of billions), King Thor in the reigning, the Nemean Lion (who had impenetrable fur), and Celestial armour are things he's not able to cut with his claws.

I grew up in a time where Wolverine had that orange and yellow suit. Just two basic colors. Never understood what was the purpose of such a gaudy color scheme before, with the extra designs on it. The orange and yellow was primal.

Wolverine has taken numerous forms of pain and punishment over his long years of living. But that fact that he describes Hulk as a *walking earthquake* after everything he’s been through? Jesus.
Wolverine and deadpool are probably the only superheroes who could tell a normal person what being punched by the hulk is like. I guess that's what has always made wolverine my favorite superhero, he takes the same damage and feels the same pain as the rest of us, but comes back after. Where as other superheros just dont really take damage.
I had an X-Men annual in the early 90s and a version of this story appeared in it. It was awesome! While Wolverine was away, skrulls infiltrated the X-Mansion, which was detailed in another story (mainly text with a few pictures).
Imagine fighting a 12 foot man with muscles hard as metal that is able to regenerate and being punched by it. Makes anything organic it punches turn into paste.
Do you think that if someone dented wolverine’s skull enough he would just die? His brain couldn’t regenerate properly, and I doubt it would produce enough force to push it back into place.

The adamantium should be able to, but wolverine's arms are to weak to generate the force necessary to penetrate skin.
@@blaqjoker9105 ehh that's highly debatable. It's been said the adamantium claws cut through almost anything. The only things it can't are things that are harder than it. Hulk's skin is not one of those things, though it may seem like it should be. Adamantium has crazy durability and strength, anything that isn't able to scratch it will be cut by it. Juggernaut (whose powers come from a supreme magical being), Mangog (a being with the combined power of billions), King Thor in the reigning, the Nemean Lion (who had impenetrable fur), and Celestial armour are things he's not able to cut with his claws.

Never gonna understand the thought process behind justifying that yellow spandex suit.
I grew up in a time where Wolverine had that orange and yellow suit. Just two basic colors. Never understood what was the purpose of such a gaudy color scheme before, with the extra designs on it. The orange and yellow was primal.
Well it certainly doesn’t make him look like an actual wolverine animal. I wouldn’t know the reasons myself before he joined the X men. But during the time they had a colorful image to keep.

This is how every fight with Hulk and Wolverine should go imo, Wolverine obviously has regen and adamantium skeleton which is how can he even survive this and is a skilled fighter and a samurai, but I feel like none of that stuff should matter when you're battling the Hulk

Wolverine and deadpool are probably the only superheroes who could tell a normal person what being punched by the hulk is like. I guess that's what has always made wolverine my favorite superhero, he takes the same damage and feels the same pain as the rest of us, but comes back after. Where as other superheros just dont really take damage.

If you can confidently describe your opponent as a walking earthquake, then that is someone you really shouldn't make your opponent.
I had an X-Men annual in the early 90s and a version of this story appeared in it. It was awesome!
While Wolverine was away, skrulls infiltrated the X-Mansion, which was detailed in another story (mainly text with a few pictures).
