This band is beyond incredible. Recently got their Discography. Totally recommended. This song may be inspired by Homer Winslow, the American Painter. They also have songs on their 2 previous releases named after Painters. Katsushika (Hokusai) in Feathergun, the 3rd record. And Zdzisław (Beksiński) in Eidolon, the second one. Loved to see someone enjoying not just this band but music in this manner. Refreshing. Subscribing, cause he said to.

It's pretty difficult to recommend a specific song to listen to next because you can't really go wrong with any of them off of their last 2 albums, _Feathergun_ and _Living_ _as_ _Ghosts_ _with_ _Buildings_ _as_ _Teeth_ . But if I had to pick one for you to listen to next it would have to be "Dark Charade" as it's possibly their best song or at the very least in the top 5. My favorite song by them is "Just a Ride" but that's mainly because it resonates so much with me and has one of their more lyrically powerful outros.
Hope you'll become a fan! They are in my top five, along with Tool, Leprous, Opeth and Haken! Good song choice, but there are sooo much more... Maybe I can suggest Diamond Eyes from their Feathergun album?
About 30 seconds in I was thinking "O.K. now get Jon Anderson to sing on this." What I did hear was someone that reminded me at times of Freddie Mercury and others of Maynard James Keenan. Wow! This is my kind of music. Why are they not huge? Thanks again one more time.

When I messaged the band on Facebook about my recent discovery of them, Andrew was nice enough to reply. Said they were taking their time on current project so they get it right!.
@@JimboKM Very true. Their channel only has Landmines. Andrew is a really nice guy, I met them in Vancouver. They are all down to earth and super friendly. The live performance was outstanding.
It's a waste of enormous talent (especially for Andrew, the singer) that they're not more established or can't make a living from this incredible music. Such a fucking shame that most people will never hear this.
@@JimmyIronballs It's a mystery that some great bands or singers are almost completely unknown. After discovering Rishloo here, I've requested a couple of their songs from other reactors. Andrew replied to a FB query saying that they are working on a project but won't put anything out until they "get it right". I guess that means that it will be worth the wait. I mentioned that we will need official videos because that makes it so much easier to share and request on TH-cam. Fingers crossed.
Had not seen a reaction to this one yet, that was awesome! Great pick! Dead Rope Machine is another track that does not get the love it deserves. I agree with the guy who said you can pick anything of the last 2 albums. Arguably the last 3.

I'm sure I've recommended Rishloo to you at least once. They will continue to grow on you if you keep listening. They are one of those rare bands that don't have a bad song. Their first album is a bit iffy because they didn't have Andrew behind the mic but all their albums after that are brilliant.
