Followed this recipe to the letter and it didn't let down! Tastes perfect and was pretty easy to follow. OK, I did add in fresh mint since it's a traditional biryani ingredient and I loved it all through. Added it in the marinade...then added in the layering along with the dhania. Thanks for the recipe Phil.

Made this biryani today for the first time in my life as I couldn’t follow other recipes (take longer steps). Came out soooo good!! The recipe is simple, fast and easy to follow. I used chicken thighs and the meats were so tender.
What are the spices that you used? You didn’t mention. I’m from the USA and have never seen your channel or this dish. My mother was Syrian and she made some amazing rice dishes. I miss her dearly and want to bring back some of her dishes.
Amazing recipe though I would suggest that one should adjust the salt to their liking when cooking the chicken otherwise the biryani might be salt less. Also the spices if you prefer hot spicy food

Hello, your biryani looks so good! I see recipe requires 10 cloves for the rice. Is it cloves of garlic or what type of cloves?
It’s called clove. Check in the Indian or asian supermarket. Its a spice.
