Thank you po dito Chef. First time ko po magluto nito today and mas nagustuhan po namin ng partner ko ito compared sa binibilhan namin. Will be using your recipe from now on, super sarap at simple lang po ❤
ang galing mo po chef. very practical. thank you po for making your videos short. mas mabilis po namin naluluto ung recipe. in a short span of watching you po. ♥️
Great simplification Chef! It's still pretty much a Biryani. So that our kababayans who don't have complete access to spices can still enjoy delicious Biryani ❤
So its a matter of ecomomics din.
andami galit hahaha nagprovide lang si Chef ng recipe na madali mahanap sa kusina ng mga pinoy :) just like our spag or carbonara hinde naman talaga yun ang orig recipe.Make use of what we have sabi nga ❤😊
No need of spices fine...but steaming is an important step for biryani...you cook fried rice without saute it's not fried rice similarly if you cook biryani without steaming then it's not biryani...its chicken curry mixed with rice...chicken dum biryani dum literally mean steaming
Sorry but this isn't chicken biryani at all. The worst is that he mixed "cooked rice" along with the chicken.
Thanks for your expert opinion! Are you from india or pakistan? Please share the proper way of doing it? We’d love to learn from you!!!! Please be so generous with your culinary knowledge!
@@ChefTatung I'm not expert, just a regular guy who loves to eat biryani (mutton, beef, shrimp, chicken and vegetables). Been working in GCC region for 8 years now and I've got plenty of Pakistani and Indian friends, and you know by heart, you should never mixed the rice with the chicken. Rather, you should arrange them by layers and the rice must be at least 80 to 90 percent done. Chef, I watch your vids and get some inspiration as well on my dishes from your videos but you can't deny that this is not the way biryani should be prepared. I'm even sitting now with a Pakistani friend here watching the video, even he himself is not a chef or whatever, home cooked meals like this is part of their culture and he told me this isn't biryani at all. Sorry, just a SIMPOL criticism. 🙏✌️
@@marlouwecastaneda6322 thanks for that. It was educational. However calling it chicken curry would be misleading as well. The intention really was to make a mock chicken biryani that filipinos could do at home without having to conform with the social pressure of having to conform to strict culinry guideliness of cooking the dish commerically or within a professional or cultural context as expressed in the video and suggested by the title simpol. Sorry if it offended you.
@@ChefTatung it seems closest to a curry "Filipino style" than any biryani I knew. Also, don't say sorry coz I'm not offended at all. Maybe you should ask yourself, are you not taking any criticism at all to improve your culinary technique? Coz you seem to be very defensive taking some inputs from your viewers. Ang sinabi ko lang na mali, as in big sin, sa biryani making, is to stir a cooked rice. I didn't even say anything sa ingredients na ginamit niyo. Also, last Friday, mutton biryani ang niluto ko with my friends here. Just saying na mali yung process. Even me, I used almost same ingredients na ginamit niyo except sa dried herbs at peas kasi the point of biryani is to showcase the flavourful rice rather than adding extras na sabi nga ninyo, typical sa "SIMPOL" na theme ng videos. Keep it simple enough, no need sa mga king ano-anong bagay coz after all, the star of this dish is the rice and the flavours infused on it. SIMPOL advice lang chef, inputs and critics from others help us grow. Maybe you can try saying, yup, you're right. Well, improve our techniques next time. Oh yan di ba, SIMPOL! (Using your tone)
Thank you po, Chef.God bless!

I get your point. Makes sense now. Thanks.
walang green peas ang biryani
Thanks for the info! ☺️
@@ChefTatung i have been to kuwait, jeddah, bahrain, riyadh and dammam and never saw any green peas in their biryani
Better fried cashew nuts rather than green peas.
Tyme,basil,green peas?🥱😵💫😅
May sili may kamatis may beajs LOL NA LOL
❤
Binaboy na biryani yan!
sORRY BRO, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE PULAO MORE THAN BIRYANI. mAYBE i WILL CALL IT CHICKEN KHICHADI. BUT NOT BIRYANI

Teka nga! Teka nga sandali! 🤨
Ba't walang Biryani ang Chicken Biryani mo?!?! 🙄🤦♂️
I actually put 800g of chicken in this recipe. ☺️
@@ChefTatung ang issue ko lang boss is you don't call it Biryani if you're not using Basmati rice. It's just a Chicken Fried Rice with indian spice 🤨
Definitely not chicken briyani...But very tasty
Isn't authentic enough? Hehe apologies. ☺️
