I am retired and old and don't watch videos ever BUT these videos are addictive to me. Sooo funny and just naturally funny situations like your hanging out with your friends on a Saturday after a BBQ cookout with a few brews. I LOVE the culture corners input and think it's a big part of why KATS is so successful. Chappelle is the most intelligent person on the show as well as Kat. The funniest comment I ever heard was when Theo or Brenden said that Chappelle looks like Wesley Snipes in blackface. HA HA HA HA!!!!! Brendan: that was super brave to bring up the eating disorder thing!!! I've had mild self-starvation episodes coinciding with depression in my past and a cousin who had regular hospitalization-requiring anorexia as a teen / young adult, I can understand somewhat.. Regardless, this is an important conversation to have and coming from someone in as great shape as you and who appears like an Adonis type figure, an example of "prime" masculinity both physically and mentally, is extra impactful. And you are a prime masculine archetype, knowing that you have had struggles like this and that body dysmorphia and eating disorders can affect anyone makes you appear stronger and a deeper, more insightful man (vs the "meathead" stereotype). I'm a straight white male (meaning this isnt sexually motivated or charged) but I simply find this beautiful, man ! Good on ya!!
I'm a female who has struggled with an eating disorder, and I too thought this was extremely brave of Brendan to bring up! It's a difficult subject and I've always hated how much more hard a time males with EDs have due to the stereotypes. I was so glad to hear this small serious moment in this comedic podcast. I hope Brendan sees your comment! I hope you're doing better now!
